We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful atypical accommodation beautifully restored and equipped. We really enjoyed Didier's warm welcome and hiking tips, the many books and documents available to us, the calm of the apartment and its decoration. Vauvenargues is a village in an ideal location for hiking on the Ste Victoire. The nearby convenience store is open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Free parking is 200m away.

We enjoyed the stay and recovered superbly. It all worked out.

great host, appartment is cozy, kitchen seemedked well equipped but we were lucky to be feted by friends residing on the compound and we did not have the opportunity to use it as much as expected; Sandrine and Ludovine have been helpful and flexible hosts all expectations have been met, we had a great time in Provence

We absolutely adored Salama’s beautiful apartment while visiting our daughter studying in Aix. The apartment had everything we needed, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable bed, and the location could not be better! Salama was very helpful with local suggestions and we loved coming home to the apartment after a long day exploring. Cannot say enough about this pristine, private and altogether perfect home perched on the edge of Lacoste - with a stunning view of Bonnieux across the valley. The home is airy, light, uncluttered and clean - and flows via multiple window’d doorways onto a lovely backyard oasis with a refreshing pool and all of the quiet privacy one could hope for. Our host was helpful every step of the way - and I would (and hope to) return in a heartbeat!

All our communications were with Sandrine, who was very helpful and super responsive. Be aware the accommodation is in a small cluster of houses (village, but no cafes or shops) with narrow streets with two very narrow points between building to negotiate to drop you bags off. Once you drop off, you go back out to an easy to access and secure parking a 2 minute walk from the apartment. So going and coming while you are at the apartment is easy. As you need to go into Aix en P for supplies (15 minutes), I suggest you do a shop on the way there. I recommend La Fabrique a pain (The Bread Factory) for baguettes and croissants as the product is good and they have parking. Sandrine could not have been more helpful or responsive, a lovely person. The apartment was modern, built with quality, and very clean and comfortable.

We had a great time. From our welcome to the day of our departure, we were particularly listened to and accompanied. We found a place to stay that fully meets our expectations. Estelle has been very good tips and always available. Thanks to our hosts.

Lana and Julien were fantastic hosts- very friendly and with great local knowledge to share, but also very discreet. The gite itself had everything you could need for a holiday, the private terrace was nice, but the family was also very generous with the shared outside areas ( pool and sun terrace), which they allowed us to enjoy pretty much in privacy- which we really appreciated. Lots of lovely villages to visit in the area. Highly recommended!

The instructions received by Fanny were clear. Beautiful cottage with a large terrace, clean and super well equipped in an estate with a large pool where everyone finds their place. Also a very large parking lot in the secure estate. A safe bet , we will gladly go back.

Comfortable and very clean house with everything you need for the stay. We got off by train and reached the accommodation by bus. Communication was perfect.

Very friendly welcome from Christelle. Despite a one-time shower issue, Christelle was very responsive and understanding. The apartment is cozy and clean.

Excellent stay at Marc and Laetitia's. This was our 5th stay in Pont-Royal and this is the most beautiful place we have had. Spacious, clean and modern accommodation. On one level, ideal with children. Laetitia gave us a warm welcome. For sure, we will be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay. You have at Airbnb people who only do it for the money and here you see love. We took advantage of the possibility to have breakfast as well and this was also a pleasure. Repeatable

We had a great stay for 7 nights at Pierre-Jean’s chambres d’hôtes in which we had our studio with kitchenette. In this pristine place, we found all the peace and quiet we were looking for. The garden is lush and charming. The pool is grand and always clean. Without being intrusive, Pierre-Jean is always ready to help and give recommendations about great restaurants, routes or vineyards for local wine tasting in the surroundings. Maybe one detail to perfect what can be even more perfected: for longer stays in the chambres d’hôtes, it may be a good idea to bring fresh towels for the bathroom and fresh sheets after a few nights. Nonetheless, this is a small detail and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Merci beaucoup, Pierre-Jean.

Had the best stay here. Easy access to Aix via 260 bus. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. Beautiful, peaceful area. Well appointed apartment. Thank you for a great stay!

A very peaceful, beautiful, and idyllic hotel with a countryside poetry style. Although there are occasional mosquitoes and the tap water has a tint of natural spring water, there are other ways to address them, which doesn't hinder the accommodation experience but rather adds to its charm of being close to nature. The hostess is very warm, hospitable, and possesses a great sense of art and lifestyle. The host took half a day to replace the broken air conditioner in our room, providing us with thoughtful service. The swimming pool is a highlight.
