Cottage vacation rentals in Mezquitilla

We had a wonderful and relaxing week. The house was lovely and it was what we needed. The gate wouldn't open a day we were going on a trip. We contacted solymar Holidays and we got help within 20 minutes. The best recommendations from here.

Rafael was super accommodating and good on communication. This house is simple but the location is amazing in this warm valley of avocado farms and good views. Nice walks around. A good deck for sunshine and being together.

Carmen is very very friendly and helpful. She responds to messages very quickly. We received a warm welcome with a nice fruit basket and explanation of how everything works. Lovely house to recover and celebrate holidays and therefore definitely recommended. The only downside is poor road surface on the way there and navigation actually indicates a different location. I think the road is better accessible with a terrain wagon or car with 4 wheel drive.

The house was beautiful it had everything we needed very quiet area and José super good host I recommend going to this house 100%

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

A real wonder, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the environment. It is a privilege to have breakfast on a terrace overlooking the mountains, lunch on the roofed terrace with a wonderful gas barbecue, snack by the pool, and dinner looking at the fireplace. Everything was very clean and very complete in amenities. The access road may seem complicated, but it was in very good condition despite the rains. Ramona was a very good host.

The house is just as shown in the photos or better, the stay exceeded our expectations. We went for a weekend with friends to visit the area and in the end we were in the house all the time because it was great. It has everything you need to have a great weekend. In addition, Nuria was super attentive, she answered everything quickly and that made our communication fluid. I would definitely repeat :)

We were 16 persons and had a wonderful time at Finca Mojita. The house was great with the most amazing views in all directions. We cooked most of our meals at the Finca and with the combination of 2 well equipped kitchens it was a joy to cook and eat together. The pool was superb with beautiful garden furniture throughout the property. Jose and Lisa were wonderful hosts - so welcoming and helpful. Thank you both for the wonderful stay

This is our second stay at Jasmine Azul. Yet again a lovely holiday with everything we needed. The villa is so homely with great views and amazing outside space. Monica is a great host, always responsive and super friendly. 😎

This place was amazing. As soon as I booked it Eyal was super responsive with answers to questions I didn’t even know I had yet. This setup was exactly what we had in mind for a quick weekend getaway to relax. Everything you might need is a 20min trip down the mountain which is not bad at all. And you are right in between Malaga and Granada, so the possibilities for the rest of your trip are endless

Rosa Maria’s was exactly how we imagined. So clean and relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations. The views of the sunset were fab. We had our dog with us and it was so perfect as secure and he could run around the garden or sleep in the shade in the outside kitchen area. We stayed for 6 weeks and didn’t want to leave. You must have a car for this property. It is an amazing location to get to all other areas Nerja, Torrox Costa, Frigiliana etc. Would be back in a heartbeat.

From the moment of arrival they were very close and friendly with everything related to the house and the place. The house had all the basic necessities, even more than necessary (chicken eggs). The stay was very pleasant and quiet and with any questions we were always in contact in a simple way. The truth is that it has been a perfect weekend of good company that we will definitely take into account again in the future. I'm glad to be able to find people as good as them, highly recommended!!

Casa Lo Pinto is gorgeous! we had a fantastic family holiday, the location is lovely and quiet, and still only an hour from Málaga and Granada, yet the roads are really accessible, if you know the area you'll know this isn't always the case. The pool is lovely, and shade is available under the olive trees. The porch is lovely to eat on as well as chilling on the balcony in the evening and the house has everything you'll need. A fantastic place to stay.

This rental is even more beautifull than the pictures show. Located high into the andalusian mountains , very secluded and private. I do suggest renting a SUV type car considering the mountainous environment. The villa was absolutely spotless and very well equiped to make your stay a very comfortable one. The house has 2 fireplaces, one inside and one outside with a grill attached to it. Jose supplied lots of excellent dry wood for these fireplaces. Jose the owner is one of the best hosts we've ever had . He met us at 02.45 in the morning to help us find the villa. He brought us cakes from a nearby bakery. Brought fruits. Gave lots of relevant tips and really cared about our stay and wellbeing. Gave us wood for the fireplace for free. Was extremely responsive when we messaged him, a very kind and caring person we were quite impressed. All in all this rental was a great experience, and we loved every minute of our stay there. We were together seven people from Finland and the USA for the first time visiting Andalusia. Sonia was waiting for us in the middle of Frigiliana and guided us to her beautiful house. At the house everything was just as described in her ad on Airbnb. Everything was clean and in good order. She also told us interesting stories of the history of the house and her family. Also her tips of places to see and restaurants to visit were very useful. Unfortunately she wasn't able to change the weather but she arranged more firewood to make our stay more comfortable. I'm sure that we'll try to arrange a new visit to the area and hire Villa Obispo if it is available. We all agreed that we can warmly recommend the place for visitors from anywhere. The views from the house are spectacular.

We stayed at Carmen's villa as a family with 2 children. The location was very quiet with great views. Carmen was very helpful, super friendly and always available. The villa was very well equipped and fully corresponded to our idea. We didn't miss anything. Pool towels and pool toys were also available for us. Our excursions in the surroundings to Málaga, Marbella, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey (book early!), Ronda were worthwhile (travel times 30 min to 1:20 h). We can recommend the restaurant at Lauro Golf Resort. We were extremely satisfied with our week at Carmen's villa and can recommend it.

It was a wonderful stay! Ana and Paco are such warm hosts, it was a great pleasure to meet them! The house is prepared with so much love for detail and the property is wonderfully beautiful! There are small squares and terrace areas everywhere to linger. Our favorite place was in the little niche overlooking the impressive valley! Our highlight was the garden and outdoor area! Everything was green and blooming. Every morning fresh oranges and the wonderfully fragrant orange blooms. We will be happy to come back for the harvest and look forward to the mangoes, figs and Moscatel grapes! 😍

We had an amazing stay at Francisco's casa, it was so peaceful, a brilliant location in a natural environment. The casa was just as described, if not better than the photo's, a real home from home, we were very comfortable there. I would highly recommend.

Juan gave us good instructions and made sure we had plenty of oramges off his trees for juice. you can walk to alhurin. shame it was a bit cold when we were there as the pool looks very inviting.

Beautiful and clean holiday home with a lovely private swimming pool. It is a cozy but complete cottage, the kitchen is small but contains everything you need. Very friendly host who is quick to respond and helpful. The location (Cajiz) is a bit remote (20-25 min drive) to Torre del Mar beach. For those looking for peace and quiet. Recommended!
