Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mälaren

We had a great time at Joakim‘s cabin. It‘s in a quiet and beautiful area, perfect for small hikes. We were also allowed to lend kajaks and explore the nearby lakes. Would definitely recommend for a cozy getaway!

the house is really beautiful and very large. we had a wonderful time in this very tastefully furnished house. very nice terraces, place to grill and a top equipped kitchen!! very friendly and quick contact with mathias. felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

We booked Robert's place because we had a family gathering nearby: the house and the stay were great! Beautiful views from a great terrace, but also from the dining room and living room. Spacious bedrooms for 5 people and a great sofa bed for another two people. More than spacious kitchen, really all necessities are available! But most importantly: a cozy house! In addition, Robert was very attentive, contacted if everything was ok, but respected privacy! For us, a great week in a beautiful setting! Certainly subject to repetition!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year in the house. Emma and her father Mats are wonderful hosts through and through. They 🎄 set up a Christmas tree for us, explained everything in the house and we learned a lot about the area and got great excursion tips. It was like having good friends. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. It was just wonderful to sit by the fireplace overlooking the lake. Stockholm is just an hour away. We highly recommend the house in winter too!!!

Hans and Lena are super nice hosts. Very helpful and available at any time. The house is a dream, a fantastic view of the Streömmakanal from almost every window. The evenings at the jetty with a glass of wine were very nice, but also on the terrace, which belongs to the cottage and which you have all to yourself, it is cozy with a wonderful view. The deer came to dusk. Unfortunately, we waited on moose in vain. The connection to the city is very easy. Bus 433 or 434 goes directly to Slussen in the city or in the other direction to Stavsnäs from where the ferries go to the nearby islands such as Sandhamn. Nearby you can make beautiful hikes. The house is very spacious and bigger than we expected. Very nice bathroom with many storage options. The kitchen has everything you need including toaster. Only the way to the supermarket is a little further. We would come back and highly recommend it.

Great host, great house

We had a very nice holiday in Anne's house for two weeks as a family. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is super equipped. We especially enjoyed the peace and proximity of the lake. It was great that we could use Anne's canoe at any time. The surroundings are beautiful with the many lakes and forests, as you imagine in Sweden. Ulrike and Hartmut

Really nice house with all you need for a nice long weekend in the middle of nature. Perfect for a cosy weekend in winter. Clean and generous spaces to pass a good time with friends. We loved the big kitchen. The place is also 15 min away from Stendörren that offers nice walks in the woods. Thank you Astrid &co for hosting us.

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

We had a wonderful and relaxing few days at Elin's place. She is an excellent host and communication with her was always nice and helpful. The cottage is really lovingly and functionally furnished, everything exactly matches the description and photos. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to the water and nature. So if you need a break in secluded tranquility, we can only recommend a stay here.

Very nice place, located directly on the sea! The view is incredible, from every room you can watch boats and ships. Not far from the house begins a hiking trail that leads into the forest and small lakes. Very nice landlords! Definitely recommend!

Very cozy accommodation with proximity to the lake, sauna by the water and lots of opportunities for activities in the form of ping pong, tennis, fishing and kayaking.

We (family of three) had a wonderful time in the simple, sensibly equipped little cottage with sea view. Bathroom and kitchen are in the main house, but were usable at all times. The location is very close to nature and really exceptional. Perfect for relaxing and hiking in the area. In less than an hour you are also in Stockholm and can immerse yourself in city life. Lotte and Olle were perfect hosts and we felt very comfortable.

A magical home in the environment of nature! We had an amazing stay in Älv-Hyddan! The cottage is both charming and comfortable, with all the amenities you can wish for. The location is unbeatable, surrounded by nature and with a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay extra relaxing. Anders was incredibly hospitable and had really thought of everything to make our experience as good as possible. Everything was clean, the beds comfortable and we appreciated the small details that made us feel extra welcome. We highly recommend this home and are looking forward to returning in the future!

Very quiet and peaceful place on a really nice island. Nice surroundings. The accommodation was very cozy with a nice sauna and close to the sea. Jan was a very good host who was very generous with information etc. We could also use rowing boat and rowing out to the island ourselves, it was arranged in a very good way. The swimming facilities at the accommodation were also very good. Jan had also arranged for some extra food, oat drink etc in the cabin as well. And that it was heated in the cabin when we arrived. Great instructions on everything practical. A great stay! We'll be happy to get back to you!

The four of us and dog stayed here for 7 days. What a beautiful place! The arrival was really friendly and warm. We had nice weather, so canoe and paddle board. Our daughters (and we ourselves) also liked the sheep very much. We already said to each other; we could live here in no time 😃 hopefully we will come back here again!

It was a pleasure to stay at Mattias place with my family. Kids enjoyed fishing and boat ride. We loved the sauna and how peaceful with a great view is the place. Mattias is a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.
