Unlike anything I have ever seen! My husband and I decided to go to Vermont to elope and we were looking for a unique place to stay within an hour distance. We weren’t able to arrive to the property until late, but John was very patient and let us in with a smile. The space itself was very clean and put together nicely. The sleeping arrangements were so comfortable that we overslept! We will be staying here again. Thanks John!

We have stayed at the Sheep Barn several times now and love the cozy atmosphere. The wood was stocked inside for the woodstove and ready to go. A perfect place to relax and unwind!

You can tell that Diana has put her heart and soul into this cozy, hidden gem. If you love a cozy cabin feel, you will love this Airbnb. The open loft concept was cute and unique, string lights adding a tone of soft, cottage core romanticism, and perhaps the best feature of the space, a mini split for temperature control. 10/10 would visit again.

Kaedra has a beautiful place with great energy. The loft is a very cozy, comfortable, and welcoming space. The area is peaceful, so great if you want a chill, laid back weekend like we did. She’s super responsive, helpful and was very kind all weekend.

Jessica was an amazing host! I’ve been talking with Jessica for about nine months in preparation of coming to stay here for my stepdaughter‘s wedding. She was so helpful so flexible she’s very informative. She loves living here, which makes it so much better to enjoy because she has so much knowledge about the island . The Property was beautiful andamazing! She’s an amazing host extremely hospitable and makes you feel so welcome. We will be coming back!

Great location with great restaurants nearby. Easy drive to local train station to enjoy other attractions in the area. Jayne was super responsive when I did reach out, but everything was so laid out, I didn’t need to contact her much. Wish we had more time to actually spend hanging at the farm.

Just had a great stay in Great Barrington. Enjoyed the house and all of its amenities. Location was great, close to great restaurants, hiking and skiing. Would recommend this property and our host!!

I stayed with friends for the September Brimfield Antiques Faire and had an incredible time. If you’re coming for the show, this place is a great option—the drive to Brimfield is about 30 minutes, but very easy and straightforward, and the Threadbare clothing and textiles show is only a few minutes’ drive down the main road. Monica was a great host and responded to our messages very quickly, bringing us things we requested and giving helpful instructions as needed. She keeps the place stocked with books, cassettes, games, etc. You can tell she put thought and care into making a great space for entertaining. The barn was bigger and nicer than expected based on the great price, and though the “bedrooms” were all connected, we each felt we had our own space and were able to decompress and sleep easily. The kitchen was stocked with most of what we needed to make our meals at home, and we had more than enough towels and bedding for all of us. I would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful place, spectacular views and a peaceful location. Not far from Great Barrington with views of the mountains from many rooms. The renovated barn (feels newly built) is near skiing, hiking, Great Barrington shopping and wonderful restaurants. —something for everyone. The kitchen seems to have been built for a professional chef. It is large, in pristine condition, and has everything you need to prepare meals. Very impressive! Also, there is a wonderful large bathtub for guests to enjoy the calm of the Berkshires, soak after skiing or relax after a long drive. All the bedrooms are of good size with plenty of room to move about. No bedroom is small which is terrific for an adult group. Definitely, a positive and differentiating feature. The living area space is open and is inviting. Stella was absolutely lovely and a most gracious host. All communication was very easy. A fabulous stay; we will definitely return! I could not recommend more highly.

Very basic room with a phenomenal location. Ptown vibes. If you’d like a little more privacy, you might want to explore options but for me this was perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for better. Great memories here

The Wood Turtle Woods Barn is a very sweet and hip place. Beautiful location on an expansive field and near the river, with views from many places within the barn. It has a fun decorative style, and all the amenities one might need. Mike was a warm and communicative host. My partner and I enjoyed a quiet getaway here, and recommend this as a place to stay.

Roberta might be the best Airbnb host I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve been at quite a few airbnbs. The place is perfect. Well located in the middle of Lenox. Comfortable, well appointed, and stocked with essentials. She’s so nice and is very easy to reach. The croissants and a nice touch but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I can’t say enough about Roberta and the time I spent with my brother at her home.

Used the barn as a writing retreat for finishing up the last chapters of my thesis. The space was even bigger and nicer than I expected! Such a cool unique place to stay and enjoy some piece and quiet. Some things to keep in mind are that you wont be cooking any grand meals while you are there as the kitchenette doesn't have a stove top. There is a grill, but it was too cold out for me to bother with that. There is also another house on the property that is several feet from the barn, so it's not completely isolated, although no one was staying at the house when I was there. Jaryn was a FANTASTIC host. Perhaps my best experience with an Airbnb host so far. Super responsive to any of my questions and was eager to make things right when there was some unexpected construction at the house next door one of the days I was there. I hope to come back and stay here again one day - perhaps when it is warmer out and I don't have a thesis deadline to worry about!

We’ve stayed at Trice, Evan, and Daniel’s place many times before and have always enjoyed our stay—this time was no different. The house was perfect for our family of four. We had everything we needed for the long weekend and enjoyed being able to walk to Main St. We had a lovely stay and they were the perfect hosts—they even cleaned snow off our car and made sure we’re able to get out of their driveway! Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay! The directions were very clear and the place was very easy to find. The Airbnb was clean and super homey, with a lot of really thoughtful touches. Clear directions for entry and all appliances, heat, etc. (We love when hosts make use of a label maker!!) Good location to get over to Hadley/Amherst area. During our stay, we visited the Eric Carle Museum and Flayvors (despite it hitting 5° during our trip!) Perfect dining room table to break out some games! Kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of breakfasts, and the coffee maker was super easy to use.

We had a wonderful 2 day work retreat!! Plenty of space for work colleagues to spread out but many options for us to be together! It was wonderful!

Had a great weekend here! The location is perfect, we had such a great time at the pool that we never left. The house was exactly how it is in pictures, and it’s the most fully stocked airbnb I’ve stayed in. It has everything you need! The beds were really comfortable too, that’s rare. The backyard was perfect for grilling and hanging out with family.

What can my wife and I say about Jo Leal and John and their sweet carriage house. Every detail in the house showed such care, such attention, and such beauty. Nothing could have prepared us for the experience of spending time in this charming house , and more notably, nothing could have prepared us for the wonderful experience we shared with Jo Leal and John. We so look forward to our next visit and the continuation of this experience.

My stay at this small farm was fabulous! I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed it, and how relaxing being on the property is. The unit was very clean, large, and as pictured. You feel right at home the moment you walk in, and are greeted with a nice assortment of treats. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and very responsive if you have a question. This little farm is in the perfect location. You can drive in any direction on easy roads and be at the various attractions the Berkshires offer, and then when you are done dealing with all the tourists, you come back to tranquility and peacefulness. The horses are wonderful, and I already miss my morning greetings by them when I would take my dog for a walk on the property. I had a couple friends and family come visit me during my 4-week stay, and they were all blown away with this place and loved their time with me. Kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of outlets, internet was fast, and having YouTube TV was great.

My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend and had the most amazing time! The Airbnb is clean, homey and cozy. It is well equipped with anything and everything you need for your stay. And so clean - which is so important to me. The staff takes such great care of the animals and their guests. We can't wait to come back!
