Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Mason County

My friends and I love to get out of the city and hang out at this cabin. We love the pool and sauna and we spend majority of the time on the front porch enjoying the peaceful energy and beautiful surroundings. The cabin is always clean and well stocked with necessities. It is decorated thoughtfully and the bedrooms and beds are huge and amazingly comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The solitude was awesome and refreshing. The home was amazing. The view and quiet was a welcome change to where I usually stay during work. I will be inquiring about this property next year.

I was absolutely happy with our stay. Me and my mom traveled from out of town to come see the Mothman museum at Point Pleasant, across the river. We used google maps with the destination “River’s Edge Bed and Breakfast” and found it easily. The cabin sways ever so slightly because of the stilts, but I felt completely safe. It’s a bi-product of having something off the ground, but it made the view so much better. Each morning we were delivered what we requested at the time we asked, and the food was delicious. A wide variety of selection, and plenty of time to make a choice. The porch out to the water was by far my favorite feature of the stay. We even saw a beaver one morning while having breakfast, it was an amazing experience. Our host Rebecca was also so kind and responsive, I had asked about a lighter for the candles around 9:00pm expecting an answer the next morning, had one within 10minutes! Can’t recommend staying here enough. Felt safe and comfy, with a gorgeous view!

This vacation rental was even better than in the photos. Lots of small informationals if you like looking for them. Easy to follow instructions on getting in and out of there. Although we arrived in the dark due to a hiccup the property was still easy to find. Often being greeted by the local kitty who will try following you into the house. View of the Ohio River and the passing barges was a very relaxing part of the trip! Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved staying at Cherie’s cabin. It’s well appointed, but my favorite thing about my stay was just how beautiful and peaceful it is. It was just so relaxing and you’ll probably have some pleasant wildlife sightings. It seems that there is a deer crossing just at the end of the driveway to the cabin as I saw two run across there just as I was arriving the first day. I also saw them crossing the following mornings. I was also surprised one morning by three tiny woodpeckers pecking at the outside of the cabin. You will also want to make sure to wake up early so to not miss the lovely sunrise from the comfort of your bed! I regret that I did not have the time to enjoy the wonderful fire pit area. It comes complete with all the firewood you would ever need! The cabin is also solar powered with more than enough power to keep things going, and there is an on-demand water heater. These things make this such a self-sustainable & environmentally friendly stay.

This is THE best places I have stayed at hotel or private residence alike it was so peaceful and beautiful there were so many birds and wildlife the view from the back porch was so beautiful my girlfriend and I stayed here for one last device free weekend before we became parents and it was exactly what we wanted a secluded cabin to sit relax talk and connect I can not recommend this place enough also not to mention how the mattress did wonders for our backs

We were there for a concert at the Court Grill. We were just a few short footsteps away. I personally live on the Ohio River so I knew the view. The building is classic River Town. As we were looking out the window just about dusk a Tow and Barge go by ( cue the boat LOL!). The facility is right downtown and well placed to shopping and eating. The town of Pomeroy has a charm of it's own and the people are friendly and helpful. Jeff

What a peaceful 💎 gem!! Loved being so close to Mills Creek and all the surrounding nature. The space felt safe which is important especially when I travel alone. The inside was well appointed, up to date, and impressive. There was plenty of seating and space, including outdoors. I look forward to returning!
