My recent stay at Romy's home in Kathmandu, after a decade away, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived until the last day of my stay, Romy provided insightful tips about the neighborhood and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable experience. Romy's home exceeded my expectations. It's situated in the heart of Kathmandu, offering stunning views of the cityscape from the top of the house. The ambiance was truly beautiful, blending traditional Nepali charm with modern comforts. The living spaces were spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the location and the opportunity to soak in the sights and sounds of Kathmandu from the rooftop. It was a perfect retreat within the bustling city. Throughout my stay, Romy's hospitality was exceptional. He not only provided excellent accommodation but also shared valuable insights into local culture.

Our favourite Airbnb we have stayed in. The location is peaceful, with beautiful mountain views that make it the perfect spot to relax. The cottages are clean, cozy, and have everything we need, making it an ideal place for couples to unwind and enjoy nature. The host has been fantastic—really flexible and kind, helping us extend our stay to a different cottage without any difficulty. They've been quick to assist with anything we’ve needed, which makes us feel very well looked after. The Wi-Fi is solid too, so working remotely has been absolutely fine. Plus, there’s Jimmy, the lovely dog, who adds an extra touch of warmth to the place. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we are in Nepal, five star experience.

The best stay possible for anyone looking for pure relaxation and views out of the busy city of Kathmandu, suman provided some very nice traditional Nepalese food and helped with anything we needed. Great hiking routes nearby

Shivdarshan is the greatest host who you would ever meet. He is always responsive and helpful. Polite to the guest and direct the affordable and suitable method of transportation and as such. Generally saying, it was a great pleasure to have a stay at his place.

Really enjoyed our stay with Cody Nepal. We would highlight recommend them to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

Situated in peaceful residential area. Google sometimes shows thin lanes as best route. Always coordinate with the owner. He was very helpful. My only concern was that there were no fan in the rooms. Though not required throughout the year in Kathmandu but in June it was hot and humid.

Great stay with friendly hosts. Amir was kind and always happy to help. I hope to visit again and would definitely come back to stay here again. Highly recommend it to everyone that want some privacy while remaining in a close proximity to Thamel at excellent rate and service.

THE BEST AIR BNB I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. PERIOD. I spent 6 nights here and I didn’t want to leave. It it steps from bakhtapur gate. I decided to stay in this ancient village as my touch down point and communite to Kathmandu, patan, nagarkot, etc. And I have NO regrets. Get the app called indrive and you can get drives anywhere and so reasonable. As for the stay, the place was a sanctuary. You are right outside the square, you are fully immerse and are living in an ancient build, yet it is completely modern design and feels so peaceful and at home. The hosts are unbelievable. The place is pristine. I wish I could stay longer. It is a MUST do if you are in Kathmandu. I cannot say enough good things about it. As you are by the square, just bring ear plugs to sleep with or a fan app, that will do the trick! You can get a week pass for the temples for the same price as a day pass if you give your passport number. A MUST. I woke up every morning and had coffee with the lovey locals.

The place was amazing. A little miscommunication on the host’s part as the place is no smoking but the same is not listed on the listing page.
