A really fun place to escape every day stuff

We had a wonderful stay at The Hen House! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved spending time by the pond, fishing, and soaking in the jacuzzi. The home had a great selection of DVDs for all ages and fun games like Balderdash, which made for some memorable family game nights with the kids. The location was incredibly convenient—close to restaurants, stores, and just 10 minutes from the Magnolia Baseball fields. The house itself is tastefully decorated, warm, and inviting, with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Cassie was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend The Hen House and would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is beautiful. We grilled one night and had a blast with how much amnesties there was. Oh and the bed in the master bathroom with the barn door was the best bed we have ever slept on! We got the best sleep in that bed. Our friends enjoyed it. We are already planning another trip for next year

Had a wonderful time here at the cottage. Heather was very communicative throughout the whole process, and was very quick to respond to questions. This made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Amy was an amazing host. Very kind and considerate. Very responsive. The place is beautiful and cozy. Fun seeing all the wildlife. Great birdwatching, little turtles swimming nearby, fish jumping. Peaceful, neighbors are warm and unpretentious, people wave when you’re driving through the neighborhood. The bed was very comfy, everyone slept well, plenty of TVs for every one to enjoy in their rooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook at home. The coffee bar was well stocked which is awesome. The snacks were a great touch and everyone enjoyed that. The available games were fun too. Only wish our schedule would’ve allowed us to stay longer.

Such a fun get-away place for my family! My kids loved the outdoor activities and it was so peaceful waking up in the trees with the sunshine shining through the trees. It was a fun and unique experience!

Well used space. Easy fit for 10 if majority are children I would say. Few spider webs especially on the patio which I had to clean which was no big deal until I got stung by wasp from wasp nest under one of the balcony chairs. Husband sprayed nest so I hope better for next guest. I stayed here 2 years ago and must say maintenance was better at that time in surrounding area pool, grass, community over all. bait shop now closed on premises (don’t fret a bait shop is within driving distance) In the home the upkeep is very good. Stocked with the essentials. Nice stay

We loved our stay here! The house was really clean and just as described. We loved being across from the lake and being able to fish. The kids enjoyed the games and playing in the backyard. Tyra was a great host, very friendly and helpful and always got back to us! Would stay here again!

We were in town for a fishing tournament. This house is absolutely perfect for people coming in to do something like that. The private boat slip has a power source right there, so you can plug your batteries in and keep your boat charged. The sun deck is an added plus. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. You can tell there is a lot of effort put into it. Keli was super responsive, and very pleasant to converse with. The fenced in yard is nice for pets, and well kept. I can’t say enough about our great experience here!

We so enjoyed our month-long stay at the Cozy Boho. Bailey and Jimmy are excellent hosts, communicative and attentive. This property is located in a peaceful, walkable neighborhood, away from city lights and noise. It is a great location for accessing the many trailheads in the National Forest, among other fun things. Inside is perfect for two adults, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed and sofa. We were very happy here!

The Good Smoke cabin was great, the pool area was very relaxing and me and my wife felt right at home. We really enjoyed our time at Happy Goat and will return

I can’t say enough about Lisa’s place. Very clean and welcoming. Private and secluded. Great place to relax! I have to say the bedding was so comfortable. We got in late so the snacks were awesome to have available, along with a few delicious chocolates! Would definitely stay again!

Michael’s home was perfect. We came For a conference, and it was just what we needed. It’s always refreshing to have a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. We will be back!

Great place for our 6 week stay. We brought our boat and loved being right at the lake in the cottage with much more space than we anticipated. The community was very peaceful and safe. We left tackle and rods out on the boat overnight without any trouble. Neighbors were friendly. Howard was attentive and responsive. We hope to be back again next year!

Darrell's house was perfect for our needs. we came down for a funeral in Houston, and staying at Darrell's was a perfect place to relax afterwards. The house was perfect, clean and relaxing. our dogs enjoyed the yard and the house. Darrell's was responsive to every question prior to arrival. He also meet us when we arrived. showed us around the house and let us know if we needed anything to let him know. We are considering going back to just get away from the city. Thank you Darrell for having a wonderful property.

Great home. Everything in the pictures was great, 😊 very comfortable,great location And everything you need to cook and our boat was very safe parked right in front of the house at the bulk head.We will definitely be back to this home.
