Cabin vacation rentals in Marlborough District

We spent a lovely night at the Nest after cycling part of the Tasman Great Taste Trail. It was great to relax in the hut tub looking up at the stars. Lloyd was really clear in his directions and very friendly and helpful when we arrived. Highly recommend the nest for some relaxing off grid downtime.

We had a great night in the pioneer cabin. Lisa and Andy have an amazing property with plenty of activities and places to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend staying here, and we'll definitely be back!

This is such a great find and well worth the money. A little slice of heaven that is still close to lots of other areas, wish we could have stayed longer. Jude was very welcoming and we appreciated them letting us stay at the creekside cabin when it is normally only for one person.

We had an amazing stay at this rustic homestead! No matter where you looked, the views were absolutely stunning. Annemieke and Andrew were exceptional hosts who made us feel so welcomed and at home. I highly recommend joining them for meals; the food was fresh, delicious, and straight from their garden, accompanied by wonderful conversation. The property is full of life with chickens, ducks, goats, cows, and two very loving and cuddly cats. They even offered great advice for growing fruits and vegetables! This place truly felt like a home away from home. I can't recommend it enough, I would give 100+ stars if I could!

All the simple comforts of home in a convenient location! Great price point and just down the road from the main street, easy to get to and had all the little things one might need- especially the fully equipped kitchen.

Great place to stay overnight before getting the Picton ferry. Easy check in, great hospitality and really convenient location for what we needed!

The cabin is ideal for a short stay, it's a lovely location with the waterfront at the end of the garden. David was very generous, he provided a bottle of wine, milk, a box of cereal and more... I have stayed in many holiday apartments and never had so many extras before. I recommend the place to everyone.

I loved staying in the very cute adult dollhouse. It was as adorable in person as the pictures portrayed. The gardens are beautiful and smell so wonderful. The bed was very comfy. The location is very close to a Woolsworths and the Main Street for shops and restaurants, but you get to enjoy the quiet of a neighborhood setting. I was traveling by bus and they offered rides for my arrival and departure although I didn’t take them up on it. Peter and Heather are very genuine and generous hosts. Very responsive to questions. I very much enjoyed my two day stay with them.

Angie’s place is absolutely beautiful, and a great spot to stay when visiting Abel Tasman. The cabin is brand new, surrounded by nature and a totally peaceful environment. Above all, Angie is a very responsive, respectful, and kind host.

We had a wonderful two nights at warren’s place in Tata beach. It is a great kiwi bach, from which to enjoy the stunning beauty of tata bay after all the day visitors have left ! Everything we needed for a comfortable, easy couple of days. The kayak in the garage was a massive bonus for us. Thank you

To say this location is magical is an understatement. Just a superb experience in one of the Sounds' most beautiful locations. The other reviews are accurate in describing the cottage as exceeding expectations. We were lucky with the weather and water temperatures for swimming were perfect, but we could imagine that even on the rainiest of days it would be a place to enjoy, both inside and out. Thanks to the hosts for sharing this place with us, we can't wait to be back.

The perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere small, simple, and peaceful. Had a lovely walk back into town through the community garden. Communication was great and was very good value for money. Highly recommend!

I'm still on a high after the most magical five days of walking, swimming, reading and unplugging! I cannot rate this place highly enough and it provided the perfect get-away from the hurly burly of life. The Nydia Track was explored on a daily basis for hours in every direction, followed by a swim off the pier and then an afternoon of mooching and reading. Rinse and repeat again in the late afternoon. Absolute heaven! Thank you to my lovely hosts, Marty & Sabine. Kaffee und kuchen was an absolute treat on our last afternoon making the whole experience perfect. Now just have to work out what dates we can return next year!

This cute little cabin is in a great location - close enough to Nelson and all it offers but near enough to the Abel Tasman area for hiking. It was peaceful and private and had all we needed and Marsha and Ava were very helpful

Beautiful room to stay in and comfy big bed really friendly hosts and very responsive too. If you are looking for a cool place to clamp this is it. The horses are so gorgeous!!!

This is such a special place and Jayne and William are so generous to share it. My partner and I stayed for three nights at the end our New Zealand travels and it was the perfect cap to a long adventure. The cabin is the perfect way to experience the Queen Charlotte Sound and Jayne and William are terrific hosts. We were especially appreciative of how peaceful the space is, the views of the inlet from the cabin, the outdoor facilities (i.e., kitchen and shower), kayaking/fishing, and the amazing stars at night. Highly recommended.
