This stay was absolutely amazing! I visited with my women’s group, and it was the perfect spot for us. The house is beautifully laid out, making it so easy to gather for big group discussions around the breakfast table or cozy up for a movie night together. We also cooked during our trip, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Plus, the locals were so welcoming, and the surrounding area was stunning. We took the hosts’ recommendations and had a blast. Jumping Goat was a crowd favorite! Fantastic drinks, delicious sandwiches, live music, and a stunning view. We also loved Javi’s, a great Mexican restaurant with amazing food at a great value. If you’re traveling with a group or family, I highly recommend this place. There are so many spots to explore and plenty of ways to simply enjoy time together. I’m already planning to return this summer with my family.

We absolutely LOVED the cabin!! My girl friends and I got together for a little girls trip and this cabin was the perfect choice! It was within walking distance to most things in town, the pool table was fun, the hot tub was SO nice, all around was just a great experience. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Helen and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Helen soon!

I literally have nothing to but great things to say place is so unique and they paid attention to every single detail just amazing the only thing i want to say and only to help other is getting there can be alittle tricky but if I can find it anyone can the Google maps needs to be updated because it doesn't bring you right to the home and for a Florida girl like myself I'm not used to mountains and the way there way alittle hard or alot hard getting there at night 😉 please try ur best to get ther3 during the daylight because it's alittle hard to know when to actually turn in the one part of the video they they provide which was very helpful we watched it a few times to see haha but that's the Beauty and the location it is very private but just be mindful getting there might throw you for a loop but you'll make it make sure you make that right turn that you think not to make lol but this place was magical !!!!!!

Such a fun little spot right in downtown! My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here and just loved being able to come and go on foot as we pleased. Hot tub and sauna were a great little bonus after all the walking and eating haha

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

Nadgie was a responsive host and her place was as described, peaceful and clean. The birthday set up that she coordinated for me was also a great bonus to have, since I was traveling from out of town by plane. She had local recommendations and was extremely helpful. We had a small issue with the fireplace not working and she immediately had someone come out on the weekend within an hour and fix the issue. We would definitely stay here again and plan to make it our yearly getaway!

Phyllis was amazing. She gave great communication before and during our stay. You can really tell she wants you to enjoy your stay. She went above and beyond by decorating for Christmas for us. It made it very special. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates and cooking utensils. The extra touches were amazing. Robes for the hot tub, games to play, and the chairs on the porch. She really thought of everything. We loved it. Thank you Phylis’s.

I can't say enough about our stay here. Everything we may have needed was available. The wildlife was amazing. We saw deer every day on our walks. The dock was perfect for our boat and swimming. it's where we spent most of our time. The jacuzzi was a treat. Beds were extremely comfortable. There are 3 kings. The pics show one room w/ 2 twins, but that is not the case. Thankfully my boys didn't have to share a room this time or that would have been an issue (insert mom eyeroll here). Short 30 minute drive to beautiful Helen. Grocery store and fast food is easy to get to. We had a wonderful week and did not want to leave. Thank you Karen for a beautiful home and a wonderful stay. We hope to be back next summer!

Our stay in the cottage was great! We were 10 total - 8 adults and 2 kids - and we wish we would’ve rented for another day. Spacious and comfy, the cottage provided both privacy and options to hang out together. The coffee bar and game room were a big hit! The hosts were extremely responsive.

We had to cancel a cabin last minute because of a burst water pipe and ended up at Linda’s cottage, and ended up loving her place more than our first! Perfect location, lots to do within 15 minutes. And the cottage was perfect, great views, and everything we needed for a great weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday!

This was even better than described! A private and unique cabin, just a stones throw to downtown. We will be back!

Our family had a wonderful time. We were in town for a family wedding at Lilly Creek and this was a great place to stay. The house is precious and well stocked. The lake is so peaceful and quiet. Ashley is amazing host and very responsive should you have any needs.

Would stay here again and will share with our friends. The hosts were wonderful about communication and quick to respond. The home was very welcoming.

This place is an absolute gem!! We loved every second of being there! The hosts were amazing and extremely helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had. Our family fell in love with this place, it’s truly beautiful and a wonderful place to relax and take in all the beauty around you! The house itself is perfectly set up and makes you feel like you’re at home, it’s so cozy and beautifully put together!

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is cute and is as described in the listing. Just a heads up for anyone else interested, the place is down a narrow dirt road that must've been washed out from the hurricane cuz it's a little rough. It's not hard to drive down, but there is a spot about 50 feet long where the center of the road is high, and if you have a small car, your undercarriage will definitely scrape. We came in a rented minivan tho and it made it down the road just fine. My only two issues was 1) They didn't clean the leaves off of the the front and back back porch. They were covered in a ton of leaves and they had def been there for a while since the trees didn't have any leaves on them. They didn't have a broom in the house, so I bought one and swept it for them. 2) There were 6 of us staying there for a week and they only had one towel for each of us. It would have been nice to have 2 per person since they have a washer machine, but no laundry detergent was provided.

Repeat visitor on visits to our UNG college kid. Convenient location and easy drive to campus and downtown. We picnicked and fished both days at nearby Lake Zwerner. Nice open kitchen we made Super Bowl snacks and grilled steaks on the grill on the deck. Very clean and private. Looking forward to the new hot tub!

Absolutely beautiful Airbnb both inside and out. My wife and I like private and peaceful locations and this property sits at the very end of a private road surrounded by trees - absolutely perfect. The house itself was beautiful and very well taken care of. The host was very communicative and responsive to any question we had. Will definitely rent again.

Alison’s place was absolutely amazing!!!! It was very comfortable for the 6 of us including are four legged babies. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect!!!! There were snacks, some spices and everything we needed to cook and clean. The beds were super comfortable. We were minutes from wineries and Helen. Beautiful property… inside and out! We enjoyed our second stay at Rick’s cabin and will return when we next come to Dahlonega! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but only a 5 minute drive to wineries and the Square.

Our Favorite Christmas Getaway Spot! This was our second time spending Christmas at this lovely cabin, and it felt just as magical as the first. The cabin is cozy, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions if desired. Our family created such wonderful memories here, from enjoying cozy nights by the fireplace to waking up to beautiful views. Thank you for making this cabin feel like our home away from home. We can’t wait to return next year!

We had a lovely stay here, there are a lot of state parks close by and the town of Dahlonega is really nice. We really enjoyed Jethros coffee in the town. We ventured out to Apple orchards and other nearby towns such as Helen and Gainesville. We went to Dawsonville for a Christmas parade which our 3 year old loved. The home itself is very cozy and well kept. Sitting on the patio with a coffee is very relaxing. Only criticisms would be that the bed upstairs is really creaky and feels unsteady. There were neighborhood dogs barking and howling for long periods of time that does kind of disrupt the peace but that’s not the fault of the host at all. Overall 5 stars and would definitely recommend.
