This house is in an excellent location, with a supermarket nearby and a beautiful green field just across the road, perfect for enjoying stunning sunrises and sunsets. We spent a wonderful Chinese New Year here, and it truly felt like home. The décor is stylish and cosy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, especially the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking effortless with just our own ingredients. Our host, Rosaline, was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to assist, ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Her thoughtfulness made our experience even better. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

wonderful cottage in lovely location. local pub a couple of doors up and fish and chip shop close. beautiful decor and loved the sea theme. would highly recommend bus service into whitby was great.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was super clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The underfloor heating was wonderful especially after coming in from the hot tub. The hot tub was private, with a great view of the field, and had clear instruction. The snacks in the kitchen were much appreciated ☺️ Overall, just a wonderful, relaxing couple days. We would definitely visit again!

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.

What a fantastic location! Walking distance to Runswick Bay and great routes along the Cleveland Way. There is a black folder with walking suggestions, we decided to do a circular walk from Hinderwell, through to Port Musgrave and into Runswick Bay. Just under 4 miles with a 5yr old and it was just breathtaking. Peaceful, quiet and a beautiful place to stay. The house itself was exactly as described, clean and spacious. Jamie was very responsive and a great host. Felt very comfortable staying here and reaching out with questions. Just beautiful.

Great location to explore Durham and the surrounding area. We were visiting our daughter at Uni and it was great to be able to bring our dog along too. The parking permit's meant we didn't have to worry about parking - we will be back again!

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Emma's place is beautiful and so comfortable. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it had all the utilities we needed. I definitely recommend this place.

Really cosy and homely annexe. Log fire prepared ready to be lit on arrival and milk in the fridge which was lovely. A little chilly in the morning as there was a problem with heating but this was quickly fixed by Fiona and her husband and communicated wonderfully. Plus it was nothing that lighting the lovely log fire couldn’t fix! A really peaceful weekend - thank you.

Quirky place to stay. Great place to enjoy a celebration as it is equipped with a hot tub and sauna not to mention a bar and ample seating. It was a walk away from the theatre and some good restaurants too. Jenni and Brian are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Great place to stay for visiting Durham. Clean, quiet - really good communication from owner. Be cautious on relying on Google maps for getting there.. it can take you to the wrong address....

Superb little place - very peaceful and absolutely immaculate. Beverly was very friendly and communicative throughout. Wholly recommend this place to explore the Richmond area.

We had a lovely stay here the host gave very clear instructions and there was even milk and butter left in the fridge for us. The best nights sleep ever it was so quiet and the bed so comfortable. There’s everything you could need for a stay and we even enjoyed a jigsaw puzzle that was there. We would certainly stay again and would recommend!

We had a wonderful break - Rosie’s cottages are just gorgeous, five stars all the way. Beautifully appointed, furnished and so central in the heart of such a lovely village Stokesley. Everything was easy to get too and lots of restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. Rosie was so welcoming as a host - lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches, pristine condition and spotlessly clean. We felt very lucky to have found such a great place to stay for nearby family celebrations. We’ll definitely be back!

Janes flat was absolutely perfect for us ! we have family that live in guisborough and the flat was nice and close to them ! co host Anthony was also great at responding to any questions we had ! we were also surprised by so many lovely treats on arrival which was so kind and unexpected! will absolutely be returning !

Lovely accommodation in Hinderwell. Ray is really friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable.

I would definitely recommend Chris’s place. It is clean, spacious and beautiful! As a host, Chris was very helpful and responsive. If I’m ever in Durham again, I’d stay here!

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Great Ayton. Short walk to pubs and shops. Brilliant place to stay for walks to Roseberry topping and across the Cleaveland Way.Everything that you needed for a great stay was provided. Very clean and would definitely recommend
