Vacation rentals in Lyon Mountain

We enjoyed our stay for 4 nights in Lake Placid. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. The rooms were plenty big and the different gathering areas were ideal for the kids. The place was clean and the kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. Great Times!

beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here! The space is comfortable and cozy and has beautiful views of Little Wolf Pond. The AirBnb had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub during the cold weather! Reinaldo was a wonderful host and we would come back during any season!

We used the Chalet as our home base for a family Whiteface ski trip. The Chalet was super clean and organized. It's in a great location; super close to Whiteface. Easy drive into Lake Placid, or some smaller, local, options close by. We enjoyed stargazing while soaking in the hot tub in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. We’re a group of 4 mostly retired couples. Linda’s place was perfect for our needs. We used 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, comfortable communal space, a dining room that accommodated all of us, and a great kitchen with lots of counter space, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The main bedroom upstairs also had an adjoining suite perfect for families with young children. Linda’s instructions were clear and she was very responsive to all messages. Linda had towels for the hot tub which we loved using after a day of outdoor activity. We highly recommend Linda’s place and look forward to returning next year.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay. Beautiful home and the view of the lake and surroundings were stunning even in the winter time! I can only imagine in the summer how amazing this home must be as well. Right on Lake Champlain, we enjoyed an annual ice event just a few towns over in North Hero which was family friendly and a quick drive away. The home was well stocked for cooking and had everything we needed for our stay. The pack and play and the high chair were an added bonus if you have young children like us. I would highly recommend Stephanie and her beautiful home.

This wonderful home was everything and more than we expected, and it was the last week of February! Can’t wait to return in August to enjoy the lake and kayak. If the weather turns bad, you can enjoy the game room. We played ping pong and pool for hours during this stay. They also have darts, bumper pool, foosball, and so many classic great games. Playing cards on the dining table soaking in the ever-changing amazing views of Lake Champlain was priceless. We could hear and see the train every day rolling along on the west shore (NY). Our little dog felt right at home. This home is open, bright, and spacious. The king bed was so comfortable. There are two full bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. The hosts, Barb & Barb, were the best we’ve ever experienced. They were friendly, helpful, and full of local useful information. I would give 6 stars if I could! Mike, Judy & Gypsy

Spacious and pretty clean. Snow tubes and kayaks for use is nice. There's already a hill right out the back door to go tubing down. An easy 5 minute drive into town.
