Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Mangorei

We absolutely loved this home!! It was as if we stayed in a luxury tree house! Every room had a beautiful up close view of the lush forrest and time on the deck in the sun was like spending time in the trees. The location of the rooms allowed for privacy and the living room, kitchen, and deck provided great gathering spaces. The hot tub was a great bonus. The home is located in close proximity to restaurants and great activities including Taranaki Mauna, Fitzroy Beach, and beautiful sunsets at Paritutu Rock. Pip was a great host!

This is a home set up for families with children. Lots of inside and outside toys for kids to play with and locks on kitchen cupboards and draws. Great location, close to supermarkets and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond and very easy to deal with.

Great stay for a family. Lots of space and was nice to have a home to come back to after long days. The outdoor area was a big hit for us and since there is a good flow from inside we had most dinners out there. The home is immaculate! It is clean and tidy and has everything you need. The kitchen is labelled and it was very helpful. The entire home is well catered to guess staying with extra towels and blankets available. Cannot express how clean the home is and how nice it was to relax here for the week. There is no access to laundry and logistically I can see why but for a long stay it was inconvenient to pop down to the laundromat. Wouldn’t have been as big of an issue for a shorter stay. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

This is an amazing place to stay. The house has everything you'd want (all kitchen utensils, games and toys for all ages, a ton of childrens books, spa, trampoline, etc). It's 5min walk from playground, beach and food places and good located to go to New Plymouth or anywhere around the mountain within an hour. The pictures looked good but we were positively surprised to see the place and all the little details at our arrival.

Our stay at Mette & Shane’s place was peaceful and relaxing. The space itself is beautiful and well designed, with a wonderful connection between the kitchen and living area. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and exploring the nearby black sand beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

WOW!! What an incredible home that we were lucky to stay at! Big, spacious, homely, open plan living, great entertaining area, private, quiet culdesac, and just a beautiful environment. We had two families staying (4 kids) and the space was safe for them and there was lots of toys and activities available for the kids to play with, it was great! Janette was a fabulous host, great communication and had the home set up so well for us and allowed us access to all the listed amenities etc. loved the recommendation of the cafe nearby, LOCAL, it was a great spot. We would all 100% go back and stay again. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

We loved our 5 night stay at Ecoscape. The view of Mount Taranaki is breathtaking and ever changing. Using the wood fired hot tub just added to the whole off-grid experience. If you are looking to get away from it all, we would highly recommend Ecoscape.

Super beautiful place to stay even though you are on a busy street once inside you definitely don’t feel like you are with the privacy blinds. The pizza oven is amazing and very easy to use, we didn’t use the bath but definitely looked very inviting. The house is well kept and the bed is pretty easy to put up and down.

Wonderful spot to just unplug from the world for a few hours/days… wish it was weeks! Everything you need to be super cozy in a LUXURIOUS cabin accommodation. Well equipped utensils, plenty of wood and easy to light fire pit. Close enough to pop into town for delicious coffee & pastries for breakfast too!

The Wish House Retreat exceeded our expectations. The area was so beautiful - surrounded by beautiful farmland, valleys, trees and bush. The cabin was curated so well, everything felt specially chosen to be in there. The outdoor area with the chairs, fire pit and bath made our night so special. We loved the walk to the wishing tree and had a lovely, peaceful afternoon. Shelley also made us a loaf of bread which was such a thoughtful touch. The horses were also a highlight of our stay! We couldn’t recommend this place enough - we will certainly be back. Shelley was such a great, responsive and kind host ☺️

Amanda's place is exactly as described. i felt so grateful to have found somewhere so restful and nourishing, which is just what I needed. The bed is super comfy, the cabin is very well stocked with all appliances, crockery and cutlery. the walk up the path and the stairs to the cabin is well sign posted and not far to the beach at all. I loved the books and affirmation cards. I would highly recommend and will be back!
