Centrally located to take numerous excursions or just spend a few nice days in a sustainably built and furnished house. There are no wishes left here! Top equipped Bulthaup kitchen, large solid oak table in the center. On the terrace, a charcoal grill awaits to be fired and in the large garden, trampoline, fire pit, heart beat faster.

It is a place worth revisiting. On the way to the rental house, we were attracted by the surrounding scenery when we first came here. The clear lake water and the 170-year-old house where you can drink coffee inside. We met some friendly strangers who came to chat, which made us feel like we were in a foreign country and yet it felt familiar. I have to tell you, this place I'm talking about is close to the rental house. When we arrived at the place, the host and his wife had been waiting for us for a long time and warmly welcomed us. They showed us around the place, and the room was as clean and tidy as advertised in the pictures. Since I was in Germany for work, I didn't have much time to interact with the Host, but I could still feel the warmth from the Host and his wife.

Absolutely loved our stay at Patrick and Sophia’s house. Perfect for our two little girls, easy access to Munich. This is my second time staying in the delightful cottage of Jule - this time with my two sisters. My sisters were also delighted with how beautiful, loving and attention to detail Jule decorated the cottage. Everything is really thought of!! Such a well-equipped kitchen is rare. Jule is also a very friendly and super helpful host. And if there are any questions, she is always within easy reach. We had the most beautiful sunshine and enjoyed a hike around the Elbe Lake. The surrounding area has many beautiful hiking and excursion destinations. We all felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend Jule's cottage.

A really wonderful host: the loveliest family, couldn't have been more helpful, accomodating and attentive. Excellent communication...even when we called at odd hours. The house is warm and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. We really miss the massage chair, our morning coffee and our new friend, the little cat. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen/living area is really spacious, the garden is lovely with outdoor dining area and the washing machine and dryer were very handy. The neighbourhood is perfect for a family. It's quiet, friendly, with excellent transport links. Two U-bahn stations, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, clothes shops, a pharmacy, health food shop, bank and even a department store are all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property and host. It was like a home away from home.

We were on a work trip and the stay was very good for this purpose. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are good. Sound insulation in the rooms good. Good in the listing, and a large living area for four people. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. The place was clean and cozy. The access to the listing was through the app, and it worked well for us. The area is peaceful, but there are hardly any services nearby. The bus stop is a short walk away, so getting around was pretty easy.

We spent a very nice week with the family in the great villa and felt very comfortable. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The house is very idyllic from the outside area to the furnishings and it is quietly located. We lacked nothing. We were warmly welcomed by Alex and his mother and we could also contact them at any time. The house is located close to Lake Ammersee, which we could easily reach on foot. We can give at least 5 stars and wish the other guests such a nice time in Villa Matilda and a good rest. Many thanks to Angela, Alex and his mother!

Haus Ruth - cozy living in the orchard paradise

This is a cute and cozy cottage, not far from the train station (12 or so minutes by foot), the lake (maybe 5 to 7 minutes), a grocery store (7-10 minutes), and a bakery (5-7 minutes). The hosts stopped by on our first evening there and gave us some delicious apple cider they made themselves. They also provided eggs when we asked about them, which were a tasty breakfast one morning. Hosts were super repsponsive whenever we had a question. Note that there is a foot path directly down the street from the house with easier access to the stores and older parts of Dießen, but which doesn't appear on Google Maps. Some highlights: Getting visited by the neighborhood cat as well as the ducks and chickens (they came up to the patio door). Christmas dinner in the living / dining room that we cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. A lovely walk down by the lake on Christmas day. We will have very fond memories of this Christmas!
