Vacation rentals with a patio in Matakana

Very tidy apartment in a great location. The car parking on the premise feels very secure, however it's worth noting it is a car stacker with a maximum car size of 5m long × 1.8m height. Once the car is stored, getting items from it could be a pain so I would definitely encourage guests to remove everything they will need for their stay before storing the vehicle. Great value, thanks!

The locations were wonderful, and having the AT Card made our travels around Auckland by bus so convenient. We only needed to top up the fees on the card, which was a breeze. The house owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming, fostering a warm and comfortable environment that truly made us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Our host was the BEST. Great location, close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The apartment was very clean, with washer and dryer, wifi, and a pop up dining experience, in a park a block away. We had a great time.

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

The place was in an excellent location close to places to eat and supermarket. Walkable to the things we wanted to do in the city. Great communication and Cannelle was super helpful.

So quiet and so central, a perfect place to discover Auckland! Perfectly equipped and very secure. Lot of fans provided to keep you cool in summer. Pam was easy to contact and has been very accommodating.

We had a great stay at Leon & Alex's place. The place was nice and clean and good location for us to visit family. Fantastic hosts and great place, would highly recommend!

We loved this beautiful home in St Hiliers, Auckland. It was the perfect end to our busy holiday. A chance to relax and slow down in a relaxing coastal part of Auckland. Best of all, the host responds to any communication quickly, and is kind and understanding of children. She is very accommodating and makes the house feel Homely.We would definitely recommend this place to stay! It was fantastic and had everything we needed.

Lisa’s home is amazing! So well appointed, room for a large family group and the pool and spa were very welcome additions. Lisa was an amazing host, friendly and responsive. We were greeted with a box of chocolates which was just one of the small touches that made the stay such a great one. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in the greater Auckland area. Great stay at Winnie’s place in remuera - plenty of space for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids). Nice and quiet area but handy to Auckland activities. Winnie was a proactive and responsive host. Highly recommended!

My family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a small dog were so comfortable at Dominic's home. The place was clean and spacious, with great views and a all around comfortable environment. Especially with 6 adults about. There was plenty of places to sneak away and read a book or take a nap from everyone else if required. The downstairs Rumpus room was a great addition with it's Ping-Pong table and dart board. Most afternoons after a day at the beach we found ourselves downstairs enjoying a game of dart and ping-pong. We couldn't of been more comfortable. Thanks Dominic

We stayed at Lyndal’s home to attend a Coldplay concert at Eden Stadium. The home is only a 5 minute walk away which made it perfectly located. The Kingsland area has many, many restaurants and with the train station only 500 metres away everything in Auckland is well within reach. We loved everything about our stay here.

Kieran was an amazing and thoughful host. His house is well kitted out with everything you would need for a relaxing stay and more. Beds are really comfy, everything from appliances to decor is really nice and the coffee machine, spa and sauna add a touch of luxury to any getaway. Location is really close to some lovely walks along the estuary and a short work to the beach. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this home for sure. Thanks Kieran!

We had a wonderful stay at Jon’s place. Jon made the effort to meet us and show us around the property. There was also a lovely welcome basket of wee treats which was very thoughtful. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The location is central to everything and our kids especially loved Vic Park across the road with the skate park! Would love to stay again 😊

The view, the view, the view. We could have spent our whole time sitting on the patio looking at the view. Very centrally located and easily walkable to many restaurants, stores, and attractions. Beds are on the firmer side. Nice to have a bathtub and the extra space (more than what you would get in a hotel). Would definitely stay again.

Linley's apartment was perfect! A beautifully setup place to relax in which had everything you needed, even down to a portacot for our little one. There a as also a swimming pool, spa and a carpark available. A quick walk to lovely cafes, and the Viaduct and downtown CBD. Just a perfect location! Linley was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and we would most definitely recommend a stay at this awesome air bnb. Thanks so much for everything Linley, and also to Karin! 🙂

We had a great 3-day stay at Nick's place and would be happy to stay here again. The private balcony is clearly the star of the show with its garden, grill, jacuzzi ("spa pool" in Kiwi-speak), and Sky Tower view. The condo is in a great location (I recommend the Grey Lynn butcher shop to make best use of Nick's grill) while still being quiet & private. And Nick himself is easily among the best Airbnb hosts I've interacted with –– he went above & beyond to make sure that check in & check out were at times that made sense for us, he's got a great sense of humor ("humour" in Kiwi-speak), and generally speaking he seemed to genuinely care that we had a fun experience.

I selected this apartment because of it’s location and because it has a gym. If you’re an athlete, the best part of the gym is the weight machine and the fact that it’s hardly used by anyone before 8:30am.

I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone and I will be checking Monica's Airbnb for all my future stays in Auckland. The location was amazing with views of the viaduct and walking distance to amazing restaurants and cafes. A beautiful rooftop garden to add some privacy and elegance to the stay and a wonderful balcony to relax on with a coffee. Monica was incredibly helpful and was super responsive.
