Vacation rentals in Minnitaki

Our family spent Christmas here. Comfortable furniture, nice dining room chairs, kitchen was well stocked, Robyn was very responsive and found solutions for the few questions we did have.

It can take some bravery to have to explain tough circumstances. I was in need of a place near the Hillcrest animal clinic due to emergency surgery with my dog. Proactively the hosts recommended solutions to my situation, and without judgment. They thought to accommodate me more, before I even knew I needed it! Which was super thoughtful. The location is a perfect, private suite. I could not find something to criticize...and I tried, as the hosts were eager for any feedback. One to keep in mind for future trips! thanks!

Beautiful property right on the lake run by a lovely, friendly couple and their pup, Jack, who kept my dog company! The cabin is exactly as it looks in the photos, and is a perfect escape if you just need some time away. Cliff was onsite for most of the time I was there and was so friendly, asked me if I needed anything when he left for town and brought out a canoe for me to explore the inlet. This is a small community where loyal visitors have been coming for years, so it felt safe and friendly. The cabin was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed—and an awesome deal for the location and company—but like others have said, it’s not a fancy resort :) it’s a family-owned old log cabin. Enjoy it!

If you are looking for a remote place to stay in the Eagle River or Vermillion Bay area this is a nice option - even though there are neighbours you are mystically alone as I never heard them besides a rooster which was welcomed and a beautiful dog - german shorthaired pointer I believe. The scenery is natural and tranquil; there is a great deck to sit up out yonder and have a coffee and look at the shimmering lake bestowed by the sun over the amazing forest. I came here for the outdoors and wanted to rough it a little as I planned hiking in Dryden, Kayaking on the lake and even drove 15 miles to the gym in woodland arena. This cabin offered everything I needed and I appreciate the simple design and only 1 tv if you need it. It's a nice quiet place to enjoy, how a cabin should be. All the excitement with making your food and enjoying your views. Also the boat house is great and a nice place to relax.

My stay was very pleasant, the cabanas very well equipped, some board games for leisure evenings, I was able to enjoy Kayaks rides, sauna baths, you can contemplate beautiful sunsets and most importantly a peace that you feel connected with nature. Your host is a beautiful person for your pleasant treatment and very attentive. I'm sure I would come back as many times as I can because I can say that I feel at home.

This place is a hidden gem. The kitchen is amazing well equipped with quality kitchen ware. The beds are very comfortable with great pillows. The cottage property is so well kept and beautiful. The lake is crystal clear, you can see the fish come right up to you. It is also, so quiet and a birder’s delight as a host of birds can be heard including, rough grouse, cedar waxwings,wrens, loons, eagles and many more. Anna is an amazing host, she went above and beyond finding us a fishing guide Jamie K; who brought us out on the lake for a day of fishing and great memories. Thanks again Anna for everything!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The place was beautiful and Brent was great.

Great place very comfy bed. Beautiful dog named Norman. Very friendly hosts, blew all of the snow off of my vehicle in the morning after a storm. Host had fresh banana bread waiting for us that was delicious. Would 100% recommend and hopefully we are able to come back. After seeing the dog in the morning my fiancé looked into Kijiji and unfortunately no doodles came up but we did end up picking up our first animal in Winnipeg, a Maine coon cat! So thanks for that Norman. 5/5 stars. Thank you.

Beautiful cabin on the water! Felt like home and Joel was very accommodating and very quick to respond. He also gave great recommendations of places to go with my son!

We were not disappointed with the cabin, it was perfect for our stay. So beautiful during the Christmas holiday! Would definitely recommend!

Rustic is a matter of perspective! This was a decadent getaway for me and my partner, who are used to tenting. Thoroughly enjoyed the paddleboards, coffee maker and electricity. Although we had perfect weather, I imagined the porch would have been an amazing spot to watch a rain storm. This was a slice of heaven and exactly the getaway we needed.
