We stayed over the Christmas period and couldn’t recommend it enough! Caroline had put lots of effort into making our stay as comfortable as possible and the lots of thoughtful details were very much appreciated. We had the best Christmas stay and would definitely come back again

We had a lovely stay at Christmas. Our host welcomed us with tasty treats that we enjoyed during our stay. The house was decorated beautifully and we felt very much at home right away. We had a wonderful Christmas celebration there.

The house was perfect, prime location and walking distance to the pubs and restaurants

This converted barn is in a great location, just a few minutes drive from the local village (Omeath - with a great pub which is child and dog friendly!). Also well located if visiting Carlingford. The house itself has everything you need and is set in expansive gardens (perfect for our dog). Samantha & Terry are great hosts - very welcoming and we had great communication from the moment we booked. They were very accommodating for our 1.5yr old son, with highchair, travel cot and toys provided. Highly recommend their place - hope to stay again soon.

We had a lovely stay here.Saoirse was very helpful with everything.The heating was on for our arrival which was lovely too.There are shops,takeaways,resturants and friendly pub very close by.You have everything you could possibly need in the cottage.We will definetly be returning.

Caroline and Damian were great hosts. They put in a lot of effort to create the accommodation and the experience that comes with it. They were very warm and happy to assist with any requests. We enjoyed our weekend away and look forward to returning.

Bective offers 'luxury' rooms just a few minutes from the city, making it the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and quiet while still being close to amenities. The fact that the rooms are situated within a beautiful stud farm really adds to the relaxing atmosphere, allowing you to unwind completely. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene yet convenient getaway!

We had an amazing time at Kevin’s place. The house was exactly as described, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood, which made it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. Kevin was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

Jane and Nimu were both very friendly and communicated proactively. The accommodation is located walking distance to the train station (about 20 min walk) and there are a few restaurants + a grocery store nearby the station. Really appreciated the detailed information the hosts provided in their manual. It was very clean inside and kitchen had utensils + mini fridge. Overall, very satisfied with the accommodation!

Gorgeous little attic apartment in a fabulous location. The views are stunning from the sea facing windows. The town and harbour with all its cafes and restaurants are right on your doorstep so walking is a great way to get about. The beach is also just outside the doorstep. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are all you could require for a comfortable stay.

Brigitte and her family were excellent hosts, very welcoming and friendly while accommodating of anything and everything that you could want for your stay. Their home is situated in perfect walking distance to the local village with plenty of bars and restaurants available, with beautiful scenery looking out over the bay and towards the peninsula. The room itself is an isolated part of their house with privacy and a separate entrance so it's easy to come and go without disturbing them, and 'The Granny Flat' is perfect for your stay with a small kitchen and bedroom/bathroom for yourself. Check-In is easy thanks to a lockbox that can also be used for check-out, and they're kind enough to leave a folder with recommendations and tips on the local area to cover any and all your needs. I'd highly recommend a stay at The Granny Flat and would certainly use it again when in the area in future!

Lovely 1 BR apartment in a quiet, secure area with dedicated parking spot. Easy car or bus access to Swords and Malahide. Malahide Castle is about a 25 minutes walk away. Phil is a very conscientious host who is always available.
