Vacation rentals in Metlika

We stayed in Bakarac for a week with our two children and our dog in the beautiful house of Hvorje. House and property are well equipped and we especially enjoyed the fireplace, sauna and hot tub in October. There are many activities from Bakarac. The island of Krk is easily accessible in 15 minutes. Right in the village there is a small supermarket and 2 restaurants, one of which was closed. Other restaurants in the neighboring village were quickly accessible by car. In the low season, as expected, the offer, but also the hustle and bustle were reduced, which we enjoyed very much. Overall a nice and relaxing week.

This apartment was nothing short of amazing! Pristine, comfortable & modern in a very convenient location. Communication with Ivor & Davorka was smooth and they were extremely helpful. Looking forward to returning in the near future! Highly recommend.

We (family of 4) had a wonderful stay at House Paola. The accommodation is a small cottage, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The living & dining room is large enough for a relaxing TV evening and for eating in bad weather. Everything necessary is available in the kitchen. The air conditioning upstairs near the bedrooms was really worth gold at up to 37 degrees in August. The pool, which is exclusive to the property, also offered a wonderful cooling and was also very well maintained. Vedrana is very nice and always helpful. Our kids no longer wanted to separate themselves from Vedrana's lovely dogs. The location is very quiet and you can enjoy the warm summer evenings on the terrace. You can drive to the beach about 10 minutes by car, which was completely fine for us, as we preferred the tranquility in Vinodol to the overcrowded beach resorts.

We liked the stay in the apartment very much. The location is perfect ( 3 min to the beach ), with beautiful views of Vrbnik and the sea. We found the apartment clean and spotless as described. Also the roof terrace with sea view was a big plus. Unfortunately, we couldn't open the windows at night because the cars passing by were partly noisy. Our host Marija was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We also especially loved the flexible check-in and Marija accessibility. We would love to come again and wish you all the best.

Everything was wonderful! The apartment is very large and very nice, nothing is missing. Alice is super nice, even let us store the bikes and was also very helpful. The location is also great, close to the sea and the harbor. Thank you for everything.

The experience staying in Tihana’s place was great, Tihana’s was caring and lovely, reaching out to us multiple times ensuring we are having a great time in the island, sharing local recommendations. The place is great, 2 mins walk to a private spot right on the island waterfront. The place has great location, only 5 mins drive to mainland, and around 45 mins to Krk southern part.

We had a fantastic week in this cozy house. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful beaches within walking distance. The house has everything you need and the private parking space was very convenient. The host is a lovely person, always ready to give advice and make us feel at home. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at this place! The house is beautifully decorated, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially liked the balcony with beautiful views. The location is ideal – quiet yet close to many beautiful excursion destinations and restaurants. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. From uncomplicated communication to quick responses to questions to great tips for the area – there was nothing missing. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back.
