Family-friendly vacation rentals in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

It was lovely break for a couple of days for my husband’s birthday. The hot tub was amazing especially in the cold weather and such a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and even came out to us to direct us to the correct location when I called on arrival.

We have just had a large family Christmas at Stratford house. It was great as loads of bedrooms with en suite’s. A huge dining kitchen with lots of space to host and a great conservatory with a large dining area. The location is fantastic, about a 5 min walk from the centre of town. Natasha was very responsive as we asked lots of questions prior to staying due to cooking Christmas dinner there, had no issues. My mum was ill on checking out and had to attend A&E and Natasha kindly offered me another night so that I could be with her. Fortunately, my mum was discharged home that afternoon but we were really grateful of her kind offer.

Absolutely wonderful place; the setting is beautiful, peaceful and extremely relaxing. The cottage was very clean , well-equipped and we felt at home really quickly. Both hosts were kind, responsive to any questions and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

A fantastic location and extremely peaceful. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything we could possibly need for our stay. The hot tub is great and there are loads of outdoor spaces to sit. Very welcoming and helpful hosts, who struck the right balance of being there if needed but did not make you feel pestered. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful place, and we plan to stay again soon!

Sarah was welcoming and explained everything to me and let me know if there was anything I needed she was on hand next door. The directions she sent before my arrival were very helpful. This first floor place is stylish, well decorated and comfortable and has everything you need. Parking is just on the other side of the courtyard. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this AirBnB.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place sits on a 20-acre lot and we enjoyed walking the dog onsite. The bed was very confortable. Lorwa was a great host and checked on us on the arrival date. It is very peachful!

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Zoe’s lovely home. It was exactly as pictured - really clean, well furnished with all of the amenities we could need and even provides breakfast which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. She was also really helpful with finding some local badminton courts my husband and I could play at in the evening. Next time we’re around we’ll definitely be back - pending availability ☺️ Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

We had a restful weekend stay in this welcoming property. It was spacious and private and very well placed for dog walks along the canal and further afield. Nigel was helpful but not intrusive and he was very accommodating. We had everything we needed and were extremely comfortable. I worried that the flagstone floor was going to be cold but there was underfloor heating which made it toasty inside - no underfloor heating in the bedroom but I don't like it too hot in the bedroom so that suited me. The WiFi was weak but 5G was available so we used that.

David, has been really helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend to anyone. So much so that we have booked another extended stay in January. Thank you David

Great place to stay near family over the Christmas break.

Would highly recommend. This was a comfortable and spacious house for our 50th birthday gathering of 10 adults. All facilities that you would expect, including soap, towels etc. Plenty of room for 4-5 cars on the drive. A pleasant 20 minute walk into the centre of Stratford. Terese-Anne was very responsive to our questions and accommodating. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Great few nights away for Halloween! Cosy barn tucked away, surrounded by trees and fields. Swimming in the heated pool at night in October was great. Geoff was always at hand with any queries or recommendations. The Halloween decorations was a nice touch for the kids to keep pranking each other throughout our stay. Great setting for a general chil out with films and board games. Hartlebury Castle was a great few hours out and not too expensive. The Willow and Boar was 2 minutes up the road for a nice breakfast. Would highly recommend The Pool house! Thanks to Geoff and Alan!

We had an amazing stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—peaceful and private, yet close enough to explore the local area. Wendy was incredibly welcoming and provided great communication prior to arrival with recommendations for nearby activities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic retreat. We will be back!

Absolute gem! Loved Wendy’s cottage. We had a wonderful stay. Place is warm and cozy, decorated in a beautiful way. Very well equipped, everything you need is there. Wendy is a great host and was very helpful throughout the entire stay. The Cobbs shop/cafe near by is fantastic too. Great location wonderful host and cottage. 100% recommend
