Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Marathon

I love booking at Jean & Richard’s. It’s always an excellent stay. I love the cozy corners to find reprieve. The kitchen is excellent, beds are comfortable, the gardens are peaceful, and the decor is so cool. A must stay in Alpine.

The Yucca suite is a spacious one bedroom near downtown Alpine. You can easily walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops from the house. There are also hiking trails just up the road at Sul Ross University. We really enjoyed our stay.

From the beginning I knew Karen and I were just a good fit! Her Airbnb is a MUST whether you are passing through Alpine or looking for a nice , cozy place to stay near Big Bend! Her place is CLEAN, super cozy, it has lots of useful information!, covered parking, laundry room! Definitely worth it! Less then 5min to the super market and this amazing place called The Ritchie !

I stayed at both the Wayfarer and the Candellia. They are in the same building, next to one another, mirror images of one another. I loved them both. They are clean, comfy, cozy (and I would say convenient, but Alpine is so small that everywhere there is convenient). I'll stay there again if/when I come back to Alpine, if you go I think you'll like the place.

This was as good as it gets for me for an Airbnb stay. I absolutely loved the unit and the neighborhood. Kiowa was super helpful and has created a cozy space. I hope to stay there again during future visits.

Look no further! If you’re in Alpine this is where you need to stay, you won’t be disappointed. Place has everything you need. It’s clean, comfortable and at a great price. I will definitely be back if we’re back in town.

What a comfortable and well appointed home. We instantly felt the space was clean and comfortable and felt right at home. Everything was thought of and we loved the touches of Texas and small details that really made it a special and full of character.

Russell’s bunkhouse was the perfect place for our family to stay while we explored Big Bend. He (and his little dog Archie) were very friendly and the bunkhouse was cozy and exactly as described. Russell gave us some great tips on local things to do which was great. It’s a small town but it’s got a ton of charm and great food options. Highly recommend the Bunkhouse! Thanks Russell!

Convenient location across from Sul Ross State University and within easy walking distance to The Museum of the Big Bend and Hancock Hill (if you want to hike to "The Desk"). We enjoyed eating meals on the patio while listening to birds in the surrounding trees and watching a herd of deer roam the Sul Ross campus lawn. We would recommend this as a great stop on your way to/from BBNP and/or BBRSP.

I really loved staying here, I worked remotely and the space was bright enough that I could stay there all day and not feel cooped up at all. There were also so many thoughtful details and little luxuries I discovered during the week I was here in both the architecture/design of the house and in the way the owner furnished the house. The bed, pillows, sheets and shower all felt so luxurious and I loved having an indoor fireplace. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials so I only needed to buy produce to cook my meals. the house is on a corner lot so it felt very private too. and I had really positive interactions with the owner :) I hope to come back again!

This property was easy to find with the directions provided. We stayed after a day at Big Bend National Park and although it was a bit of a drive, it was a great place to stay after being out in nature all day. The place was clean and provided exactly what we needed, and the property is walkable, so in the morning we did some exploring before hitting the road again.

Really enjoyed our stay in Alpine on the way home from Big Bend. Less than an hour to the Mcdonald Observatory, which we really enjoyed also.

This rental was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Great place for a reasonable price.

This place was amazing!! The beds in every room were comfortable. The indoor and outdoor spaces felt like home. Maybe the time of year I chose wasn’t the best (week between Christmas/New Year) as most places were closed. Restaurants had limited availability. It should also be noted that the 1st Wednesday of every month there is an aggressive siren that sounds extremely close to the house for a couple of minutes. I only state that so anyone else isn’t caught off guard & think the town is burning to the ground. We all had a good laugh about it afterwards. All in all I’d definitely stay again.
