This is a piece of heaven on earth. It is a beautiful location in the mountains. Ideal for writers wanting to finish a book or people that want time to slow down. I met some of the most caring people in 4 weeks of travel here. The local bar and supermarket is a mist visit. It is quiet and peaceful and I will be returning to this place!

It's been a wonderful weekend. Even the neighborhood was very welcoming. We thank Mr. Manuel for the taste of his wine and the sausages. Firewood ready for heating the house, large spaces such as the room he gave for meals and for games with children or conversations with adults. Super-creative decoration that makes us feel at home. Flexibility at check-in and check-out added more unforgettable moments in the home. We want to return.

Great place in a pretty and private environment! Perfect quinta to relax before going back to work! The owner was really responsive and friendly, giving us privacy too. Awesome stay and highly recommended!

We had a lovely time in Vale do Espinheiro. Antonio and Sara were great hosts and the place was clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was very peaceful and the lake nearby was fantastic for swimming. Highly recommend!

Very nice house with a beautiful decoration. Everything was in line with the announcement. Beautiful spaces, quiet place perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The view of the green nature is the big plus of the house. Host Catarina was very responsive and always there to answer questions. We really loved our little weekend. You can book without so much as a second thought. We'll be back.

It's not the first time I've stayed here and I'm sure it won't be the last one, the house is beautiful, well furnished and the surrounding landscape is stunning. Even if it is cold there is no problem, between heaters and air conditioning get the house at the temperature they want

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Sitio marvelous, calm, we were at peace. attentive people, apt location apra children, toys in the litter box, clean pool, with toys, buoys... loica, toilet paper, pots, clean towels, air conditioning. everything ok. 💜 we will certainly return get ready for the wasps but we were not bitten by any 🤭

The villa which in the listing is already amazing but in life stunning. Huge space in and outside and a heated pool. There are so many amenities that are provided and attention to detail to ensure that everything you need to have a lovely time is there. A home from home. Lovely hosts and good recommendations

Beautiful place and surroundings, cozy home with many rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment aswell. The only thing to note, even though it was rented in winter time, was the state of the pool. We recommend at least covering the swimming pool.

I could not recommended more this place in warmer seasons! A beautiful house, with a breathtaking view, amazing garden and well equipped kitchen. The surroundings, amazing too, very quiet and beautiful. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly and responsive. However, the heating, even with a fire place, was not effective and the house was very cold, specially in the bedrooms. If the heating is not improved, I will not go back in winter. But in Spring-Summer, this is a place to go!

The house exceeded expectations! Very comfortable, very well-equipped, excellent heating in the whole house, which makes it very welcoming. The fruit trees in the garden and orchard make the place even more charming. Our stay was spectacular.

We had a great stay! The house is extremely comfortable for a stay in the winter (there is a pellet salamander in the living room and electric blankets in the bedrooms). The kitchen is very well equipped - it has everything we could need for cooking and huge appliances (toaster, electric oranges juicer, 2 coffee machines (capsules and filter), blender, magic wand, etc.). In general, Erica's care is noted in ensuring the comfort of the guests, with blankets, games, candles, etc., which make the whole space very pleasant. Highlight for the Jacuzzi on the balcony, easy to use and with an enjoyable view of the landscape. Erica was extremely helpful throughout the stay, with easy and quick communication:)

It deserves 6 stars! Paulo and Susana are great hosts, very kind and caring, they are always available to help and guide you through the beautiful area. The house is great, the garden and pool are exceptional, the view is amazing. You are quiet and in a splendid natural setting to have a relaxing holiday and recharge your batteries. Obrigado Paulo and Susana for everything! We'll be happy to go back.

We had a great weekend at this wonderful and quiet place! We were very well received and what a pleasure to see the fire ready to warm us when we arrived. our stay at Erica's place was great the house is great, very clean, the beds very comfortable. Erica is very kind, smiling and available she gives a lot of advice we've given. we recommend the house. we have a very good memory it was great!

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! The location was absolutely brilliant; miles of hiking trails from the door, 10 mins from a town to get supplies and complete peace and privacy in the Airbnb. The outside space is very large and fully enclosed, perfect for our two dogs. We were able to relax in the sun whilst looking at the donkey and pigs in the field next door. The hosts were wonderful; they delivered a very generous breakfast each morning, were very responsive to messages, and even invited us to walk around with them one evening to meet their rescue animals. I would love to go back later in the year with a group of the friends.
