Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Dominic describes this accommodation as a ‘Secret Little Eden’—and he’s 100% right. We booked this Airbnb seeking a peaceful retreat after hiking Cradle Mountain, and it exceeded expectations. The location is private, serene, and incredibly relaxing. Once here, the outside world fades away. The house is quirky but clean, spacious, and cozy. At first, the pure sounds of nature feel eerie, but soon, you embrace the tranquility. The spa is perfect for unwinding while enjoying stunning views. At night, possums, pademelons, and swamp hens gather, knowing they’re safe. Stay up for breathtaking stargazing! The bed is incredibly comfortable—leave the blinds up for a sunrise over Mt Roland. Open the windows at night for crisp mountain air, though the swamp hens may provide a startling wake-up call! For a fantastic breakfast and coffee, visit Mountain Mumma Café, just 11 minutes (13.0 km) away.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay💯. Kaye is an exceptional host—very responsive and attentive to her guest’s needs. The space felt like a true home away from home, and offered a quiet and beautiful atmosphere that made my stay incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend staying here🥰

A lovely house to stay in, very comfortable and well equipped. You need a car to get out and about, as Sheffield is a quiet town (particularly on Monday and Tuesdays when several cafes and resturants are shut), but not far from other places.

I loved my stay at Jo's place! Jo was very friendly and welcoming as were her two beautiful little dogs Mimi & Gigi. The studio was completely self contained, it was clean and smart. The shower was excellent, very powerful rainfall type shower. The bed was very comfortable and i slept really well. Loved all the stuff to do a create your own continental style breakfast! Jo had thought of everything. I would love to stay again!

Truly an incredible stay, we only wish we made it longer. The views alongside the creative craftsmanship of the outdoor bath and home felt like true luxury. Such a beautiful and warm place to stay while exploring local hikes and sites including cradle mountain.

The 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 2 night stay. The Coachouse was terrific and generously stocked. We picked Blueberries, Blackberries and Tomatoes very generously encouraged by Stephanie. The walk around Westbury was interesting and a platypus was seen down in the Common wetlands.

Our stay was fantastic. Great spot to stay for a couple of nights while doing things in Launceston. Very central. The breakfast was an added bonus and was just what we needed:)

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

Loved, loved, loved this accommodation and of course the beautiful ou+look. The views of the river and garden are beautiful and we felt totally at home in this beautiful location. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

We had a great time, thank you both for the lovely stay! We were able to visit all the animals, room and amenities were great & so was the provided breakfast. Perfect for a stay to visit Cradle mountain & surroundings.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the eco cabin. We are both interested in design and architecture, so were curious about how the cabin was designed and built. The hot tub was a hit! Countless thoughtful touches throughout the home. Was fab to have some added extra options too - the platter was delicious! The guide was really helpful to give us inspiration on what to do day to day. Em was incredibly friendly and responsive in all our communications. Would highly recommend and wish we'd booked for a longer stay.

The most spectacular view. Outdoor surroundings is second to none. Our kids absolutely loved it. Room decor might not be 100% our style but it’s just a personal thing. House was very clean and great amenities provided.

Everything was magnificent!

A very unique place but you would expect that from a church. It has been beautifully renovated and is not your standard run of the mill hotel room. The only negative is that you have to close the windows at night otherwise you will get swarmed by heaps of bugs lol

Robert the host showed me around the old church and knew some of its history which I really enjoyed. Landscapes artworks throughout the place were really nice to view. Breakfast options great. (The lemon curd yum-yum) Nice herbal tea offered on arrival. Robert seems to know many things to do in the area and has a cosy guesthouse experience with just 6 guests max. Beautiful flower garden he's created too! A great option if you're in the area.

Peter and Susie were the perfect hosts! They were proactive in letting us know that there are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of time to buy our own food (however, they offered to cook us dinner). Peter gave us plenty of local recommendations, insider information, when we arrived and they offered excellent hiking tips for Cradle Mountain. The suite was large and in pristine condition. The bed, linens, and pillows were super comfortable (we loved the heating blanket). Lovely toiletries provided and a nice hot shower. We thought the filtered water tap was a fantastic surprise addition. There was also a kettle and fridge in our room, with our personal supply of coffee and tea. The 2 course breakfast was the cherry on top, absolutely delicious. The only downfall, which should not prevent you from running to stay here, is the shower head being a little low and not having the best pressure.
