This place is incredible! The owners even gifted us a wine they make, which was absolutely delicious. You can take a stroll around the property and immerse yourself in nature. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax for a few days.

It is a fabulous space to be in contact with nature and rest. The house is right in the middle of nature, with limited contact with the village. No neighbors! We were able to really rest and disconnect from the bustle of everyday life. The host, Isabel, is always available and in contact with us in order to guarantee us everything we need. The place was clean and well-maintained. Once the space is isolated, access is facilitated by Isabel, who is always available to transfer between the village and the house. I highly recommend!

An amazing house for family vacations! The house is very well equipped and very spacious with a large swimming pool to enjoy the sun. Isabelle was very responsive and pleasant during our stay. I totally recommend it!

A winter stay with all the comfort in a magical natural surroundings.

We were only able to stay one night in Fernando/Cecilia's home; however, it was wonderful (even in the rain). The historic building is beautiful and incredibly unique. The views over the countryside and vineyards are amazing. Cecilia met us on our arrival and explained everything to us (while also providing information about the area). They were very flexible with check in and check out. My wife and I only wish we would have had more time to spend at Fernando's house in order to explore the surrounding area. If you are considering a visit to the Douro Valley, you can't go wrong staying in this home.

Excellent stay for several in family with children. The area is beautiful and well maintained, the swimming pools are pleasant to cool down during heat waves. The hospitality is perfect; the price in season can be scary initially but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justify it. We'll be happy to go back! Thank you Ines (and Angela)

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Jose’s house. Our stay was wonderful! We asked Jose to have a tree and some decorations, and the house was decorated with the beautiful Christmas tree, candles and fresh green tree branches. There were a lot of kitchen supplies. Everything to cook and eat in a big company. Although it was cold in the kitchen, we used the fireplace. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. We also enjoyed eating tasty oranges and mandarins. In addition, Jose and Sergio greeted us with the table full of snacks and 2 bottles of their own wine. Great time in the peaceful location! We would like to come back in summer.

The stay was excellent: The house, the pristine pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we've spent here have been ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante that surprised us pleasantly and other cities to visit, 1h by car. Thank you Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!

We were like our Pets and it was very quiet. We found a place to eat nearby and parking spaces nearby although it was a paid spot and we had to get up early the next day to place a new parking ticket. Her explanations are well organized and we didn't have any inconveniences or complications, I really recommend.

Very cute and cozy place. A perfect place for those who want to rest from the day-to-day rush. The serra da cabreira as the backdrop and the sound of nature give the touch for perfect relaxation. We loved the pool, and despite the rain forecast, we were lucky to always catch good weather. Raquel and Miguel were great hosts, who made us comfortable for any questions and we also appreciate the tips that were given.

Jose and Aurora's place was the highlight of our month-long trip in Portugal. They have a beautiful farm in the middle of the tranquil and picturesque countryside. We spent our days swimming in the fresh water tank and local rivers, picking fresh fruit from the trees, playing with the animals, and walking through the cobblestone streets. Their place is perfect for a family with young kids, but is also a relaxing getaway for adults, too. The little cottage we stayed in was quaint, but had everything we needed to feel at home in the country. Jose and Aurora were very welcoming - their hospitality unmatched! They particularly made our kids feel special by taking them to pick passion fruit from their own personal trees and letting the help feed the geese. What an experience. Five bright stars!

A very pleasant stay. The pictures and description do a very accurate job of portraying the house - it's spotless clean, has a spectacular view, and everything works very well. One major highlight: this was the best stocked AirBnB I've ever stayed at: a fridge full of staples upon arrival, fresh fruit, wine (for purchase), and a daily delivery of fresh bread and pastries; truly incredible.

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.
