Cabin vacation rentals in Monkey Island

The space was beautiful and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and hot! 💜 I enjoyed the privacy of the valley this home is nestled in. There were neighbors, but it still felt private.

Took my wife here for a valentine’s weekend getaway. I messaged Christina/Jeremiah if they knew of a local florists in the area, and not only did they provide one, they went and picked up my order to be at the cabin prior to my wife and I arriving. I wish I could post a picture of my wife’s smile when we entered the house. Thank you so much Christina & Jeremiah, for sharing your beautiful home and helping make an absolutely memorable weekend. We will most definitely be back when the weather is warmer. Awesome property and even better hosts.

Raymond and the co-hosts were very responsive and answered questions I had before I reserved the property. We felt at home and enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the dock. Would stay again!

A peaceful get away in a beautiful location. It was off season but still enjoyed the area. There are a couple of small markets and a dollar general very close to the place for food and such. We stopped in Vinita for groceries but could have gotten them in Afton. We ate at Road Hog Saloon (great potato salad), Chickanellas (yummy Reuben), Quarterdeck (fried pickles), Clanton’s Cafe in Vinita (awesome breakfast) and went into Grove to eat at Casa Gutierrez (really good). Great thrift shops close by as well. The host was AMAZING - hope to get back soon!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It truly exceeded expectations. The space was thoughtfully designed and extremely clean, with attention to detail. It was the perfect getaway for some relaxation and quiet time. We most definitely will be returning and would highly recommend!

Loved this cabin! There is a lovely trail on the property with lots of trees and a stream. We walked it 2x a day! Our dogs loved it and they didn’t have to be on a leash which they loved. There’s also a stream where you can fish or kayak. It’s very peaceful and a great place to take a break from all the noise of the city. The only negative is there’s not a lot to do in town (besides go to the lake if you have boat) although there is a place about 15 minutes away where we took our daughter horseback riding. It was fine though bc we didn’t want to do many activities but relax. Shay was very sweet and left us a jam packed snack basket, cookies, and a plant! So sweet! Def recommend if you are looking for a scenic, cozy, quiet cabin getaway.

Melissa was a great host who responded quickly to messages and provided some local recommendations for food and entertainment. Cabin in Afton has a cozy feel and the lake view from the back porch is beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the fenced in back yard is perfect for your family pet(s). If you are a fisherman, this AIRBNB is centralized between Twin Bridges Grand Lake and Langley Lake (about 20 minutes). This is definitely a 5-star rating. We enjoyed staying at LEE‘s place. The staff she has working there is exceptional. It was an entire family that was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some they were extremely accommodating and gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area, as well as giving us a great price for boat rental for the day which we enjoyed fishing off of and enjoying the scenic lake!! We will definitely be staying here again.

Was a cute little A-framed cabin. Very clean upon our arrival and Joe was quick to answer any questions I had by text. We loved being able to see so much wildlife. There were many deer, foxes, squirrels and beautiful birds to watch. Our stay was in the latter part of July and it was very hot. Would be great to stay again when the temperatures are much cooler!

What wonderful hosts. They had all the ingredients for root beer floats , which hit the spot for those hot summer days. House was just as shown in the pictures. It was just right for the two of us. Thanks for a great stay.

What a relaxing weekend getaway. It was raining every day but that just added the perfect ambiance for romance. Our place overlooks the lake and it is so beautiful in the day time. This cabin is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. It had everything we needed. ( bring your own soaps/shampoos). It's decorated so pretty and the bed is super comfy. We had time to read, watch tv,nap during the day, go nearby to eat and enjoy some shopping. We cannot wait to come back this summer and hopefully the weather cooperates alot better. Our host was delightful and responded to us super fast. Would give this place a 10/10.

It is a nice cabin in a campground, the mother daughter duo that run it are great. The location was perfect for us.
