Vacation rentals with a patio in Matakana

Great experience staying at Richard’s place. It’s located in the heart of Albany that is easy to access motorway, bus station, shopping mall and restaurants. This place is cozy and has everything we needed. Richard is super responsive too! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for an Airbnb in this area.

Beautiful apartment overlooking the marina. The check in videos and pictures provided were super helpful, we would not have been able to figure out parking without them. The hot tub outside is amazing! Plenty of good restaurants and things to do within walking distance. This place has everything you need for a cozy stay. Watch out for the cruise ships as they are leaving, their departure horns are jarring but in a fun way. The host is very responsive and provides great recommendations! Would definitely stay here again.

Naomi's hosting was excellent being proactive, clear and responsive. The apartment is as photographed and our week long stay was very well supported by the quality amenities listed. Thanks to Naomi for providing us with milk and coffee pods. Access to onsite parking, city attractions, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance, or a short drive away proved we made the best choice for our stay. Naomi's apartment is great for couples on holiday needing a central base to explore Auckland and surrounds from. Quality bed, linen, shower pressure and Sky Sports to stay current with the NRL season was very much appreciated!

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

A decent sized studio in a great location. Communication from Cannelle was great, she was responsive and gave us a late check out. No air con but it wasn't too bad at this time of the year.

My two sisters and I had a great stay. The unit is light, sunny and had everything we needed. Very good walking distance to the Viaduct area and downtown Auckland. It was lovely sitting on the wee balcony in the morning and evening, with the Harbour bridge lit up in the distance. Pam left good information, and responded immediately with helpful advice to the only question we had. This was an excellent spot to base ourselves for a weekend in the city, we would come again.

The house was very clean and the location was incredibly convenient! The host was amazing — knowing that we had a little baby, they thoughtfully provided a high chair and a baby cot. On the day we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh apples and bananas on the coffee table, and a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge! There was even a first aid kit in the room, showing just how much care the host puts into making guests feel at home. Our family of three had a wonderful ten-night stay here. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this apartment during our stay. It was centrally located and easy to get around the CBD area, and the parking across the street was seldom full, so we didn't have to stress about parking our rental. The beds were comfortable and we would happily stay here again!

The house was perfect for two couples! It was nice that they had lots of kitchen items to use as we cooked a few meals there. The bed in the main house was very comfortable but the other couple mentioned the mattress was a little soft in the stay away. The water pressure and temperature were amazing in both bathrooms. It was a short walk down to the beach. There's a few restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Susan was always responsive and helpful!

This is a great spot in Orewa. A gorgeous upstairs patio/balcony off the living room has an uplifting view with the sun all day and the sunset. The house is on two levels - spacious and well-stocked. Amanda is super-friendly - and she gave us lots of good local recommendations - and responsive. The beach is a short walk, and Orewa town is a bit further, so we drove most days - 5 minutes max by car. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay , Dan left a porta cot for my baby in the room which was so convenient for myself as I didn’t have to lug mine around for my trip , house was tidy and spacious , quiet neighbourhood , great communications would definately stay again

A very spacious home, easy to find and instructions clear to access the property. This place had an awesome view and suited our group of 4 very well.

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous location--minutes from the beach and marina AND minutes to walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Also very well located to get to other North Shore beaches as well as downtown Auckland. Huge house with 4 great bedrooms and 3 great baths--big kitchen and 3 dining areas, counting outside picnic table. Amy was responsive to all our questions and requests.

I had a fantastic stay and the house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation. One of the best parts was its convenient location just a short walk to Albany Village, where you can find shops and cafes. The kitchen was fully usable, which made it easy to prepare meals during my stay. The host was very friendly and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with great amenities, I highly recommend this place!

We had an excellent long term stay at Kieran’s house in Orewa, would definitely stay there again. The property is conveniently located for both walking and driving to the beach/downtown Orewa and points North/South, and the house had everything we needed for it to feel like a home away from home for 3 months. To top it all off, Kieran is an awesome host — always responsive and helpful whenever any questions came up, and it really felt like he went that extra mile to make our stay a great one.

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Linley's apartment was perfect! A beautifully setup place to relax in which had everything you needed, even down to a portacot for our little one. There a as also a swimming pool, spa and a carpark available. A quick walk to lovely cafes, and the Viaduct and downtown CBD. Just a perfect location! Linley was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and we would most definitely recommend a stay at this awesome air bnb. Thanks so much for everything Linley, and also to Karin! 🙂

Repeat Customer This is just a very special place. We have stayed here multiple times. It feels like our home away from home. It’s just very unique to be in a very private building right in the middle of a fantastic beach town on what is probably the best urban beach in New Zealand. You will love it!

I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone and I will be checking Monica's Airbnb for all my future stays in Auckland. The location was amazing with views of the viaduct and walking distance to amazing restaurants and cafes. A beautiful rooftop garden to add some privacy and elegance to the stay and a wonderful balcony to relax on with a coffee. Monica was incredibly helpful and was super responsive.

A perfect spot! The view is breathtaking, the space is large and comfortable, and the deck is to-die-for. The local restaurant recommendations were much appreciated, and the direct access down to the coastal trail was great fun. We walked along the coast trail to dinner at a restaurant recommended by our hosts and it was perfection. I loved sleeping with the sound of the waves and waking up to spectacular views of Rangitoto. Lovely!!

Loved how child friendly the accomodation was with all the things you’d need for a baby. So grateful to use the car charger too. Crystal was a great host as well!
