Cottage vacation rentals in Lyme Regis

Me and my partner stayed here for a couple nights before I went back to university and as a little break for the both of us. This place was lovely we had it all to ourselves and the hot tub was a highlight which we both loved after a long day out. Iveta and Her husband were very helpful as well and made us both feel very welcome and at home. We will definitely be back in the future :)

A beautiful home with a stunning view. It was lovely and warm and comfortable, with space for relaxation and games. We went on some lovely walks. The hot tub was also great! Highly recommend.

Perfect for a winter weekend getaway. Accomadation and contents as listed, clean and in a pleasant setting. Would recommend and return in future.

Wow what a gorgeous place to stay, the cottage was just perfect for what we were looking for! It was very homely and clean on arrival. It was easy to find and all the instructions given were clear. Had everything you need. The hot tub and game room was very nice at the end of the day to wind down in. Was sad to be leaving, could have 100% stayed a few extra night and would love to stay again! Sweetings Barton is a beautiful property in a stunning location. Helen and Paul were wonderful hosts. We arrived to some lovely goodies that they left us. The hot tub is a great way to relax in the evening. We would definitely return.

Had the most beautiful and peaceful stay here. The property is true to the pictures if anything it is better. The bed is comfy, and the surroundings are perfectly quiet for a fab night sleep. As well, the property is spotless, comes equipped with the right amount of amenities like pots and pans, baking trays etc which a lot of other property’s seem to forget. Nothing was missing! The hot tub really makes the stay as it faces onto the fields surrounding the property, such a focal point! Linsey was on hand to answer any questions, a fabulous host. Must recommend purchasing a jar of the honey made on the farm!

Absolutely loved it here! Great communication throughout. Fantastic house and location, spotlessly clean, very homely, great facilities ie.. pool table cinema room jacuzzi, table tennis , park for the kids - all ages loved it - Can’t wait to return - fabulous

The house is great for an adult couple with or without an older child / 3rd adult . The staircase is very steep as warned and not suitable for someone with mobility issues or a young child. Lovely, warm, characterful house and close to the very stony Chesil beach. Great attention to environmental issues such as recycled paper toilet rolls, recycling of rubbish etc and a very cleverly designed wet room upstairs. We knew there would be no TV or wifi so read newspapers instead. We found the free parking as advised round the corner. Would definitely go back.

Pretty cottage in beautiful surroundings. Well equipped & lovely furnishings & attention to detail. Location great for visits to coast & local attractions. Highly recommend.

A clean, well stocked and charming cottage. Carol was excellent at responding to any query and very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch too, and my daughter and her children thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you, Carol.

We spent a lovely couple of nights at Chris and Freya's cottage which is as described with a homely feel and beautiful views. Sadly we were hampered a little by storm Bert so didn't get a chance to visit the farm but nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you're travelling from London Stourhead is a great stop!

Enjoyed our stay in Weymouth. Sally's place was far enough out to be quiet but still close enough to not be a burden. Would recommend to anyone.

Lavender cottage was perfect for us, it’s in a great location, good takeaways, near the bus stop and great walks on your door step. The cottage was spotless , well equipped and very cosy a real home from home. Julie was an excellent host, we definitely would love to come and visit again!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a great stay at Owls we were beteen homes and so needed somewhere to stay. Ben and family were welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including providing fresh bedding as we were staying for more than 2 weeks. We had our own hot tub which we did take advantage of. We would recommend it for any kind of stay. Thank you Nicky and Noel xx

Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway - perfect location, relaxing and beautiful surroundings and everything at the cottage you could possibly need. It enabled us to totally switch off for 5 days over Christmas and was exactly what we needed - thank you so much, 10/10 host and pure bliss

Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough. We stayed here over New Year’s Eve and it was the perfect getaway. The views from the house are stunning and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back in the summer!

Nancy is a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive and made check in super easy. The place was spotless, had everything you could possibly need and was the perfect location for a peaceful country getaway. Pinot also made an appearance and was a delight 😍 Will be planning a return trip!

This accommodation is tasteful, immaculate and perfect for a quiet time away. Tina was helpful and responsive and check-in was easy. The attention to detail was wonderful and there was a Christmas tree - really festive! Jasmine Cottage is one of a group of cottages and would be perfect for larger groups of family/friends. We were only there for one night but wished that we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Penelope’s place for two nights and wished that we could stay longer! It felt very cosy and held by the surrounding valley… the cob walls were a treat and the luxurious, large log burner and bed! Our 20 month old son loved the Christmas tree, jumping on the bed and being able to run around the garden ☀️ thank you for a lovely stay! We would love to come back one day.

A perfect spot in the countryside easily located between Taunton and Minehead. This cosy cottage met all our needs, and Linda was a thoughtful but unobtrusive host. It made a wonderful spot to spend Christmas with a local pub, a carol service and panto on the doorstep. We’d definitely book again.
