Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Mendocino County

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The River House. The house is beautifully architected, the property is serene, and we had fun with the games and kayaks on site. Nancy is a gracious and helpful host.

Seamus is the host with the most. He has set the bar high for other hosts! He called to ensure we got checked in ok, had a fire ready to light and a bottle of wine waiting for us. There are clear instructions all throughout the house for how to use amenities and run things. The house is well stocked with everything needed to enjoy the outdoors, cooking, sight seeing info, games, books, binoculars, cozy throw blankets for chilly nights on the deck, even popcorn. The beds and bedding are luxurious. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. By far, the best rental experience for us.

As advertised. Perfect for what we wanted. You must be ok with stairs at entrance, but that was advertised so not a surprise. Very private with fantastic views. Private HOA entrance to beach was very nice.

My family of 5 adults had a wonderful, peaceful stay. A few of us rarely left - it was so nice. Others enjoyed nearby hikes. We all cooked a lot so the well stocked kitchen was great. The home had every pot, pan, utensil we could possibly want, and Surf Market and Gualala Market had everything we needed (including Duck Fat!). The house was warm and cozy (great fireplace, lots of wood, excellent heat) despite all the amazing windows and skylights that looked out on the dripping redwood forest. The hot tub was used repeatedly. Furniture was comfy for readers and we all had a good time binging on favorite shows in the evening. lots of cozy blankets, towels and comfy beds/bedding. When we come again (and we will!), we might throw a few table top task lights in the car (or perhaps they are readily available had we asked) b/c we could have used brighter light for cooking in the kitchen, and activities at the dining room table. All in all, a winner for us!

This home is decorated so beautifully, and the kitchen is very well appointed. They really thought of everything, even providing crab cracking tools! The decor is thoughtfully artistic and eclectic, exactly the vibe I'm looking for when staying in Mendo. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very supportive. The views are incredible. I would absolutely consider renting this place again.

This house is incredible! My husband and I rented the house for 1 week and it has everything you need for your stay! The views are spectacular and the sunsets are just gorgeous! Jon was responsive and very informative. We definitely want to rent this house again! We had an amazing time.

This is a wonderful Airbnb and Angelo was a great host. Loved the location, cleanliness, winery views. The home and rooms have been done up well as shown in the pictures. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

We loved our stay. The master bedroom had an incredible view of the ocean and we loved walking our dog around the property down to the cliffs every morning.

Absolutely incredible view! Comfortable chairs inside and out to get full enjoyment of it. Mary was very friendly, flexible, and responsive to any concerns. We would love to return here in the future.

This was one of the best AirBNB stays I've ever had. The space was large, clean, decorated nicely, and had every imaginable amenity. The instructions for everything were clear and simple. It was a 5-10 minute drive to restaurants and fun things to do. Not one but two parking slots. I didn't interact with Deborah in person at all (which is my preference) so it was totally private. I want to go back already!

I really enjoyed my stay at Carolina’s ! Her place was pretty, pleasant and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. In fact, I had trouble leaving it to go sightseeing! Very convenient to everything. I felt safe with her and in the area as a solo female traveler.

Great spot right on the lake! The place is incredibly spacious and well-equipped. Not walkable to much other than the lake, but very convenient to get places by car. The lake view from the deck was lovely. Honestly was a perfect studio that could be a great for a long term stay too.

A really nice stay in Cloverdale! It's located on the corner of the main road, but the traffic noise was barely noticeable. Great communication all throughout the stay. Since it's a newer AirBnB, I gave a couple of suggestions to help make it even better for next time... and I would definitely stay here again!

I was so comfortable at Linda’s Rosebud Farm! She went way above and beyond, to make sure I had everything I needed. The place has lots of special touches, was cozy and lovely. I was grateful for her place to come home to during a recent move. It felt like a peaceful sanctuary. I enjoyed the view from the deck. I could look out on her cows, her horse and lots of turkeys. Linda herself is a wonderful host and I enjoyed getting to know her!

All I can say is wow, what a perfect stay we had at The Guest Nest! Kerry's place is beautiful, inside and out - spotlessly clean, well thought out, cozy and spacious. Lots of light during the day, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. The views from the windows, porches & garden are amazing, from the garden, to the grounds with the deer grazing, to the ocean. Absolutely fantastic neighborhood as well...Caspar Headlands and Caspar Beach are an easy walk, and they're both gorgeous. Last but certainly not least, Kerry was an amazing host - extremely helpful, kind and communicative. If I ever find myself in the Mendocino area again (which I hope to!), I would absolutely love to stay in The Guest Nest again, just an amazing place/host!
