Beautiful view over the Nile, spacious apartment and very helpful host who was kind enough to offer us quite an early check in and drove us to the station after our checkout. The area is authentic Luxor so don’t expect the shiny streets of resorts, but rather enjoy the beauty of being surrounded by locals which we actually preferred :)

If you’re looking for a more relaxed version of Luxor then the West Bank and Yasser’s hotel is the place for you. Yasser and his host skills are what made our 10 day stay in Luxor so memorable. He’s happy to arrange all your tours and transportation and he’ll give you budget options too. He’ll make great suggestions of when to see something or maybe to do an activity you weren’t thinking about. We were lucky enough to have ample time to see the main sites of Luxor but also have time for local egyptian life and Yasser invited us to his family home for a meal, to a local festival and many more authentic experiences. We are so grateful for his kindness. The flat is big and spacious. The kitchen needs a few more pieces of equipment to be able to cook a meal but I was able to make small lunches and snacks for the kids in it at least. The rooftop pool, loungers, billiards table and ping pong table were great to stay busy after a long day touring. Food was amazing as well.

Very good stay!The room was very spacious and very clean, the room was very new, the pool in front was very characteristic, the host was very friendly, he kept waiting for us to come, he helped us communicate with the driver, he provided us with a local tuk tuk, very cheap, our phone couldn't download the taxi software on this side, the host helped us to get a taxi directly!Recommended for us, overall, great experience, the best room for our trip😀 If you want to come to Luxor, don't hesitate to choose his room

Perfect! Maria is a really wonderful host - she was friendly, kind, interesting to chat to and super helpful, coming to meet us from the ferry and making sure we were settled in. She immediately made us feel comfortable - couldn't ask for more. The apartment itself is great. It is a very nicely decorated space with character. It's lovely - bright, airy, comfortable, and it has everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. Everything is clean - comfy bed, nice bedding, towels etc all nice. And the terrace.....oohhhhh so great. It's a huge space with lots of comfortable places to lounge either in the shade or in the sun. We loved relaxing there both day and night. Overall, I don't think you will find a nicer host or a better place to stay in Luxor. Thank you!

The apartment is spacious, nice and with a nice view. The hosts are very friendly and attentive to what you need. Likewise, they have tours and their recommendations allow you to enjoy the city. This place is a good option to stay.

Great place to stay, and the penthouse unit is perfect for privacy and the views. It allows a panoramic view of the city below. The neighbors are mature, quiet, and respectful. I was able to come and go with us day or night. Ida and Hassan's hospitality was top-notch. after the first day there, it felt like family. If you're looking for a long-term comfortable place to stay. Then I think Ida and Hassan would be the hosts to call.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Very grateful for having met Tjoni and being allowed to stay at her place, wish I could’ve stayed forever haha! The place is gorgeous with beautiful surroundings and friendly villagers. Luxor as a whole was an experience which swayed more towards sweet than sour for my Egypt trip. But…staying at Tjoni’s and meeting someone one the same wave length was soothing for the soul. Also, having being introduced to other women who share space in Egypt made me feel very secure, free and happy with all my explorations there. I can see myself visiting in the future again and I hope the roof garden gets done as that view is godly! Tjoni deserves to be recognised in the area and to other female travellers as a safe haven!

While in Luxor you can expect A very warm and hospitable environment Qenut and Azab are very down to earth and accommodating to one's needs! A very comfortable place while in Luxor! They also do tours of the Nile, Pyramids, group Nile cruise excursions (10 or more) and desert excursions. Very modern living conditions on the West Bank in Luxor.

We arrived late at night and were worried because the place seemed to be on the edge of the city. But then we met our friendly host. The location is very close to the Nile River. On the corner, there is a family-run restaurant with good food and fair prices. The neighbors are fun, and there are many restaurants and markets on the river street. The house is very beautiful and clean, and the backyard is perfect. The only downside was the internet, which was very slow, so we gave up using the Wi-Fi. The biggest highlight was the host—his name is Momo, and now he is my Egyptian friend.

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The place was sparkling clean, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. One of the best highlights was the rooftop, where I enjoyed my morning coffee every day and truly relaxed. The home is surrounded on four sides by a banana plantation, giving it a private, serene feel—perfect for unwinding. Even though there was no heating or air conditioning, the temperature was overall perfect for the time of year we traveled. It did get a little chilly in the evenings, so I’d recommend bringing an extra pair of comfy socks or house slippers. That said, the overall experience was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The host was incredibly available and friendly, making our stay even better. They can also help arrange tour guides, balloon rides, transportation, and anything else you might need to make your trip seamless and stress-free. No doubt, I would highly recommend this stay for a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank.

The stay was very good and the place is quiet and pleasant. The apartment is very large and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Over 3 balconies you could see the Nile. The apartment was just great with everything it had to offer. Ezzat and his uncle were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Glad to come back!

Just spent a lovely week at the apartment overlooking the Nile. Hard to fault anything, great value, perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor on the East Bank and just a short river boat ride to reach. A wonderful place near everything 5 minutes walking to Luxor Temple and on the other side a shopping mall complete with all the pharmacy , supermarket, clothing store, snack bars, etc….. Perfect house for 4 people 1 comfortable double bed and 2 single bed. Kitchen with very complete essential.Nota 10 . I recommend it to everyone !

The place had an incredible view, and it is very spacious and very comfortable but the best was the attention of the hosts, the staff is very attentive and very friendly, they help you with all the needs you have and they are always willing to help you, they are very friendly, we were very happy and very grateful, the Egyptians are very friendly people and good friends

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.
