Amazing propriety ! We were a family with 2 kids and a baby. Gitsa Havansa was perfect for us with a fully equiped kitchen to cook for the kids and boil water for the baby’s formula. The kids room was close to ours, the had their own washroom. Pool is amazing for kids to play with many toys and relaxing (infinity pool with seated area to take a drink and read). Many long chairs ans hamacs. Access to the warm lake, smooth rock « beach », 3 kayaks, possible to fish from the lake. Communal dinning area for the included breakfast wich is nice to meet new travelers and exchange. Suite/rooms each have their own private space. Quiet. By car Approx. 25-30 min from Granada/Masaya Volcano/Masqya craft market, 20 min from Catarina Mirador/Nindiri Dinosaur Park, 45 min from Mombacho, 1h from Chocoyeque El Brujo Canyon. We also stayed in the Serendipia suite also amazing with private pool, terasse with a wonderfull view, TV, A/C in the room. Perfect paradise! Highly recommand !

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at!! The view is absolutely stunning, the entire home is so comfortable. Watching the sun go down, hearing the animal sounds into the night was truly paradise. The lake is just a few steps away, the water is clean & clear—I went swimming multiple days. Todd went truly above and beyond as a host to make recommendations and check in during my style. He gave tips on where to go throughout Nicaragua and arranged our taxis and tours. Appreciated that there’s day and night security on site, I felt safe here. There’s also clean water from the faucets, being able to drink clean water is such a luxury. There several cafes that are walking distance. The only hiccup is one night our power went out. There was a loud beeping noise in my room (happens when the wifi is out) Being in a third world country power outages can happen. Luckily, the power came back within a couple hours! Such an idyllic stay, the perfect entry to Nicaragua.

This was a great stay! The location/view is absolutely breathtaking! It was awesome being able to share fresh breakfast at the Rancho with the other guests-both because the food was delicious (again the view of the lake over coffee 😊) and getting to mingle with others. The only thing missing was the hot water but honestly with the Nicaragua heat, I didn't really miss it in hindsight. Keep in mind you are in nature so you may come across a creature or 2, but the staff was helpful there (and I hope enjoyed a laugh on my behalf. Spiders are not my friend 😂). The dogs were definitely the icing on the cake! They are gentle giants and came to greet me most mornings. Add to that, being able to take a kayak out at my leisure or just taking a dip in the lake to cool off. So many reasons to love this place!

Benjamin was so informative and friendly from the off. He is passionate about where he lives and the culture he lived in and is very informative and approachable and lovely to just have a blether with. His place is a peaceful oasis you can switch off. His garden goes right down the lake side. We used his kayaks and had breakfast on the lake. His garden is shared but has lots of little nooks and crannies you would never know anyone else is there. The casita is super comfy and the only thing that wakens you are the howler monkeys. You could stay with out transport but best with a car or moto. Lots of places to explore …we were too chilled here to do much. Thanks again x

This was an incredibly beautiful place, brimming with warmth and love. It was home to a variety of animals, including the lovable dogs Pablo and Wilma, who brought even more joy to the atmosphere. Thank you!

A little paradise, so lovely and quiet: all you here are the sounds of nature :-) The house is beautiful with the best panorama: the laguna ❤️ The room is big, light and with a beautiful view as well! Mary and Brian are true sweethearts and love to interact with you. Lovely Fritz is adorable. And don’t forget the swimming pool, great to cool off . Thanks for having me!

The place is amazing, however it gets a little bumpy one mile before you get to the house, a small car won’t ever make it, if you thinking to get there at night I would recommend that you don’t because the last mile it’s very narrow and very dark. Other than that the place it’s amazing and the care takers are amazing people. Pablo is very responsive and was always available.

This a hideaway its a must visit highly recommend this property very peaceful and room a very spacious!!!! 10/10
