Cabin vacation rentals in Long Lake

The lease agreement is lengthy never had to do that for a 2 day stay and I’m not sure of the rationale. You have to pay and sign before getting the access code to the place. The description does say to ask if you have questions about the agreement before paying and I wish I would have but overall it was not a problem. The description is accurate; must bring your own sheets, bath towels, hand towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. They do provide dishes and silverware. Beach chairs and fire pit are right across the street. Lovedddd staying here in October it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again!!

The cabin was small, but perfect for two! It was a perfectly peaceful and enjoyable for a relaxing few days before Christmas, even had a beautiful tree put up as well! The area was sparse on “activities” other than outdoor activities, but it was a slow paced area that we were able to do some shopping, eating, hiking, and driving around! Overall a perfect little space for a weekend getaway, Will definitely be back!

Rachel was a great host. Very clean & well taken care of. Close & easy excess to orv/snowmobile trails. Plenty of parking & close to town. Will stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Phil’s Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Phil was a fantastic host—communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful. The location was perfect for our group, and we truly appreciated all the little touches that made our stay even better.

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, kitchen was well stocked with supplies we ate all our meals at the cabin. Hot tub was awesome and the location was peaceful! Communication was great and we were so appreciative when we asked about a late checkout with kiddos to get out the door too. They were able to accommodate us as there wasn’t any one checking in the day we left. Lovely stay! Thank you!

This is what our adult kids & ourselves do for Christmas. Instead of buying gifts for each other we put money towards having quality time together. This place was perfect! My son, daughter in-law & grandson had the space above the garage & the treat of us in the main house. There was so much room to cook, have fun & play games together. Not to mention the pool table & ping pong table. It was peaceful & restful which we all needed. Thank you Holly & Shayne!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!

We had a perfect stay at this Airbnb. The location was great, the host was fantastic, and the place itself was wonderful. The AC was an added bonus, and the grounds were clean and well-kept. It's conveniently close to Black Lake and Hammond Bay/Lake Huron! We definitely will be back.

Awesome place to take the dogs. Quiet and peaceful. Tons of deer all around.

Mabel's Place is cuter than the photos! It was perfectly cozy with a great yard space just close enough to town and other recreation areas! Roger always responded in a timely matter. This is a hidden gem!

This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

Eric's place is exactly what an "up north" cottage should be. Cozy, rustic, comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful surroundings. We loved it! It was exactly as described and provided everything we needed. Eric was a great host, too. I mentioned that my husband and I were taking a weekend up north as a way to celebrate my birthday, and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED! I walked in to find a birthday card and a token gift on the table. He also gave great instructions and local info, and stayed dialed in the entire weekend. As for the area, we drove to Harbor Springs and explored the Tunnel of Trees. We also biked the Little Traverse Wheelway from Harbor Springs to Petosky. And we checked out the fantastic bike trail right near Eric's place, which takes you to Aloha State Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great! I would definitely book again:) Alyshia was super friendly and quick to respond. Everything was as described. We felt very much “at home”!

The Airbnb was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of 5 people and 2 dogs. We were glad to be able to make our own meals there. We were able to watch a movie using the roku . The dining table was big enough for playing games. The yard was nice and open for the dogs to get some exercise. Everything worked as it should. There was even a grill for grilling our steaks. Mercedes was always quick to answer questions. She's a very nice and friendly host. Great rental!

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. Great location and cabin.

Rented for a softball tournament. Had a blast. It was warm outside and the upstairs was kind of on the warm side. No air conditioning. Overall worked well for what we needed.

Went for a 2 day golf trip to Forest Dunes, the cabin was about a mile from the entrance. Everything was very clean, new, and working in the cabin. I hope this place is available the next time we come back, would highly recommend.

I love this place. The only thing I dislike is how uncomfortable the beds are. I would recommend bringing a topper so you can save your back from aches and pains after a couple days. The house is comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. Lake is gorgeous and James, the host is a gem of a human b

we had an absolutely amazing time! hosts are very kind, responsive, and easy-going. host showed us to the cabin, gave us an overview of the place/appliances, and even gave us very personal recommendations of the area to visit. very flexible with letting you walk the trails around the property. we had trouble with the shower, where they were very responsive and fixed the issue right away. every cooking/kitchen utensil you could need for the tiny cabin is available to you. the hosts let us stay a few hours later than normal check out (due to no other guests coming that day), which led to a stress-free departure on a snowy sunday afternoon. it’s an absolutely beautiful location!! would definitely recommend and will look into staying again in the summer/fall seasons. perfect for a little weekend getaway

*Tons of stars to see! Saw the perseids & milky way! *No chore list. *Open deck is very new, nice. *Outside needs updated pics! Neighbor's cabin is pictured, not the actual rental. Yard is a nice, steep grassy area. No clutter (that was pictured). Looks so much better in person! *Very steep gravel driveway leading down to house- park up top and walk things down. *NO firepit (as listed), also no picnic table, no red bench (as pictured).Lots of chairs were provided. *Bring water shoes (shoreline is a mix of mud & sand)- water is very clear. *Grounds/Cottage is a work in progress. Fun & quirky decor! Great mattresses! *Quiet & peaceful! No other renters were there. The cabin & 4 other camping/RV lot rentals sit side-by-side all within viewing distance of each other. No privacy fence, hedge or anything to give a little more secluded feeling. Would return if other rentals were still unoccupied. *Owner was nice, responsive & let us stay very late. Had a great time & would recommend!
