Cabin vacation rentals in Monticello

We loved staying here! the location is lovely, private and rural, right on a brooke in the forest. The house is adorable from the street, cozy, comfortable, and well appointed generally. The sauna, hot tub and fireplace were especially wonderful! Plenty of wood was available and easy to access to use for the fireplace and sauna. We took a beautiful walk with the stream along side the road and only saw one car, but there are no sidewalks. Recommend you pack extra towels. and speciality kitchen accessories and food storage if you are cooking there.

Meng's place was cozy and well stocked with quality items - we found the bed and bedding extremely comfortable! There was also a snow storm scheduled for the second part of our stay, and Meng was very communicative and kind while helping us plan an early check-out due to weather. We wish we could've stayed longer, and hope to return.

Pawel's place was great! He was very responsive and extremely helpful. They house was beautiful, and perfect for our needs! We would absolutely visit again!

My boyfriend and I decided to book Sam’s spot, and although we ended up in the COLDEST of weather. We still had a blast, and were warm and comfy. Would love to come back in the fall season! Thanks Sam for your responsiveness and your great spot!

We had an incredible time in Mary, Pavela and Victor’s cozy home! It was perfect for a girls trip for our friend’s birthday. So many amazing amenities, very clean and well located near restaurants and activities. Everyone was so hospitable and answered any questions we had quickly. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!

Moonrise pond was a quiet, secluded place with lots of room for indoor and outdoor games, a little pond with kayaks and trail hiking. The place was close to several quaint little towns with great restaurants. Julie was a great host, she showed us the place, gave us all instructions on how to work the hot tub, sauna and fireplace, and even included a bottle of wine. Julie had great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, local hot spots and places to visit. We enjoyed each and every place we visited. This was the perfect spot for our 3rd annual upstate NY trip. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you Julie and Bill for opening your place to us.

Although we encounter some challenges, Alex was very helpful, and assisted us in a very timely manner.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house was cozy and thoughtfully designed—it’s clear how much love was put into every detail. We loved relaxing in the hot tub at night while stargazing over the mountains. The view was truly breathtaking! We also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the nearby town of Tannersville and hiking the Kaaterskill Rail Trail to see the stunning frozen waterfall. Our stay at Anastasia's cabin was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and love have gone into this beautiful, spotless space. Anastasia was an exceptional host, offering us the chance to check in early before a major snowstorm hit—a lifesaver, as the roads closed to the general public just as we arrived. The cabin was PERFECT for a cozy winter escape. Anastasia’s local recommendations helped us explore the area, and the kindness and hospitality of the nearby community added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. This getaway was truly a dream, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

The cabin was cozy, well equipped & welcoming. Can’t say that I’ve ever slept on a more comfortable bed! The kitchen was well stocked with modern appliances. The property was certainly private, expansive & peaceful…maybe a bit too quiet for a Bklyn girl! A but tricky to reach and phone & internet service disappear as soon as you walk out of the house. The hosts were exceptionally responsive & helpful.

The cabin stay was great! Very cozy, and Jonothan was responsive, helpful, and gave us lots of recommendations, definitely coming back!

This Airbnb looks even better in person! We fell in love from the moment we arrived! Sharon and Jeff were extremely helpful in providing all of the provisions needed to make our stay feel extra special and like we were right at home. They checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure it was the best experience possible. Their cabin is beautiful, in a great location with lots of attractions and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this rental to our friends and family!

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with pots, pans, and all the cooking equipment we needed—it made preparing meals so easy and enjoyable. The snowy weekend brought stunning scenery, and we loved just sitting by the windows, soaking in the beautiful views. The fireplace was a huge highlight! There was plenty of firewood and clear instructions to get it going, making for such cozy evenings. William was fantastic—super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and stress-free. This stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend! 🌟

Loved hearing the howling coyotes in the distance at night and watching the deer meander on by at dusk. Your attention to detail made my stay simple a weekend to remember. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite Airbnb stays to date. The cabin is spotless, comfortable, cozy and safe. Dennis clearly gave a lot of thought to security and amenities for guests on the property. The bed is extremely comfortable. Thoughtful welcome basket with snacks and coffee was provided. Good local recommendations. Location is convenient enough for good hiking and breweries nearby. We’d definitely come back. Google maps was slightly off with arrival location but the address and entrance are clearly marked.

We had a wonderful stay with Thorald and Ashley. The cabin is so private and relaxing. We enjoyed the proximity to ski Belleyare and Plattekill. Thorald and Ashley were proactive in communicating. We would love to return and highly recommend!

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Oh my! Where do I start? The stay that I had in the cabin was PERFECT! It was so relaxing and it was the perfect getaway. It was snowing the day I arrived which only added to the beauty of the area. It was well worth the 3 hour drive there. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing trip and we will definitely be back with friends. The alpacas were so friendly and adorable! Don’t forget to bring apples to feed them.

This is a very beautiful rustic place with an on-site property manager who is wonderful. We had some challenges due to the unusually frigid weather in the area and Zachary and Deb responded immediately. You will enjoy the sound of the brook outside the door.

This was our second stay here. Patrick's cabin is peaceful and cozy. We were greeted with a welcome note a bottle of lovely wine and popcorn. We were there during a cold snap yet were very comfortable. The wood burning stove kept us nice and warm (with plenty of wood in the wood shed). The setting is idyllic we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Patrick is easy to communicate with and very accomdating including for our need to change our reservation. We'd love to return in the warm weather. It's a very special place!
