Had a really nice stay. Outside views is great.

We had a wonderful five days' stay at this spacious, clean, well-equipped and well located flat. There is a very nice jungle walk about a 10-minute walk away and, on a clear day, a stunning view of the Nanda Devi range. An added bonus was a clear view of Trishul from the balcony. Sulochana was quick to respond to any query (though we hardly had any). We did our vegetable and grocery shopping at the nearby market in Majhkhali, which also has a petrol pump, a post office and an ATM. Ranikhet is about 20 mts drive and it's about 90 mts to Kausani (the birthplace of the poet Sumitranandan Pant; his house is worth visiting). The flat is really peaceful, though not far from the main road. And, to add to our enjoyment, Kanchan (who does the cooking and care-taking) is a great cook! Her cooking was really a highlight.

Mayur’s place is a vibe. It’s a rustic cottage in a little village. Extremely well maintained and beautiful beyond imagination. The co-host & caretaker were extremely responsive and helped with the directions & luggage respectively. Clean and comfortable. Post card perfect.

Our stay at Jolly Rogers was nothing short of magic! Nestled in the heart of Majhkhali, the property's majestic views of the Himalayan range left us awestruck. The cottage itself is a masterclass in cozy elegance, with plush linens, vintage charm, and amenities that exceed expectations. Kudos to Anuja for being an exceptional host - her prompt responses and thoughtful gestures made our stay seamless. Pushkar, the caretaker, was a warm and welcoming presence, ensuring our every need was met. The bonfire he arranged was a delightful touch, perfect for stargazing on a crisp evening. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat that combines natural beauty with warm hospitality, this cottage is the perfect haven. With its breathtaking views, excellent amenities, and genuine warmth, it's an experience that will stay with you forever. Highly, highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Cavok Cottage, and it was a delightful experience. The stunning surroundings and charming architecture made it feel like a true sanctuary. The house was impeccably clean & cosy with top-notch facilities in place. Kavita, the lovely hostess, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel like I was staying at an old friend's place. Her warmth and genuine care made the experience even more enjoyable. The meals by the Man Friday of Cavok, Mukesh, were a treat, with amazing flavours and fresh ingredients. Kavita's two adorable dogs, Joey & Jerry, added to the fun with their playful antics. Although, If you're not pet-friendly, Kavita has enough safeguards to ensure that they do not bother you. One note: the entry road is steep and may challenge inexperienced drivers. I recommend checking with Kavita beforehand to get the best advice on navigating it. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful house for a relaxing getaway. I can’t wait to return!

I believe easily the best place that you could book for to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life. The way the place has been done, it definitely feels like one which is well thought out and laid by a traveller. Amazing idea of leaving a personalised letter welcoming you to your cottage (Thanks Arun). They go over and beyond with your requests for anything (as long as they are reasonable), including food requests which are not mentioned in their menu. Try out the Kadaknath (Pahadi Chicken) curry. It deserves 5 star of its own (Thank You Jeevan ji, the cook for that). Please ask Arun (Manager) humbly and he may even surprise you with his personally prepared laal maas. If you are interested in lights treks, you should definitely try the trek to Katarmal Sun Temple. Feel free to invite Ankur and Arun over to join your little bonfire right outside your cootage and be mesmerised listening to their travel stories. Neer Home Stay in Munsiyari was a fantastic place to stay! The location was perfect, offering a breathtaking view of the Panchuli peaks—absolutely mesmerizing. Astha, the host, was incredibly soft-spoken and accommodating, even helping us with an early check-in. The caretakers, Kapil and Uma, were equally amazing—always helpful and welcoming, and their warm smiles made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Munsiyari!
