Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mafra

Our stay was short, but it was well worth it. The house is very well equipped, with all the necessary accessories. From the kitchen with several utensils, the bathroom, stocked with gel and towels. It's a really nice place to go. We had a mishap with the car, but the hostess helped us quickly, we appreciate all the effort to all those who managed to save the car ☺️

Candida met us at the home and thoroughly went through the home and the community of Cascais. It is evident the pride of ownership by Candida and her husband through the attention to details throughout this lovely home. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We went to the seafood restaurant Mare Alta twice, which Candida recommended. We walked to the market on the secret path she directed us to. Thank you for being part of Portuguese adventure.

Very nice dwelling in a peaceful village. We were warmly welcomed by Iolanda's grandmother. Iolanda was very responsive and was able to accommodate us for check-in and checkout. I recommend it!

Lia's place is a tiny apartment with a separate entrance. The apartment is part of her house. There are a lot of common areas available for guests to use. I really liked sitting on veranda. The apartment is decorated with great taste. All appliances worked for me. I cooked there about 1 meal every second day. Lia was kind to provide me with a large sauce pan so that I can make my favorite soup.

A very nice welcome, as he had provided breakfast due to very late arrival. GPS wasn't quite able to take us to the right side of the house, but since there was an entrance from both sides, we found our way. Nice and clean house, a little bit of moisture, but this is how it is so close to the sea and not TEK17 house:) Fantastic cozy garden and a fabulous view. Large and spacious with a lot of space. We enjoyed the max And absolutely everything you need in the house plus more. We would gladly came again.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Amazing villa with everything you need for a nice stay, including a well-equipped kitchen! We had a great time staying there for a few days. In winter, it might not be ideal because the hot tub doesn't go very hot (we had 36°C max, but we still used it and it was nice) and the pool is cold too. The house can be heated by the electric fireplace and has 2 portable radiators for the bedrooms if needed. Totally recommend the place!

Cristina e Carlos' place is a real gem - very spacious and just steps from the Metro for easily getting around. It's on a very busy street, but because it has 2 layers of windows it's always quiet at night for sleeping. The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything & there's a tankless water heater, so you can never run out of hot water. But the best part of all was the responsiveness of Carlos, the host - he was somehow instantly available whenever we needed anything & provided great recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again.

I have stayed at many airbnb properties in many countries and cities and I would probably rate Ana Maria and Miguel’s as one of the best ever! Absolutely gorgeous apartment, everything like the photos and more. Super walkable area with great restaurants just downstairs. The hosts were so gracious with me allowing for flexible check in, even offering to mail me a key I left behind. Truly an incredible stay I only wished I would’ve booked it for longer. If I could give six stars, thank you Ana Maria and Miguel!!

Guilherme’s apartment is spacious and very well equipped. He prepared us a bottle of wine and some food in the fridge. The layout is perfectly designed and allows us to enjoy the place. The sunny balcony with beautiful tiles is my favorite corner. In the neighborhood, there’re good local restaurants and cafes to satisfy your appetite. Public transportation is close by and takes you to downtown in 30 minutes. Airport is 2KM away and costs about 6 Euros by Uber. Free street parking is a bonus. The building requires code to get in which is quite safe. I guess the building is an old building with little insulation, we could hear the next door neighbours singing and talking, but they did get quiet at night. If you are sensetive to noise like this and want to sleep early, we do recommend ear plugs.

Beautiful place. Very close to the water and the walking path along the Tejo. The unit is in the back of the building so there isn't a sea view but it is very quite. There is a building attendant near the entrance that directed me to the correct door. The unit is spacious and clean and had everything for short term or long term stay. Hosts were super responsive and accommodated an early check-in. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Antonio's apartment over New Year's in Lisbon. The apartment was comfortable, providing the perfect base for exploring the city. Its central location was fantastic—just steps away from restaurants, shops, and all the New Year celebrations. While the bathroom and lounge (TV area) was on the smaller side, it was clean and functional, and the rest of the apartment more than made up for it. Antonio was an exceptional host, always available to assist with any queries and ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. Recommended for anyone visiting Lisbon!

We had a wonderful time at Laura's apartment! The place was really nice and cozy (loved the woodwork) and the kids had a blast with the bunks and the upper stairway. It also helped that the place was located in a really quiet neighbourhood. Laura was exceptionally helpful both before the booking and during our time there, making our stay seamlessly easy. Would recommend 100% and a big thank you again to Laura for everything!

Apartment is as described. We stayed here for a month. Nuno is the real gem of this listing. I ended up sick in the hospital the day of checkout and Nuno was flexible in my check out time at first and then when surgery was scheduled he had no problem extending our stay until we were able to leave. He was also responsive during our stay if we needed anything.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 days. Luis was friendly and personable. He gave us a tour of the apartment and left us with a delicious gift of warm Pateis de Natas. Apartment was in a great location (near Tram 28, Rossio square) and a supermarket was a few blocks away. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The communication was friendly, clear and proactive, the place matched the description, was very clean, well equipped and quiet. The only downside is the size, which was smaller than expected (that was due to my own assessment – nothing else was promised). It requires special skill so that two people can cook, eat together in this small space, etc.

Due to unforeseen circumstances on our part, we were not able to stay at this property. However, we were so grateful for Nana‘s amazing communication during our trip. We would definitely consider trying to stay at this property again in the future!

It was a very cozy and spacious place. Even though it was chilly outside, the apartment had heating and was very warm. The host greeted us kindly, gave us all the necessary recommendations, and explained how to park in the underground garage. There’s a supermarket near the building where you can buy everything you need. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach the coast with beautiful views, and you can get to the city center on foot in about 20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

So happy with this stay! At the quieter end of town, but still easy walking distance to everything in lower part of city. We had a rental car and would drive up to Sitio and to the point to see Praia de Norte. Easy parking on the street beside the building, and also secure parking in garage. Great view of Nazare beach right from the terrace— i loved sipping my coffee and watching the people on the boardwalk and listening to the waves crashing on the shore each morning. Sunsets were spectacular! Very secure, private and clean, and we had everything we needed.

They are very good hosts, they responded kindly to our request to get in two hours earlier. The apartment is just as you can see in the photos, it is very well equipped and clean, the area is very quiet. We recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay here with our two children. The apartment was spotless, with a well-thought-out, modern design and equipped with everything we needed. All the appliances were immaculate, and it was clear that someone had put a great deal of care and effort into creating a comfortable space. Despite a delay due to lost luggage, our hosts were incredibly patient and considerate, meeting us at the apartment to show us around. Throughout our stay, they were always responsive and helpful. The location was perfect—just a three-minute walk to the beach, and to the left, a three-minute walk to a large supermarket called Auchan. We were also only a few minutes away from many restaurants and cafés. Our children loved the merry-go-round in the nearby park, and most days we enjoyed delicious ice cream from Santini’s! We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.
