Very clean and recently refurbished. Nice furniture and quiet, considering how close it is to a main road. Very comfortable stay.

My stay here was perfect! It was quiet, private and a quick walk through the back gate to the beach. Watched the sun set then had a soak in the spa listening to the waves. Fiona was more than generous with her hospitality. I didn’t want to leave.

We came for the Ironman World Championships and it was great to be close the Lake Taupo, but far enough away in a quiet relaxing space that wa beautifully located and had enough room for the 7 of us. We had a electrical issue that got corrected quickly and the communication with host was easy and responsive. Plenty of parking for the cars, a park just next door and walking and riding trails just down the street. Would recommend for a family vacation

We had a fantastic stay - this house way exceeded expectations. We stayed as a large family group with a mix of ages and the property was safe and comfortable for everyone. Excellent layout and everything you need. Just like home away from home. Barry was an amazing host who communicated well and very quick response time. Thank you so much for a great stay! We had a lovely stay at Caroline's place. Caroline was very communicative and it was a really easy check-in process. The cottage was spotless and Caroline had thoughtfully left out some chocolates. Easy walk in to main centre for restaurants and shops. The cottage is located next to a bit of a noisy road which might not suit light sleepers but we didn't mind at all. Thank you Caroline!

We attended teams racing in Palmerston North which was half an hour away (1 hour round trip). Was a real bonus to see the outskirts of Palmy & swim on the west coast beach then travel the short distance to town. I would definitely do it this way again. Rachael made check-in so simple & not that we had any issues at all but knew she was only a message away if I needed. The house catered for us perfectly. Plenty of spaces for kids, and adults to enjoy separately or together. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again. Thank you

A wonderful place, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, a peaceful interior space with a nice garden, the location is perfect next to many iconic attractions, attentive and communicative host, highly recommended

Beautiful house that we could feel right at home in. All the amenities you could need and a great location for those of us from out of town who don’t know our way around. Plenty of space and felt like a secure and safe area. Would absolutely stay again.
