Cottage vacation rentals in Massif Central

A very nice house and very well-equipped! an absolutely fantastic "wellness" space! we had a great weekend with friends, and what a pleasure to be able to bring our dogs with us to this pretty corner of Corrèze! we'll be happy to go back!

A beautifully designed, recently renovated, and well-equipped gite in a peaceful location just a few miles outside the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. The house is very comfortable and the hot tub is a very welcome bonus. Joël and Pascale could not be better hosts - they are so friendly and very happy to chat, but they also respected our privacy. They are very generous with gifts of food and drink, and very relaxed and understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

I highly recommend this location. Jean-Paul was very welcoming and responsive. The little house is in nature while being close to the owner who can intervene quickly if needed. Close to hiking trails and in the countryside. The best part is of course the hot tub that is waiting for you at 37°. Thanks to Sophie and Jean-Paul.

Travel with friends with our kids. The place was spotless, very relaxing, and refreshing. The + 2 pools and hot tub (small downside for the screen that made its own). Attention provide salt, pepper, soap etc because contrary to what is indicated it is not available... Very responsive hosts before and during the stay. We just wish the guidelines were that the guidelines weren't as much guidance. We understand that there are rules to follow but we had the impression on several occasions of being treated like children and it's a bit of a shame because we are also there to enjoy the stay while knowing how to respect the place. I highly recommend this listing!

Jenny and her place were a delight. Ever helpful and attentive when needed we enjoyed our time in the area and with helpful suggestions from Jenny gave us the time and space to unwind and spend time in the Dordogne. The weather wasn't always that good so less comments about the outdoor space than we might have wanted to offer though they did look as they do in the photos. We recommend Jenny and Fleur's place to anyone visiting the area.

A just perfect cottage! The house and garden are very pleasant. The view is superb, the hot tub is a pleasure. The hamlet is very quiet, while being close to the villages. The place is perfect for young kids, between the garden, cows and horses. Finally, Agnès and Benoît are adorable hosts, discreet while being present, attentive and very kind. The house is both practical aesthetic and warm in the heart of a green and refreshing nature close to must-see places of visits, Brive Tulle and especially Collonges for the cities and Aubazine with its canal des monks, unforgettable walk and the waterfalls of Gimel, impressive. Natalie and Patrick were great hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. They were on hand if you needed them but not intrusive. The Gite was lovely, clean, comfortable and has been lovingly restored. Everything in the Gite was of the highest quality. The Gite has fabulous views and the surrounding area is beautiful. In fact the Dordogne generally is stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay and no doubt will return.

We spent a night at Evelyne's place, everything was very good, arrived a little late, Evelyne was waiting for us with a smile! The setting is beautiful and the house is very well equipped. We recommend;)

We had a wonderful stay in Stéphane's beautiful home, a warm and welcoming place that offered us an enchanted break. Communication with Stéphane was simple and fluid, making it easy to organize our visit. Stéphane was very accommodating, available and attentive to our needs. The region also won us over: a beautiful countryside, sublimated by the colors of autumn, ideal to unwind. To be redone!

Nathalie's house is a gem nestled on a hillside, with a heavenly view. In the morning it is a sea of cloud that wakes us up, and in the evening we are accompanied by a magnificent sunset. The environment is peaceful, and conducive to rest and relaxation. The barn has been beautifully renovated with all the comforts you need, and is a 5-minute drive from Argentat where you can find all the shops and restaurants. The bedding is of very good quality, and the house is very well equipped. We were hosted very well by Jean-Jacques, who took the time to explain everything we needed to know. After our week-long stay, we obviously recommend Nathalie and Jean-Jacques' house, and we will be happy to come back.

I had a great time, it's a real breath of fresh air. The setting is very nice and the accommodation is charming as shown in the photos. I recommend it!

Beautiful home in a wooded quiet area. Beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog really enjoyed it here and so did we! Louise is very sweet to animals and friendly and hospitable to people. Upon arrival there were snacks for our dog and a surprise for us! Top location!

We had a great time at the cottage. It's a very quiet place. Our grandson came to visit us and saw his first sheep and first chickens! We will keep very good memories of our stay.

Great welcome from Anais, location one km from the heart of gourdon and yet very wild, charming place and very nice host. It feels like home. Full of cooking supplies, a big plus for me. Easy to use fire heating with character. Recommends without hesitation

The house is very beautiful, quiet and very well-equipped. The wood burning stove is a real plus during the cool seasons. The small living room in the back with its veranda is much appreciated. Keep an eye out for the rather slippery terrace. And there is a downside on the rate of electricity that is charged. There should be a change of supplier contract ^^

They are great and caring! You can go dark without a second thought, the house is clean, warm and relaxing. The village is very quiet and the view from the garden is amazing, it feels really good! 😍 There are many activities nearby and great restaurants. We loved this trip, thank you for this weekend! 🤗

Successful vacations in this cottage where calm and tranquility reign. The house and equipment are suitable for 4 people. A few kilometers away, SALVIAC and GOURDON offer all the necessary amenities. We had a favorite in the photo for the inner courtyard but we preferred the small space in front of the house where the view is unobstructed and beautiful. We had a few warm days but following Françoise's recommendations, everything went well. Thank you, Françoise, for your sympathy and responsiveness.
