Stylish & Modern Cardiff Home

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed as a base for visiting Cardiff and couldn’t have picked a better location. Lovely house in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, the nearby green open spaces are a minutes walk away and great for dogs. There is also a reservoir (dogs not allowed) with a purpose built track around it which was one of the best locations I’ve ever had the pleasure to run around. The house itself was brilliant, highlights were the open plan set up downstairs, multiple Sonos speakers, secure garden for the dog and an amazing coffee machine. As a host David was on it from the minute we booked, getting in touch and sending numerous short video clips to demonstrate how things worked. He also recommended a decent pub for dinner and was able to answer any questions we had without delay. I would be more than happy to recommend David and his house and would love to visit again.

Lovely stay, the house is lovely and location is perfect as I was using the train station. Despite being so close the the station you don’t even notice it. Host were lovely and when I had a problem operating the heating they were over within 20 minutes and found the issue and fixed it. Would 100% recommend.

Bed &Breakfast near Cardiff centre 4

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
lovely place to stay like being with family or old friends and made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Comfy beds and plenty of space and although all 3 bedrooms were occupied we felt we were the only ones there! warm as toast and slept well (1 double and 1 single bed) only thing I would change are the make of the milk pods, so messy to open and the kettle was too big for filling in the bathroom but a travel kettle would be ideal. Cindy and her husband are lovely people with a lovely house and I would definitely book again in the future

Cheerful 3 bedroom miners cottage in Pontycymmer

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A great little stay...we always stay here when visiting friends in Bridgend, with our 3 children. Its warm, co op just over the road and a little park a few minutes walk. Always a parking space outside. Neighbours are friendly, quite a peaceful location. The house always has everything we need which is the biggest selling point for us. We just want to pack our bags and get to our destination, without having to worry about taking toilet rolls, towels, washing up liquid etc...we stayed nearby in a detached house before and whilst it was lovely, fancy decor etc we were expected to bring our own towels, there was no bin bags or anti bac spray which spoilt the stay really. This little place has everything :-). Would always recommend.
A bright sleeping area features a spacious bed adorned with a patterned duvet cover. Soft grey carpet is present underfoot, and large windows are dressed with checkered curtains, allowing natural light to enter the room.

DanielRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Andrew's place was ideal for a family break with 3 young girls and exactly what we needed. Its in a great location for driving to attractions like the Brecons and Zip World and has free street parking right outside. It was very easy to check in & out. It's in a quiet peaceful location with comfy beds and we all slept well. The living room, dining room and kitchen were quite spacious and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The girls were all saying about "when" we come back (not if) because they enjoyed it so much and want to explore more of the area.

Fabulous location and easily walkable between both the exciting city centre and the culturally inviting Bay area. This accomadation quite rightly boasts its remarkable views of the river, is peaceful and private, modern, comfortable and yes, as cosy as stated! Seriously, the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a joy! This was my first visit to Cardiff and as a writer and tourist I can absolutely say my inspirations were tweaked! The hospitality of Gemma and Shaun was friendly, accomodating and respectful! Perfick!

Tucked away there's no way you'd find this apartment without knowing it was there - luckily we were sent directions which meant we could find this gem! the apartment is spacious in the living areas and bedrooms with each bed being a double. there are 2 rooms with 1 double bed in, and 2 rooms with 2 double beds in, which was perfect for our needs. parking was about 10 minutes walk but there were lots of spaces available (at the library) which was perfect. we got ubers into town but it's probably walkable in 25mins if you were that way inclined! really communicative and friendly host, and I would definitely look to book again

"Ynys" cottage

PetraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Ynys. Very tastefully renovated old dairy, with lovely views of the pastureland. Loved watching the farm animals from living room, while sipping cup of tea, great way to slow down, no WiFi was a bonus for us and our teenagers 😊 Taken in Crickhowel with Table Mountain, Abergavenny with Sugar loaf, the wonderful Llanthony Priory and the scenic route via Llanthony to Hay on Wye. Great access to Black mountains. The farm has lots of charm, with old buildings and farm animals, Jonathan was very responsive to any questions.

Hawthorn Lodge with Jacuzzi, sauna and play area

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fantastic peaceful stay in a beautifully located area. The accomodation was everything we hoped for from the details given on the website. The owners were friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Detailed instructions were at the property for everything and Joe came to meet us to explain everything in more detail. Even how to get the fire going to enable the heating to work. They even came by each day to check the hot tub and set the fire up ready to light it when we came back Every detail was thought of within the property from milk in the fridge to board games We loved the geese and ducks on site We loved the hot tub and sauna room too The local pub and food recommendations and local places to visit were greatly appreciated too We would highly recommend this place to friends/family who want to get away from it all and totally relax with the benefit of being a short drive to nearby towns and visitor attractions if you need that too
