Place was perfect for our 2 night stay over the holidays. Had everthing we needed, appreciated the K-cups and cream and sugar that was available. Only complaint was that being an upstairs apartment it gets pretty hot and there is no way to adjust temperature. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Carrie was great! She communicated instructions for check in timely and clearly. For the few questions we did have, she got back to us right away. There were also instructions in the condo The place was just as described in a great location! We had a great vacation and it was so nice to call this place home for a week!

Iron River Retreat w/ Sauna: Walk to Ski Brule!

The owner, Tom, was wonderful. He reached out a few times and gave us great info regarding our stay. The rental home is located on Ski Brule resort property, we took our adult children and spouses for a belated holiday gathering. The home was perfect! We had ample space, kitchen had all needs for us, towels and sheets supplied. Our only request might’ve been extra blankets and blinds on bedroom windows, otherwise perfect. Our family has been going up there for years, this was our first stay here but it definitely won’t be our last! We’ll be back!! Thanks Tom!!

Communication throughout our visit was just great. Judith is such a sweet person. Her niece does an excellent job helping her out with things too. The place certainly has that “Up North” cabin feel. Everything was well stocked and super clean. Location is perfect to everything we like to do. The Boulder Junction ice ribbon skating through the forest is an excellent winter attraction!

Great spot to stay. We stayed here snowmobiling when it was the black bear lodge. Nikol was easy to work with to move our dates to a later time until conditions for snowmobiling allowed. Which meant so much when your at the whim of Mother Nature. Great place to stay.

The check in process was frustrating. Booked a few days in advance and the listing stated I would get a text with the door code to enter the residence but I did not until I had to reach out to them. I was given a code/instructions in a message but when we arrived at the home the code I was given was incorrect/didnt work. We drove 3+ hours for it to take 2 hours to get in, after getting ahold of Vacasa to be told this was an Airbnb issue because it said I did not pay for the stay (but the money was deducted from my account) so it was the 3rd party/middle man issue. it took awhile to get ahold of airbnb as well but eventually everything was figured out and we were able to get in. The location is great & beautiful. We went up for ice fishing and there was 12+ inches of ice. it was nice being able to just walk out to the lake. The house itself was clean and nice. The overall price of the place was great except we felt the $150 cleaning fee was a bit much. Overall it was a good weekend away

The place was very nice and well maintained. I guess my only complaint would be that the master bedroom can get a little chilly due to lack of heat vents. The only event I could find in there was in the bathroom. But if you get beyond that, the place was really great!

This place is fantastic! Super clean, great view, close to town, fit seven adults very comfortably. Everything we needed was available. Great communication about what to expect, how to get there, verified we received information with a phone call. Very thorough. Highly recommend staying here.
