The home is well presented in a delightful rural location on a farm, with superb views over the surrounding countryside to the Mourne Mountains. The local town is a short distance away. Ruth the host was helpful and responsive.

Totally worth the price

We had a wonderful stay in the treehouse quirky and very different with excellent views great location for Carlingford and two minutes walk from a friendly local bar extremely dog friendly Padraig went out of his way to meet us and was very responsive and helpful thanks so much Karen Stephen and Jessie 🐶

We had four lovely nights in the Tin Cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and as in the pictures. Very clean and had all the amenities needed. We cooked breakfast and dinner there every day. There is a village nearby that does takeaways if needed. Very quite and remote. We found the double bed is a bit small for two people. Highly recommend to everyone, especially if your looking for a quite getaway.

We arrived in the evening and only stayed for one night, so didn’t have much time to enjoy the facilities, but we still had a nice stay. The heater takes a bit of time to warm up the room, but we were otherwise cosy at night. The location was perfect for our visit to Newgrange.

Wonderful place to stay, easy reach to places that we needed to go. 45 mins to each attraction we wanted to see. Larne& coastal road. Carrick a Rede, Giant’s Causeway & Derry Walls. Perfect for us.

I stayed here for two nights with my partner the house is lovely and cozy, has everything you could need, loads of spices and cooking equipment, shampoos etc in the bathroom. Hot tub was great temperature monitor inside is a great feature so you don't have to keep going outside. Glenn was always quick to respond if I had a question and was very helpful I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested.

Sue and Mick are wonderful hosts - we went to them after a long flight with a toddler and I couldn’t recommend their place enough for a big recovery sleep. The bedroom has blackout blinds and a comfy bed, and the area is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. Sue was so helpful, and had left some supplies for us and everything. Our toddler adored the friendly cats and seeing the animals, lots of space to run around outside. We will hopefully be back next time we land into Dublin!! Thanks so much!

I would absolutely recommend to stay in Kitty's cabin, set in an idyllic and tranquil location. Both Brigit and John were very helpful with local recommendations for us during our stay and very responsive to any messages. The place was immaculate and the views around were beautiful especially seeing the hens and goats!

Anthony was a great host, really helped us out and a great spot for anyone. I will be back😀

We stayed in a beautiful garden cabin that exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was stunning, crafted with natural materials. Decorated with exquisite taste, and attention to every detail (hair dryer, quality shower soaps…) It had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Our visit coincided with Storm Darragh, which hit Ireland with a red level 3 alert in our county. Although the cabin proved to be completely safe, the intensity of the storm made worried the oweners. What made all the difference was the incredible hospitality of our hosts. Without us even asking, they kindly offered us to stay inside their main house. They welcomed us into an immaculate room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, making us feel right at home. The next morning, they even invited us to have coffe with them, showing warmth and kindness that we will never forget. This place not only stands out for its beauty and comfort but also for the humanity and hospitality of Its owners. I hope we can return

Absolutely loved our stay at Marian’s Shepherd's Hut! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a perfect little escape from the world. The hut itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor hot tub was such a treat, especially with the breathtaking views surrounding us – sitting in the warm water while taking in the stunning scenery was truly unforgettable. Marian was a fantastic host, providing thoughtful touches and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Maria's place was savage, exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a remote country location. Short commute from the town of Dunboyne which has everything you could need. Maria and her partner were always willing to drive us into town if we need anything. The tiny home was very spacious, extremely clean, and very relaxing. Despite having some bad weather, the central radiator heating and wood burning stove where more than adequate to make us comfortable. I would highly recommend and certainly consider staying again.

Martin was very friendly and welcoming. House was very clean and tidy, was very private and hot tub was a nice touch. Would definately recommend.

this is my home from home . never without fault . spotless inside and out . calming, serene , Rachel the host is amazing and pulls out all the stops to ensure your stay is everything you need . comfortable, cosy , has WiFi and TV.. the hot tub is immaculate and so relaxing . I cannot find a fault with this place . and I set to return .. at any chance I get. thankyou for creating such an amazing little place to enjoy .

Myself and my young daughter booked Bernie's place to get away for a few days and enjoy some much needed time together. It was advertised with no wifi, which was perfect! We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and animals. It was absolute bliss. The hut had absolutely everything you would need to cook and not have to leave. We went on lovely walks to see the animals. The hut was extremely cosy, modern and warm, and we spent a weekend making memories. Bernie had left us 2 homemade cakes for when we arrived and they did not last long! We absolutely adored it and i would highly recommend it!!!

This is our second time staying here because it is that perfect balance of peace and harmony within its own environment which we love. It’s close enough for us to get to and far enough for us think we have travelled. The style and decor that Yvonne and Bruno have provided is second to none, modern yet homely. The log burning fire is the final piece in this beautiful jigsaw of our home from home. We are already thinking of when we can return.

This place was amazing! We went out of our route a little bit to stay here at the Hobbit House & I am glad that we did! Jesse was a phenomenal hostess. We enjoyed the conversation & the amazing apple juice. The bed was super comfy. We loved the apple orchard & peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend! Would definitely visit here again if ever back in Ireland!
