Cabin vacation rentals in Monkey Island

Took my wife here for a valentine’s weekend getaway. I messaged Christina/Jeremiah if they knew of a local florists in the area, and not only did they provide one, they went and picked up my order to be at the cabin prior to my wife and I arriving. I wish I could post a picture of my wife’s smile when we entered the house. Thank you so much Christina & Jeremiah, for sharing your beautiful home and helping make an absolutely memorable weekend. We will most definitely be back when the weather is warmer. Awesome property and even better hosts.

Great place, very fun for a group of people!

Raymond and the co-hosts were very responsive and answered questions I had before I reserved the property. We felt at home and enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the dock. Would stay again!

Courtney was a fabulous host! We enjoyed our quiet weekend away and her place provided space for us to relax and unwind. The hot tub was a delight, the large table was wonderful to gather around for meals, and we enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors. Would highly recommend!

Two stays here within the last 6 months. What a great place for a long weekend getaway. They have thought of everything you might need to have a wonderful time. Kayaks were so much fun and we definitely enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the snow. We were there during the off season and it couldn’t have been more peaceful. Josh was very responsive and the cabin was just perfect!

Excellent stay, blessed us with the makings for smores and firewood! Lots of room and everything in a kitchen that you would need. Beds slept great!

Perfect getaway for peace and relaxation! My husband and I were looking for a quiet retreat, and this cabin was spot on. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Shay went the extra mile with a thoughtful goodie basket and card, which was such a sweet touch. The cabin itself was perfect—beautifully stocked and exceeding our expectations in every way. We also loved the walking trail, which our dogs enjoyed just as much as we did. If you're looking for a cozy, well-appointed stay in a peaceful setting, this is the place. We can't wait to come back!

I absolutely loved the cabin! If you are looking for a get away close to shopping, gas and eating you are just a short stroll away. You are less than 5 miles to boating and 6 miles away from Monkey Island. Outdoor theme w/a fireplace, awesome patios, late model appliances, spacious, ceiling fans, comfy furniture, beds were awesome. It was a pleasure and a joy to have found the “Shake Outback” and be able to enjoy my family gathering, great nights sleep and the porch/patios! Anthony was so helpful and responsive to any questions. I definitely will be returning again!!

Was a cute little A-framed cabin. Very clean upon our arrival and Joe was quick to answer any questions I had by text. We loved being able to see so much wildlife. There were many deer, foxes, squirrels and beautiful birds to watch. Our stay was in the latter part of July and it was very hot. Would be great to stay again when the temperatures are much cooler!

What wonderful hosts. They had all the ingredients for root beer floats , which hit the spot for those hot summer days. House was just as shown in the pictures. It was just right for the two of us. Thanks for a great stay.

Was a great place to stay! Very clean, nice and exactly like what we imagined it would be based off the photos. Made for a very nice and relaxing vacation! Would 100% recommend!

Great cabin by the lake for a good price. Would highly recommend it. The private dock was pretty cool!

Linda’s place was perfect for what we needed. We were in the area for the Picture in Scripture Theater performance which was only 8 minutes away and we were able to bring our 2 small dogs. Took a walk with the dogs around the loop in the neighborhood and there are very nice views of the lake.

Such. Peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back.

Our family and friends really enjoyed our stay in this home. This was my first time to stay at Grand Lake in winter, and it was wonderful. The temps outside were chilly, but with the floor to ceiling windows running entire width of the home, you could enjoy the beautiful lake views in the comfort of a warm beautiful space. The furniture and decor was lovely, and there were so many bedrooms! We didn't begin to fill up all the rooms and spaces to sleep or just get away by yourself. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful host. We will be back!
