our host was extremely present, responsive to every question we have posed. The listing was exactly as described. our host has always been very friendly, and very precise , in his responses. this place suited us perfectly , we do ski touring and this central and quiet point suited us perfectly (as long as we had a car.. the house is provided in everything we needed, for cooking, and other (sheet , towels). Great WiFi. we did not use the sauna for lack of time and we did not necessarily want it. very, very good stay.

We had a very nice time in Sveins‘ hut ’. The location by the sea is fantastic. The large windows give you views over the fjords and mountains. You step up the deck and then you can hear the sea. It's a place where you are very aware of the elements. We found it very relaxing, despite very strong wind and snow showers. There is hardly any light pollution, so an ideal place to be able to see the northern lights, with 360 degree visibility when you stand outside. The starry sky is also impressive. The house was perfectly clean. The bathroom is spacious with a large pile of towels. The bed is fine. Maybe the house would be even more homely if there were some nice reproductions or photos on the walls. The wood stove was very nice and cozy. Stein had put down a lot of wood to use. If you play guitar or piano, you can indulge yourself. Sing, dance and laugh. Many thanks to Stein for everything, also for the quick contact if we had any questions. A place to remember!

me and two colleagues stayed for some days at Cato's house for some work in the area. just a few days before we had to find a place to stay and found Cato's place.. what a great location in the middle of one of the bigger towns in the lyngen area. and what a friendly host Cato is! definitely a big reccomandation for everyone that wants to stay in the lyngen comune

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

Oyvind's Lyngenvilla is the perfect starting point for skiing enthusiasts who still want to relax after a long day in the sauna and hot tub. The view of the fjord is incredible, especially in the morning when you get out of bed. The well-equipped kitchen completes the villa perfectly.

Very nice and modern house. The location is great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Line is incredibly helpful and always responded very quickly when we had a question. Highly recommended!

Bjorn's house matches the description, is equipped with everything you need and is very convenient for groups who want to practice ski mountaineering around the Lyngen Alps as it is equipped with a ski storage room and boot dryer. The view of the fjord is spectacular and it's a great spot for a snack or an aperitif after a day outdoors. During the stay Bjorn was always available to answer our questions and resolve our concerns.
