Waterfront vacation rentals in Mission Bay

Great place right on the beach. It’s small but perfect for what you pay! We enjoyed our stay and will be booking again.

It doesn't get much better than this. You can watch the ocean all day from 5 floors up. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Had a great stay at Josh’s apartment. The views were beautiful and Josh is very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. The apartment was centrally located and the parking space was very convenient.

Great place to stay its right across from the ballpark and very close to all restaurants and nightlife in Gaslamp.

Very comfortable accommodations with all the amenities needed for a beach stay. Diana was flexible and responsive at check-in. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived.

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

Our hosts were welcoming and very helpful. The descriptions and instructions were clear and easy to understand. The house was very light and bright. It was spacious and clean. Everything was exactly as described. We ate lunches out and cooked dinners in and enjoyed the ability to use the grill and enjoy the patio. Our hosts were incredibly responsive! We had a small issue with a smoke alarm and Michael came that day and replaced it within an hour. Then he stayed to chat and offered recommendations on many local adventures (Cabrillo State Park and Point Loma Lighthouse, La Jolla Cove and Cave) and restaurants. One note which is made clear in the instructions involves the garage. We had a larger car (SUV type) and I highly recommend a party to guide the driver while parking in the garage. The car fit nicely in the garage but the alley is a tight space for navigating. We will definitely be back and look forward to more San Diego adventures! Thank you Michael and Lily!

Adam was very quick with communication and was able to let us know a toilet was broken and what time it would be fixed. The place was in a great location near a lot of amazing places near the pier. The garage is a little difficult to get into as the neighbor is not keen with you using her parking space to clear the wall but otherwise no issues. The hot tub on the deck is the best part, it may just need to additional lighting to see when grilling later in evening. The neighbors were peaceful and nice and we were walking distance to a lot of things. Would maybe recommend not even getting a car as there are lots of bike and good cart rentals and we only drove to and from the airport and a few other places. We loved our stay here as there was lots of space for everybody and it was nice it was pet friendly. We would 100% stay here again as it had everything we wanted out of our vacation. Would recommend leaving windows/door open in kitchen. It gets smoky up there and the alarm goes off easy

Harry's place was fabulous. One block from the beach, great community space on the 2nd floor for us all to hang out, especially great because the wall facing north opens to the patio. Everything was as described and we had plenty of room for the kiddos. Walked to great restaurants daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Ricardo was an outstanding host! He provided very clear instructions, and was very thorough and responsive. The space was awesome. Provided some peaceful privacy as well the option to explore just about any cuisine you would like. All within walking distance.

This house is a great place to stay for an extended visit, as it has all the essentials and a fabulous view. We appreciated the personal welcome we received from the host, as well as the high quality of the kitchen, bath and laundry facilities. Point Loma is accessible to downtown, Coronado, Balboa Park, and the airport. The neighborhood has grocery stores, a movie theatre, restaurants, and waterfront trails. The house is located in a residential area that's quiet during night hours, which makes for a good night's sleep. Although it was too cold to use the outdoor spaces, the two lounge areas and the barbeque would be great for visitors during good weather. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to install blinds in the kitchen and dining room windows. Some type of sun control is needed to make these areas usable during the morning hours, due to the bright sunlight. Window blinds would also provide privacy at night.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The house is beautifully designed with the perfect configuration, making it both comfortable and practical. The location is unbeatable—literally beachfront! Despite being near the beach parking lot, it was wonderfully calm and undisturbed. Plus, it’s just a peaceful 5-minute walk to the charming city center. And the view from the rooftop.… absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of it. The house was spotless and came equipped with everything we needed, from silverware to all the essentials, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. We already can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this gem.

Maria was always available when I needed to speak to speak to her. She is a warm and professional person. The place was just beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. Parking was easy. The ocean view was magical.The place was quiet and restful. We are coming back in May for my birthday. I can’t wait to return. It is the ideal spot to vacation. I would recommend anyone to schedule a vacation with Maria.

Spectacular views, clean, convenient, good beds, simple but has great extras, elevator, parking spots, baby equipment. Looking to the next time.

Our stay was wonderful. You already know from the pictures that the view is amazing, but in person it’s even better. The location was excellent - within walking distance of grocery stores, clothes shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream, coffee shops, etc. The apartment was bigger than it appeared in the pictures. It was very clean and stocked with plenty of pillows, towels, and toilet paper. We were greeted with a delightful plate of fresh fruit. Great place in an excellent location.

We have done Verbo Vacasa and Airbnb properties. This was by far the most accurate and most fun and cleanest and nicest and honest location that we have done. We cannot wait to come back there.

What a view! Super convenient right on the beach and close to everything. Great host, a great experience for my friend’s first trip to California.

The Airbnb is a a great walkable neighborhood, park right next door. Super convenient to travel to and from all the activities. We appreciated the amenities like the kitchen, hot tub, bikes and garage.

So grateful for John sharing his home and being so accommodating. The place was beautiful and I couldn’t ever beat the view in all my days. I would love to be back if he’d have me! Such a pleasure.
