House vacation rentals in McDowell County

Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

We Had a very good experience staying here as a group of 11 planty of room cozy house hot tub felt great after a whole day or riding the trails.

Randy was an amazing host and everything was exactly as expected. Everything from our greeting to our departure was simply amazing. Our every need was met and we will most definitely be returning.

Host was easy to work with and responsive. If you are looking for a place to stay to ride the HMT, this is it. Well set up house, wash station, plenty of parking for trailers, easy access to almost all of the trail systems and access to the Outlaw trails. And a pool to relax in after a day riding! This will be our go to place for HMT trips!

For large accommodations this is the place to go. Couple of local gems for restaurants that had amazing food. For our large group of 18 including 7 SXS we had plenty of room in the house and parking. Would definitely recommend and we will probably re-book!

Great location to the trails. Has everything you need. Lots of kitchen items. Hose outside to spray off machines. Comfy beds and plenty of room. Responded right away with last minute questions. I would stay here again!

David was an excellent host. He was quick to reply to all questions and was so polite every time we reached out.

Always a great time at Betty & Johnny’s place. We have all we need and quick access to the trails!

Rick and Mary are incredible host. They accommodated my group and communicated every step of the way. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed for our stay.

Excellent place to stay. It’s quiet and not far to store and gas stations. Close to the trials and outlaw trials to ride on. The place was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

I could've sat on that back porch on in the back yard my whole stay and been happy as a clam listening to the creek down below. The climb down to the creek was worth it too, as my first day I did so and thoroughly enjoyed taking off my socks and shoes and sticking my feet in the cool mountain waters. The rocks on the shore of the creek were easy to move and several made great seats for just that purpose. The front enclosed porch made a perfect mud room that was perfect for us to kick off our muddy gear when we were done riding the trails for the day, and it was super easy to clean up once we sadly had to leave to head back to reality. This house truly did offer a slice of heaven and a welcome reprieve from our hectic lives back home. Thank you Debbie and Wayne for sharing.

Place was awesome for a small or big croud. Location to the warrior trails, and Hatfield trails was perfect, the house had everything we needed and plenty of parking, would definitely stay here again.

The stay was perfect for the amount of people we needed to accommodate. They have lists inside of places to visit and places to eat. We really liked the clear instructions on how to access the HMT.

The place was great. We had easy access to trails in Indian ridge, Pinnacle, and Pocahontas. We didnt have time to try our warrior. We will definitely be back again!

The Outlaw Lodge was very spacious with plenty of clean and VERY comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast before a full day of riding. The huge table is fantastic and the kids loved louging on the couch when we were in the house. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in. We would love to stay here again if we head to that part of WV in the future.
