Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lüneburg

We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing, the subway is quickly accessible and even at night you can get back quickly and well from Hamburg I'd love to stay again

We booked the house earlier this year with 4 adults and 2 young children. The spacious living room with fireplace and the layout on the 1st floor was ideal for us. Location is very quiet. Great were the games and flyers with possible activities :) The beds were liked by everyone, which is rather rare. In the summer you can certainly use the garden and the bikes more. In winter it was still beautiful in the north

We had great Christmas days with the whole extended family there. Also for 13 people incl. 5 children and 2 dogs offered the house great conditions to have community, but also to be able to retreat. We felt right at home, everything was super prepared, bed linen, towels etc. on site. The kitchens are also sufficiently equipped for cooking, if you want to bake, you have to bring your own accessories such as blender. One or two larger pots would have been helpful for the whole group. Only small disappointment on site: The dogs were not allowed to enter the common area upstairs, but had to stay in the apartments on the ground floor. This is understandable due to the wooden floor, it would just have been nice to know beforehand. So we had to spontaneously reschedule upon arrival, which caused some displeasure. Still good to know: not only is there no Wi-Fi, but no reception depending on the network, you have to adjust to it;-)

beautiful property, bath was out of this world! easily accessible, indoor swing was a huge hit with the children whilst it rained, as was the fully stocked playroom! very spacious in all rooms, would love to return

Birgitta's cottage is great! Beautifully modern furnishings, two bedrooms, good bathroom with shower and large tub, large living-dining room with kitchenette where everything necessary is available. Access via key box, the bus stop (to Holm-Seppensen station or Buchholz) is 4 min. away, the bus usually runs half an hour. There are lots of games for children and adults. Bicycle is available for rent. We loved being there for the third time.

We were 6 persons. The equipment was adequate for that. A nice welcome greeting was at the table in the hallway. We felt very comfortable in the house.

Staying with Lilli was great! Quiet location in nice neighborhood for walks. Lilli lovingly prepared the house for the Christmas season, we felt very comfortable!

Frauke's Airbnb is fantastic! Check-in to the lovingly furnished and clean Airbnb was easy and you immediately feel comfortable. There's everything you need. There is good shopping nearby and downtown Hamburg is easy and quick to reach. Frauke is also very likeable and friendly, always available and happy to give tips for staying in Hamburg. Can only recommend it!

Great stay. Easy checkin and Checkout. Simone was always quick to reply to any questions we had. Really enjoyed the Blackout Shutters and quiet surroundings for a peaceful night sleep. We look forward to staying here again.

A perfectly comfortable and equipped apartment, with more than welcoming and accommodating hosts. We were able to leave our luggage and go for a quiet walk having arrived very early. The location is ideal , around for the alternative and lively Sternschanze neighborhood to explore the south part of Hamburg on foot. Sybille is such a lovely host and I like to be in the apartment so much that I was there for the second time. It's big, clean, quiet, and the location can't be beat from my point of view. Cozy little apartment in Hamburg! You can reach the Elbe beach in 5 minutes and can walk there beautifully or take the bus to the city in 30 minutes. Thank you for the lovingly stocked fridge and the many details that made us feel right at home!

John was a great host. He has already contacted us at the time of booking, contacted us again before arrival to ask when we will arrive and waited for us until late at night. John lives right next door, was always available to us and yet invisible, it was really pleasant and peaceful in the apartment. Thank you again for all this, John. The accommodation is nicely located in a quiet residential area near a forest. The apartment itself is even better than it can be seen in the photos of Airbnb, here. Potential for improvement for the future. There is everything from a very spacious kitchen-living room, to a cot and children's toys to a cozily furnished smoking gazebo in the outdoor area. There is also plenty of free parking space in front of the house. It was an all-round positive experience for us and we will certainly come back to John's place again.

We felt very comfortable! The apartment is stylish, furnished with a lot of love for detail and very high quality (e.g. with the kitchen equipment). The location of the apartment is great, a few minutes walk to the S train station Blankenese and the staircase district. Maria is a wonderful and uncomplicated host.

We had a wonderful stay at Marit and Willy's place! The place was clean, cozy, and lovingly decorated – you immediately feel welcome. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, always helpful and with valuable tips for the area. You can tell that they care about the well-being of their guests. We highly recommend staying with Margrit and Willy and would be happy to come back .

This apartment is more spacious than what you can see on the photos. Each of the rooms is very big in comparison to most apartments I have seen. The mattresses were a little bit hard but we got used to them after about a week. We stayed for 4 weeks. The location is superb, it only took five minutes to walk to the nearest train station, which I need takes a few minutes to bring you into the city Centre. There were some nice touches on arrival. You get the basic kitchen fit out with a little bit of everything. We did miss: A second house key , a little more cupboard space for groceries, a microwave and a larger fridge, because we obviously stayed for quite a long time and did a lot of our own cooking. If you are deciding to stay for longer period of time, please note that no TV, and no laundry facilities are provided, as per the description. The floors were a bit loose and the wifi was playing up for half the time but the owners tried to fix both. We would return for shorter time.
