Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Lower Austria

The place was nice, cozy and clean. Very quiet and private. Had everything we needed for our stay, close to the shops, ski slopes. The only thing I would say is if you are traveling with kids having a car is much easier than walking and relying on public transport

The house was very clean and well appointed. The oven in the living room has created a very cozy atmosphere. Overall, the house is very new and modern and in real life even more beautiful than in the pictures. We had a super nice stay at Edith's house!

A very nice accommodation in a picturesque environment with numerous excursion options. We enjoyed the time very much and can only recommend the place.

I stayed with my wife and our 2 year old daughter at Nicloe's place. The place was super easy to find. Amenities were clean and everything you need for a ski holiday, and as a family great by the size of the accommodation. By car about 3 km away from the Prebichl valley stadium, so price performance in January is more than top. We took the two restaurant recommendations and were very satisfied, Schwarzer Adler is within walking distance and the Langreiter inn is a nice walk or by car 2 min.

I greatly enjoyed my stay in one of the two smaller apartments. A perfect view of the Schneeberg, the quiet location, great hikes starting at the front door, and the perfect host all contributed to a wonderful week. Johannes (from East Lansing, Michigan)

This place was the perfect gateway! The property was stunning, the views are gorgeous and the amenities make you never want to leave. We could’ve stayed in that hot pot overlooking the valley for days. The home has everything you need, even a fountain that flows with fresh spring water (literally the best water I’ve ever drank). Lukasz was a great host and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. We even pulled up to the whole place covered in Christmas lights! We can not say enough great things about the home and our host!

Just superb. The apartment is so beautiful, with authentic rustic furnishings that have been carefully crafted. The location just outside Hohentauern is great, a little more secluded than properties in the village itself, and yet only a couple of minutes into town by car. The balcony view is lovely out to the Bruderkogel and Grosser Hengst. Walking is simply great in the area. Breakfast was super, with locally-sourced offerings of meat, cheese, eggs, jam, honey, and bread, delivered to the apartment door. Being August, we did not take the opportunity to use the beautiful wood fire or the sauna (a good reason, among many, to come back). The whole stay was an absolute pleasure, and we deemed this venue a real "find". We hope that Vladimir and his lovely family continue to be successful with their venture, but hope selfishly that it doesn't become so popular that we can't get a booking!!

We spent a few days here. The location is perfect, shops, city and sleding area are in walking distance. The house is convinient, there is a big living room and two bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. Angelika and Günther are really nice people and helpful. Two notes about the house: the two living rooms are not next each other. Heating is through a wood fired boiler.

It was a 3. visit with my family. Everything was perfect!

A super cozy house in a beautiful location on the edge of the small village of Karlstift. The furnishings are very complete without a lot of unnecessary stuff. We did not see the landlords in person, but communication via app and phone went smoothly. The ski lift is really right in front of the house, unfortunately there was no snow - which was not so bad as there were not too far away slopes with artificial snow.

We enjoyed our stay in Hohentauern. In summer, these houses are not occupied, so it was quiet in the neighbourhood. The house itself was well equipped with everything that is needed regarding kitchen en houseware. The car park is short distance, which is convenient. Claudia responds fast to our requests. She took quick action when the water heater didn't work anymore. It was repaired the day after.

We had a great stay, the cabin was beautiful as expected and the location is perfect, with a really fantastic view. Our host was very very friendly and accommodating. Clear recommendation from us! 😊

Very nice accommodation, beautiful surroundings, ideal location for families with children.

The cabin is as described, the path is a small challenge with a "normal" car. But it's not surprising with a remote cabin. We felt comfortable and can recommend the hut and Reinhard as a host!
