Vacation rentals in Mills County

What an unbelievable place! I decided to take my kids on. a "staycation" and ended up finding Best Nest Farm. I love camping but my kids are more into the "glamping". We were all so thrilled from the moment we got there. The kids kept saying "Everything is just perfect. They have thought of everything!". All amenities were exactly where they needed to be and Amy and Marcel certainly left no stone unturned. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

This house has been great for our family of 7 more than one time. Always clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. Linda has always been kind and responsive to any of our needs. If you're looking for a nice private and peaceful place out in the country, this is the place for you!

This was our second stay at the farm and we love it more every time. We love the farm feel with the amenities of an urban home. The site is a small, beautiful farm valley with nearby animals that our kids grew to love. Inside felt brand new and very spacious. The well designed interior had plenty of space for our extended family, grandparents and kids all felt at home. There are no steps and the finishes are top notch. Down sides: the hot water is not instant, took a few seconds for the shower to get hot. The kitchen faucet is a touch-faucet, my brain took a bit getting used to this and now I touch all kitchen faucets and get upset when they don't turn on. Also, the kitchen is open to the main living space and dining space, so if separation is your thing this may not be the best for your family. It was perfect for us, however, and we look forward to our next visit to Glenwood. Thanks so much Shannon! The apricot beer you left for us was our favorite, it will always remind us of Iowa.

We loved this house! Great 50s decor. So clean. So peaceful. 1 minute to town. Lots of room. Host was so nice. Highly recommend!

I had a bit of trouble locating the place since there was a number out front that didn’t match the house number. I went into town and asked; they assured me it was the right place! Once inside, I was instantly comfortable - lots of amenities, even things I would not have thought of, like first aid materials. There were outlets and cords available to charge my devices, which was greatly appreciated. All in all, it was a great stay!

This my wife and I’s first stay at Art Church, but certainly will not be our last! Everything about this place is amazing. From the upstairs artwork to the downstairs thinking trees and chalk writings all over, this is a unique and comfortable place. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a break from the city or a taste of small town Iowa. Thanks again Zack (and pup)!

Luann’s place was great for our family of 6, including an infant. It had everything we needed (including a pack and play) and was very comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed! We will book again when we visit!
