Vacation rentals in Midland County

We had a great stay. The little blue house was easy to find. The lock was simple and the code easy to remember. There were stairs to climb to the main floor and then everything was on that one level, except for the washer and dryer and a little office area downstairs. The house itself was clean and well stocked. The beds were both very firm. We visited in the winter and the driveway and sidewalks were clear of snow and ice. The thermostat did revert to a certain temperature after a specific amount of time, which made it a little cold in the morning. I’m sure there was a way to fix that but we just kept putting it back where we wanted it. There were lots of fun things on the shelves and in drawers—games and interesting books. Lots of things you might need in the large mirrored closet, including a laundry basket, high chair, and there were other things for kids to do and play with—there were even bath toys in the bathroom! Overall, everything was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

Kevin's house is delightfully vintage! For those who are looking for a late 80's or early 90's experience, this house is for you. The space was cozy and warm; we turned on the gas fireplace and read our books. As per location, I don't think there could be a better one. It's in walking distance of many coffee shops and bakeries, and the neighborhoods nearby are lovely and perfect for walking. We are grateful for such a fun Midland experience!

Todd was truly such an amazing host. His home is beautiful and I can’t even imagine what it would be like in the summer with the lake in the back! Would absolutely love to return in the summer months. He was so responsive to everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Would recommend!!!

Beautiful home that gives you an isolated feeling of being in the woods, but is close to anything you can think of, the perfect peaceful getaway. Candy was a pleasure and more worried about my comfort than I was, this was my second stay at her home and already looking forward to staying again next year.

Great stay and great hosts! Very thorough instructions and well thought out amenities. Bedrooms were awesome, sauna was amazing. Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Julia’s place. There is a nice fenced in backyard with a patio that our dog appreciated, and everything was pet friendly, with a crate available, dog bowls, etc. The house was clean, organized, and very comfortable. Would stay here again!

We stayed at the Arbury House as a temp residence for about a month while moving to the area. What a great find?! Doug was of course great. Very responsive and helpful with our needs. Lots of families and kids in the neighborhood that made moving from another state much easier for our children as they were out playing daily. Love the little vegetable stand with fresh produce and farm fresh eggs. The access to local parks and the Pere Marquette Trail and Northwood University all within walking distance was nice too. We also loved seeing our turkeys every day and the deer :-)

House was exactly as described. Easy check in, check out process. Would recommend Lori's place to anyone coming into town, and needing a very clean place to stay.

The house is beautiful. We felt like we were at home. Very clean!! Set up great for families. Toys were great and grandchildren loved having boxes of new toys to explore. Everywhere we went was right a round the corner. Stores, restaurants and activities. Midland community center for swimming. Valley Lanes for bowling, arcade, indoor putt putt, bumper cars, lazer tag and more. Great place for a winter family get away. Shannon was great! You will be happy you stayed!!
