Vacation rentals in Melton Mowbray

Our stay was excellent. The cottage was immaculate, the photos don’t do it justice. Instructions were great, well equipped and brilliant for our pooches. Excellent location not too long a walk to Rutland Water. Great pub within 100m of the house. All in all a fab stay and would definitely stay again.

this is the 2nd time I have stayed here and I love it. so peaceful and great for a short break away. Chanelle and Steve are responsive and happy to help wherever they can. we love staying here and would recommend. hot tub is a great bonus too! love the Easter touches

Corinne’s place was idyllically situated with beautiful views. The cabin was well equipped although a couple of extra mugs would have been good. Corinne is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful and the welcome goody bag was very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous. Sitting on the decking in the sun looking out across the countryside was beautiful. I would definitely recommend Corinne’s place. Cleaning could have been more thorough. The kitchen area and bathroom were spotless but there was a lot of dust on ledges and lots of cobwebs which was disappointing. The sofa was also repaired with tape and had dodgy springs. This did not spoil our stay but is worth noting.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

We had such a fabulous stay that well and truly exceeded our expectations. This place was the perfect spot for us to kick back, relax, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and re-connect with family. Laura and Ash are such lovely people, perfect hosts, their hospitality went above and beyond and the hot tub was awesome too. I think we've found our new 'bolt hole' when visiting this area again. We will definitely be back!!!

The house really all in one everything was there with a big kitchen space for hangout while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. The hosts were super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The check-in process was seamless, and every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. We’re a family of 5 and were staying at Lesley’s house for our daughter’s graduation. The house was perfect for our multi generations and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying in South Croxton.
