Family-friendly vacation rentals in Longford

This stay was our favourite of our holiday. After 10 days of roadtripping Tasmania, this was our final night and it was the perfect place to relax, unwind and reflect of how great our trip had been. The hot tub was such a nice added bonus, with a great bottle of rose. I cannot recommend this accomodation more.

Susie and Gordon provided an incredible space for my partner and I. Beautiful location, beautiful home! Our stay was amazing…and the outdoor bath, the king size bed overlooking the rolling hills and the sour dough bread included, brilliant! Would stay again in a heartbeat 🙏🏼

Such a wonderful peaceful stay in Linda's lovely homely cottage. Styled beautifully, comfortable luxury bedding, and all the kitchen amenities one needs including good coffee. Looking out at the pond from the lounge and bedrooms and outdoor bath was so picturesque watching the local wildlife and feeding the chickens daily was such a delight, especially for my grandson. Just wanted to stay and soak in all the beauty that was surrounding.

Great value for money, this was the best house that we had stayed so far. I will choose this location if I was to return, even there was only three of us.

The cottage is so cozy, lovely, and comfortable like home. It satisfied both adults and kids including a fresh breakfast and the beautiful furnitures. It's very meaningful to stay a night in this historical house. My kids loved the feeding session in the morning and Louise made it a great experience for them in detail. Although if there is one thing, the wood stove was under construction even though we didn't expect it to be and was excited to use it. We will never forget the day here!

We loved it. As soon as we arrived we headed straight to Kelly’s table on the beach to have a drink and watch a stunning sunset. The house itself felt like staying at a friend’s place — lots of personal, comfortable, thoughtful touches. And the views! The location is beautiful although a little remote. Our favourite spots were the river beach 10 steps in front of the house, the ocean beach 5 minutes’ walk away, coffee at the providore at the Pilot Station, coffee at Signature in George Town and freshly opened oysters from George Town Seafoods.

Our group of friends had a great stay at Tim’s place in Deloraine. We had everything we needed for a wonderful al fresco dinner on the back deck. Tim’s place is close to everything, the main shopping Street and cafes.

A lovely house in a great location. We really enjoyed our family meal in the formal dining room with views over the waterfront. Highly recommend.

New, very clean, well set out. Great host that was very flexible. The room is attached to someone's else and feels as if there is not a lot of privacy. This was explained in the bio. It wasn't an issue for us. But it may not be the right place if you want total privacy.

Beautiful home and even more beautiful garden! Super nice people and it was such an amazing stay. They were helpful and accommodating. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be coming back to explore this amazing area. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing time with a beautiful view of the valley.

We had a great stay at Aaron and Trish’s. The loft apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Make sure you stay at least 3-4 days at Drift to enjoy the peace and relaxation it offers you. We loved our stay in an authentic and simple shack, styled to encourage cooking and eating in, reading, enjoying the nostalgia of old records and slow days. Drift would suit couples of any age or a small family who love to explore nature.

A gorgeous apartment right in the CBD. Couldn't fault it.

This house was perfect for our grown boys and their families. We just moved in and relaxed as it was just easy. Easy access to the beach and parks, golf course and tennis. Everything was on hand in the house with full kitchen utensils, crockery and platters etc for entertaining. Every-time we needed something it was in the house. ✅ We all enjoyed the games room and the beach toys. Plenty of space and bathrooms 😀.
