Vacation rentals with a kayak in Milo

Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

Owasco Lake is beautiful - crystal clear - and staying in Adam’s place almost felt like staying on a house boat since it’s RIGHT on/over the water. We loved hearing the waves lapping up against the shore and seeing the sun rise over the lake in the morning. The use of the 3 kayaks was great, and we also brought some inflatable SUPs for our kids - they had a blast on the lake. The house is also close to a Wegmans, a beautiful waterfall (Carpenter Falls), and a great brewery (Aurora Brewing Co). We all had a great time! The neighbors were SUPER friendly and Adam was very responsive to questions. The outdoor fire ‘pit’ on the patio was lovely, and there were plenty of life jackets and towels for the lake. My only complaint is that the house was a bit run down, and the middle bedroom was a bit warm because there was no AC in there. Overall though, a wonderful trip!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

My family and I attended our niece's wedding nearby in Victor. There were 10 of us staying, so we needed a place to stay that could accommodate all of us. Serenity Shores was perfect. Plenty of room, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, spacious enough for all of us to get ready for the wedding. Then such a relaxing place to hang out and rest for a couple of days before heading home. The only issue we had was there only being a spiral staircase between upstairs and downstairs. My 84 year old mother was with us and couldn't do the spiral staircase. Upstairs is level with the driveway/parking, but with the kitchen being downstairs, it was better for her to stay down there. It worked out, there is a path that goes down a hill on the outside of the house to a patio and sliding doors. The path is loose stone, so we held on to mom while she walked down. It wasn't much of a problem, Mom loved the place. Just an FYI. Bottom line, 5 stars. Our family made some great memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Dave's property. The house exceeded our expectations and was warm and cozy and very well equipped. The location was great. Right on the lake and very peaceful. Dave was easy to contact and very helpful.

The house is very clean, and homey. It was also well stocked with the essentials and the host was very friendly, and responsive. We had a nice time while we there. You can’t beat the location and scenery. It was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Many thanks to Casey for letting us use her house. My granddaughters and I had a wonderful time at Keuka in the winter. The views are amazing ! We woke every morning to lake views and spent part of the day watching the water. The rest of the day we explored the area and did many fun things . Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

How can I start? This place was beyond beautiful. The place felt like home and the natural beauty that surrounded us was unmatched. We felt like we were in a winter wonderland. Our kids were able to walk on a frozen lake and create snow angels. Building a bonfire while it’s snowing is an experience that you will never forget. The views were amazing as we all spent time in the living room. The upstairs nook was a hit. We can’t be more thankful and grateful with this location.

The cottage was just beautiful..right on the water. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen ready to set up housekeeping. Brochures available for area activities. The 1 bed available is able to sleep around 6 people ..lol.. the bed was very comfortable. There are other pull outs for sleeping.

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

Our stay at Kara’s was wonderful. We rented the house and the bungalow, both of which very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Well decorated, comfortable furniture, and washer/dryer in both units. We spent lots of time in the water, and having kayaks provided was a bonus! The porches were great for meal times together and playing games. The beachfront was awesome for getting in and out of the lake, especially with the kayaks. Location was super. Just over a mile into town, so close to grocery store, etc.. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. Kara was super responsive!

The cottage is small but has everything needed for a great getaway. It was close to wineries and breweries. We had an awesome stay during an off season time and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable during warmer months to take advantage of the outdoor space. It really feels like the hosts are sharing a well loved home!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

Relaxing, peaceful, perfectly described and well equipped. Not only was this place ideal for our family during our extended stay, the hosts were amazing. Kind, reachable and helpful. Would recommend, just understand lake living. Loved it!

Beautiful property in a stunning location! Cabins are small but very efficient. Beautiful sunsets at the dock. A great landing pad to explore the area.

My friends and I had a great weekend here! We especially enjoyed having fires and hanging out on the dock. Perfect location and was only a 5 minute drive into town. The cabin was just what we needed & I would definitely recommend to others.

We loved that there was both a cabin and a bungalow on the property—it gave us so much space to enjoy. One of the highlights was the firepit that Ken had already set up for us, along with a delightful s'more bar. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our nights by the fire extra special.
