This Homestay, is in a very serene, peaceful environment among the coffee plantations. So the nights are so peaceful and silent, but for the night birds and insects. Its a beautiful experience far away from the noisy city life and traffic, those who love nature will love this place. The Homestay is part of the house where Kunal and family lives, they live in the ground-floor and the guest on the first floor. The place is best visited during the summer and winter, visiting during rains not advised as the river Kaveri flowing nearby wells up. Kunal's mom is great at the local cuisine she surprised us by her simple tasty local dishes, and they were ready to extend their service at short notice. Guests who visit nearby places shall travel out early morning to enjoy the mist and fog, and make sure to reach back before dark as the narrow roads near the stay through the coffee plantations can be bit challenging. Thanks Kunal for the great experience at your place.

Great place inside Srinath 's private coffee plantation. Srinath and Savitha are very friendly hosts and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Srinath is a great communicator and a people's person. He is passionate about the environment - the plants, trees, birds and the animals.Will guide you to the best places around Kodagu for sightseeing visits. The visit to Kabbe Hill and the view from the top was fabulous. Wake up to the peaceful sound of the different birds and the flowing water. Savitha cooked some fantastic home recipes from Kannur in north Kerala. Fish curry,fish fry, chicken curry with rice or chappathi. Fabulous breakfast - pathal(rice based puri) with egg curry and kadala curry ( black chana), Puttu and payar curry with Banana splits fried in coconut oil ( Pazham pori). Srinath's Barbecue chicken was just too good- well marinated soft chicken with a special masala mix of traditional Kerala spices on it. One of the best holidays we had.

Always keen to help and proactively provided his ideas and information on surrounded areas and services like bus, food items or temple details even local travel places. Very comfy and accommodative house. The amenities are as described. The location is central and close to most of the local sight seeing spots. The rooms are clean and tidy with hi-tech buttons. The host has maintained the property very well and is very proactive and responsive. We'll definitely look forward to stay there when we visit Kushalnagar next time, it was valur for money.
