Condo vacation rentals in Midlothian

Pawel’s place was very modern, clean, we felt like we had enough privacy despite the fact you live in someone’s apartment. Bathroom very clean , kitchen , our room . He was responsive , friendly , gave us some recommendations , was flexible with check in (offered option to let our luggage earlier) . Apartment was in peaceful location , surrounded by parks and beautiful views on Arthur’s seat . 13 min walk to shopping centrum with big supermarkets , gym and other shops . Bus stops are around 10 minutes walk, many buses going to Edinburgh centrum, you do not wait longer than 5 minutes and 1 route is only 2£. By bus it is 25-40 minutes to city , depending where you are going . Overall for the price we were very satisfied and would come again !

The accommodation was in a quiet location, easily accessible from the town centre by public transport, with a supermarket across the road. Kathleen was a very pleasant hostess, helpful but not intrusive.

A good stay. Nice, clean, quiet and friendly. Bus was easy to catch to get downtown.

We stayed with Aoife & Gareth for the week and they were super helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our time. Beautiful parks to walk around, great coffee shops and walking distance to the highland cows at Swanston Farm! It was so nice to come back to clean, warm welcoming home. We would recommend Aoife if you're coming to Edinburgh.

My stay at Paolo’s place was truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, Paolo was incredibly welcoming, kind, and always available to help with anything I needed. The apartment was perfectly cleaned, beautifully maintained and had everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also excellent—well connected to the city center, with several bus stops nearby. Plus, Craigmillar Castle was within walking distance, which was a fantastic bonus! This has been by far my best experience on Airbnb—everything exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Shahab is a welcoming and friendly host. He answers questions as soon as possible and all information is clear and accurate. Their place is easy toaccess thanks to the guidelines provided in advance. It is located in a quiet area and is very well served by the different buses and shuttles that go to the city center or theairport, the bus stop is 5 minutes from the accommodation. It's clean and the bed is comfortable! Thanks to all this, I had a great time in Edinburgh! Thank you so much.

We had an amazing time at Jonathan place! We booked for a week and he is the best host I ever had on airbnb, considering that I travelled 38 countries! He picked up from the station and gave us a ride in old town then showed us clear instructions for everything in the flat. My personal opinion is not to get fooled by old furniture, everything was functional and all the facilities included like nobody else. Unlike other host where I had to buy spices, coffe, shower gel, shampoo and toiletries or to beg for an extra towel, he has everything included. The apartment is huge and cosy and makes you feel like home. Especially the natural plants and the pictures on the walls which gives soul to the flat. The location is walking distance from all the popular area to visit in Edinburgh! The view is amazing to the holyrood hills.... To be honest I rather a cosy place like this than a luxury souless flat with no facilities where they charge extra for everything you ask.

Wanted to spend a few days in Edinburgh dan Glasgow but I really didn’t want to live in the city. Thus found this gem! The place is around 30-45 mins away from Edinburgh city and 50-60 mins away from Glasgow. I didn’t mind the scenic drive. And i always love returning to a nice cozy and quiet place to sleep. The family and I loved it so much. Kitchen was big enough for us to make breakfast and dinner. The internet was fast for work and gaming (my son!). And the girls love the video games came together in the second bedroom. The roadside park is safe. The house is located at the end of a closed street. So no worries there. Lee is very clear with his instructions and fast too. Highly recommended for family of 4-5 pax. Thank you Lee!

Flat was exactly as described and perfect for our short break. Pre-arrival I had all the info I needed and it was stress free. Flat is quirky but not over the top, kitchen all works and bedrooms roomy and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay here. Very clean and tidy. It was warm and cosy and lovely to come back to after being out and about. Check in was easy and Annie gave clear instructions on this process.We were meeting up with friends who lived nearby so it was in great location for us. It was easy to get on the bus to get into the centre or nice to walk if wanted. Would definitely book again if visiting Edinburgh.

Fantastic stay! Place is perfectly located near trams to take you anywhere in the city, amazing price and lovely accommodation. Axel was exceptionally helpful, allowed us to leave bags before check in, gave extra time to checkout knowing we had a long day the night before. Great weekend staying at Ollie’s place. The flat was ideal, plenty of space for 3 adults and everything we needed for a weekend of exploring Edinburgh. It’s ideally located, just a short 20-30 min walk into the city centre, but also close to the tram if you don’t fancy the walk. Local shops just down the road and some lovely restaurants too. Ollie was helpful throughout, sending all check in information out in advance and checking in during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely recommend

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Lovely property with all you need for a short break. It’s within walking distance to the city centre and transport links. The local area is great with some nice bars/restaurants. Would definitely stay again or recommend.

We really enjoyed the space, location and the worn charm of the old building. It was well equipped with everything we needed including toys and Christmas decor. I did not understand there were 23 stairs which was a bit difficult (but doable) with a stroller. Walk across the road into the Meadows which is my favorite part of Edinburgh. Thanks Angus and Pippa.
