We absolutely loved our stop-off at Casa Werma on our way to the coast from Mexico City, just made us wish it was longer than a one day layover! Casa Werma is an immaculately kept property in a huge expanse of gardens and trees, which as anyone who lives in Mexico knows, is a rarity here! It is a beautiful little oasis in the ramshackle charm of Patzcuaro. Faith and Craig were lovely and so accommodating. They make you feel totally welcome whilst also giving you your own space. They also make a fantastic breakfast! The casita was SO sweet-beautiful old tiled bathroom and an open fire in the bedroom which was much appreciated to hang out by in the chill Patzcuaro evening! We would most definitely stay here were we to return to Patzcuaro (which I am seriously hoping will happen!).

Area too quiet, quiet. Very easy location. There was only one detail with the door lock but we were taken care of as soon as possible. Being a small house, the spaces are well distributed, very clean, the concept is very well, the place is beautiful and very fresh. I highly recommend it!!

Instructions clear, There’re very helpful and caring Such a cute and lovely cabin it’s like a really small farm for all you. Things outside of the house in the property were a lil dusty but understandable. They opened up the doors of that beautiful and special cabin for me and my whole family and we appreciated it so much. Thank you

A great stay. Not that far from Mazamitla, but in the middle of a wooded area, very nice. Just as an observation do not carry a low cart, because it may in some of the descents that the road has, if it goes to paste. But overall great.

We had a wonderful time, while the house was a bit hard to find, Manuel was very responsive and helpful. The house is very spacious, very clean and beautiful. The mattresses are top quality and the bathrooms (showers) are great. The top terrace with the fire pit and lake view was where we spent most of the time when we were not out and about. We'd definitely stay there again

María and the staff working in the house are super friendly and are attentive to everything , Maria had some spectacular details in the accommodation for us, the place is beautiful with an incredible view, lots of greenery, everything is very clean and with everything you could need during the stay, it is quite well located to walk downtown or to the pier, I highly recommend it

Very nice house. The people who help (Mari and Victor) are always friendly and helpful. It has an excellent location, 20min walk to the "Velo de girlfriend" and 20 in the center of Avándaro. Highly recommend!!!

It feels like home. There is a very nice garden. Paty and Luis take care of the house and we take care of the house very well. My little dog loves the house and the new friends she's made there. 🐶

To visit Ciudad Hidalgo and be a few days is a very good place, it has the necessary services There were a few small details with a window that we couldn't close in the kitchen, but it didn't cause us any problems as the weather was quite hot and helped well to breathe the house

The food they prepare is delicious and the treatment is the best, they were always very attentive and friendly! The only thing is that the room that touched us is attached to the street and has a cancellation, so you can hear a lot of noise at night, from that point everything is perfect.

10/10 highly recommend your stay at Arleigh’s B&B. The property is beautiful, she’s a wonderful host, & everything is within walking distance. It’s important to note that the living quarters are on the 3rd floor only accessible by stairs (street level is floor 1) but they’re not terrible. Everything that you need for a weekend getaway or even a few days is there! Breakfast, hot water, towels etc! Arleigh is also extremely responsive & so willing to make recommendations or suggestions to get around. We absolutely loved it & will be returning very soon!
