Beachfront vacation rentals in Melicena

We had a fabulous 5 days at Melanie’s apartment. Very much as described. Peaceful location but a few bars and restaurants within easy walking distance as was the beach. We were cycling most days and some great ( and hilly) routes. Parking easy which helped. Pool lovely and very quiet.

Beautiful and clean apartment in a quiet area (we were there in February) with unobstructed views of the mountains (the sea view was minimal). Good to know that the two terraces are both north-facing, so we had no sun at all in February (and that was quite a disappointment for me personally). In the summer that will be nice, I think. The kitchen was well equipped (though a washing machine, but no dishwasher), two large bedrooms and two bathrooms! The communication with Jonathan and Michael was excellent, they responded to questions right away.

Everything is perfect, an apartment with beautiful views, and has all the amenities. Very friendly people. Totally recommended.

Easy to find and Fatima was flexible and helpful with the check in. I didn’t realise there was a lift until I’d carried both suitcases up the two flights of stairs. The apartment was very clean and bright with a lovely view. Very central along the beach in between all the bars and restaurants. I don’t think you can ask for more and we will definitely go back. Thank you again for your hospitality.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for nearly a month. It was home away from home and had everything we needed for a long term stay, namely a dishwasher and washing machine. We picked it predominantly for its location and beautiful garden as we were travelling with our dogs. From the garden you have a beautiful sea view and stunning sunrises. The beach and marina are a short walk. The property is spacious and comfortable having two bathrooms. Natalia is very responsive to any queries raised. Parking was easy and being winter it was lovely and quiet. We hope to return again next winter.

Our stay at Paco and Ana’s apartment in La Rábita was truly perfect! From the very beginning, their attentiveness and quick responses made us feel warmly welcomed and taken care of. The apartment itself was wonderful – newly renovated, and spotlessly clean. The location right in front of the beach added an extra layer of magic to our visit, allowing us to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning views throughout our stay. Even our little dog adored the place, making it feel like home for the whole family. Convenience was also top-notch, with a market, bar, and restaurant all within a 2-minute walk. Paco and Ana’s hospitality and the comfort of their apartment exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely consider staying here again if we return to the area. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very comfortable and very clean, next to supermarkets and several bars for breakfast and lunch and a short walk from the beach, it is definitely a favorite to repeat again.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely two-story apartment right by the beach! The space was incredibly spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The linens and towels were spotless, and the beds were super comfortable—truly felt like home! The location is perfect, with grocery stores and a variety of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, including a playground just a 5-7 minute walk away. The condo grounds were lovely, featuring fountains, tennis courts, and a pool that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Maria, our host, was exceptional. She provided flexible check-in and check-out times and was always quick to respond to our questions. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcomed. We highly recommend staying here while visiting Torrox and the surrounding area. This apartment was definitely the highlight of our trip! Thank you!!

In February, free parking near the apartment Nice shower, two separate shower rooms. Less: For us fine, but if you have difficulty walking, this apartment is just handy due to a lot of stairs inside. Ditto for the couches and chairs. Low plof sofas and only chairs with fixed armrest and fixed backrest. My 79-year-old mother didn't like them. No problem for ourselves. Kitchen equipment could be a little more convenient :) There were a lot of plates, but no breakfast bowls. Plenty of cutlery and cups. One frying pan is not suitable for induction and we tightened the handles of the other pans ourselves. They were loose. Only 1 tea towel and 1 kitchen towel, is a little.

Since I made the reservation I was attended and bian informed of the different details. David's kindness was always manifested. the place was nice, quiet ones called attention to the friendliness of the people. The restaurant with good service and quality of the dishes. Adding that the owner of the restaurant gave us his solidarity to help us if anything needed and did so at the time, showing great kindness for the neighbor. Thank you.Marta.

This was our first time spending a month abroad. It took a long time to find the 'right' property for our stay. We wanted something that had a welcome homely feel as well as a great location and Erlend's place was perfect! The apartment was wonderful. So many thoughtful touches and everything you could need was there. We loved the outside spaces but didn't get to use them as much as we would've liked due to bad weather. On warm sunny days, the terrace would be a perfect place to sit. The views from the apartment were lovely. We found the location to be perfect for us. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the lovely promenade by the sea. I have lung issues & yet managed the hill up to the accommodation every day. The lifts in the complex were very welcome. Erlend also very kindly accommodated a specific request I had & I was very grateful for that. Communication with our host was great Erlend's place felt like a home from home & we would love to come back again soon.

The place is ideal and met all our expectations because we were looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax and unwind, but that was not far from areas and villages to visit. The accommodation is very conveniently located, close to the beach and the promenade. Very clean, tidy and with all the necessary things to make you feel at home. I didn't want to forget our host ANA, friendly, flexible and attentive to our needs.

This is the best Airbnb we have had the pleasure of staying in. Situated in a quiet area, short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. It had an amazing private, spacious terrace which was furnished to a very high standard. This apartment had everything you needed, not one negative thing about it. It was safe, secure and spotlessly clean throughout. Thank you Ramon/wife, who were great hosts. We loved the restaurants that you recommended especially La Viuda, excellent food, service and location! We have had a fantastic month here and would love to return! Thank you so much. We had a wonderfull stay at Maggies beautiful house near the beach with our parents and 2 year old. The house is well equipped with a beautiful view on walking distance to the beach. I can recommend this place.

Gerome’s apartment was in a fantastic location especially if you want a holiday with a mixture of things to do as it was close to a large beach as well as a small cove then just a short walk to the bus station. Here we got buses to Malaga, Granada and local places such as Torrox Costa and Frigilliana which is particularly picturesque. The centre of Nerja close too. The apartment is comfortable and was clean with a nice view from balcony. It was nice and quiet in the eves . The bedrooms did get a little bit warm but had additional fans. We had a really great stay here and recommend thank you!

Amazing views the best we’ve ever experienced from any apartment… !! Really helpful host, Charis is responsive and gave us a great welcome - We spent a month at the apartment, it is well equipped.. with wonderful outdoor furniture - The weather was superb with an morning sunrise and the warm hot sun lighting up the sea scape on the balcony until 2.30pm. We then dropped down to the best sandy beach in La herradura which is just below the apartment, the sea was warm enough to swim in February (like a summers day in the UK) … it was fantastic !!

Lovely apartment which matched the photos. Nice and comfortable with a lot of space. We were out of season so pool closed . Small walk to a dark sand beach with a couple of restaurants. A car is needed to reach supermarket as no shops nearby. A nice quiet stay for us after a 10 day road trip. Thanks

This was the first time as a family that we have used Airbnb and we left feeling greatly relaxed, the area was a little bit out of the tourist part of Malaga, but still had many restaurants and facilities close by that we could use. The facility's pool and balcony let us relax in the warm sun and feel refreshed. We received a welcoming bottle of wine, and the apartment also has the equipment for lounging at the beach.

Rachel's place is a real gem. Love the terrace in front if the sea, views from all rooms & really super comfortable. It's also stylishly decorated & thoughtfully stocked. The location is calm but practical, and there are heaps of restaurants by the sea. There was heaps of parking in winter, but the apartment also has a space if needed. Rachel is a super attentive and friendly host. Cannot recommend her or the apartment enough!

Very nice fresh location. Very spacious and bright, good air conditioning. We especially liked the adjacent terrace and the roof terrace. Also equipped with all comforts: sun loungers, BBQ, umbrella itself, an air mattress and an inflatable tyre for the sea. Swimming pool is also cared for and within walking distance of the beach. Torrox Plage is not too touristy, especially many Spanish tourists, because it makes it authentic. In short: recommended!

The accommodation is in a good location. Carmen is very welcoming.
